The calamari appetizer was tender but the fry itself was a bit pale. My dining partner was pleased with their seafood pasta which had plenty of crab, calamari and mussels. Veal parm was quite good although the pasta that came with it was a bit over done. Both portions were large enough to feed us for lunch the next day. Way too loud. I ordered the scallops risotto- scallops were VERY salty and the risotto was so undercooked it was crunchy. They did not take it off the bill even though it was uneaten. My husband order the chicken picatta which he enjoyed. The pasta sauce was quite unremarkable. read more

Simply the best Italian food locally! First time here and wow, so glad we found this hidden gem. The waitress was amazing, food excellent, and ambiance very nice and low key. Every single item we ordered was amazing! Grilled calamari is my favorite seafood appetizer and no one locally serves this so that was a surprise! The sausage appetizer was probably the best item overall and also the crab pasta. The restaurant is byob and I believe you need a reservation. Very surprised to see any negative reviews. Came here for dinner with friends. This is your typical Italian restaurant with the normal dishes on the menu. Food was overall good. Service was definitely on the slower side but being with friends as opposed to my kids made that more manageable. They are BYOB which is nice. For my entree, I had the seafood pasta that came with crab meat, mussels and calamari. It was very good. I was disappointed though that I purposely saved half to eat it for lunch the next day and had it boxed up. When I came home, they had given me someone else's meal. We had a church christmas dinner at Fellini Cafe of about 18 people and I was so pleasantly surprised to have found this gem. We had a reservation and as each guest arrived everyone was treated with so much care from the staff. The owner herself was there to greet us and make sure we had a wonderful time, which was fantastic. The place itself is gorgeous, visiting in December made it all the better as every corner was decorated for the holidays which is something I personally love. Their menu is very large with many different options. We all ordered different things more or less, but as far as I heard around the table everyone was very happy with their meals. I ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara which was delicious, and my husband ordered the Lasagna, which he loved also. We all enjoyed our time so much and I'm so glad this was where we decided to go. Spent our Valentine's evening here. I will consider that it was a holiday- because it was SLAMMED! Took an extra 30 minutes past our reservation to be seated. But again I understand- it appeared they were all working hard! The burrata salad special app was incredible. The Caesar salad was awesome. My fiance ordered the four cheese gnocchi and it was heavenly. Seriously the lightest little gnocchis. However, I ordered chicken Marsala with a side of pasta and was handed red sauce spaghetti to go with it. I've never been served chicken Marsala with red sauce and it just didn't taste good together, so I just ate the chicken which was good- but definitely could have used pasta. I was a bit disappointed they ran out of tiramisu since that's my favorite but the special valentines desert was very good. Do not judge this cafe during the holiday season. My dinner was a disappointment the string beans were cold and overcooked. The eggplant parm was soggy breading and no where like the dish I have ordered before & so pleased with. It could be because it was a busy Friday evening and many large parties. The owner is rude and treats customers as if they are lucky to be there, not the other way around. We had an unforeseen circumstance, where 2 in our party had to cancel. I tried to call to inform but no one answered. After we were seated, I was scolded by the owner repeatedly about how he cannot have cancellations such last minute. I apologized, as it was unexpected. Instead of saying that one time, he went on and on, stating how in the future, he will be taking credit cards to make reservations...and how much of a hassle it is. I apologized repeatedly but he did not stop. It spoiled the entire vibe and made it awkward and uncomfortable, as if we were lucky to be there and simply unwanted business. We only stayed to not ruin a child's celebration. I am very disappointed, as we were frequent customers. No one should be treated and embarrassed like that. read more

We dined at your restaurant to celebrate my grand-daughters' confirmation. Due to last minute unforeseen circumstance there were only 4 dining. We tried calling at 3:45 to advise of the change but there was no answer. Upon seated at the table my daughter was reprimanded by the manager in what could only be called a rude fashion about not amending the reservation. If we were not with my granddaughter we would have left upon being scolded. We have never encountered such rudeness from a manager who would not let the situation go...telling us about other issues he is facing. My family as well as my daughter are frequent patrons. I tried to deflect the situation by telling the manager we were frequent customers but the manager went right back to berating us for not notifying him in the change in reservation. I could only hope in the future your customers will come first and you will be grateful to have the patronage instead of treating paying customers with such rudeness! read more

Arrived early as our reservation wasn't for 30 min later and was seated immediately. Waitress was very attentive. I ordered Caesar salad which came out in only a few minutes. It was really good , could of had a bit more dressing but was good. Then i ordered eggplant parmigiana and it also arrived quickly. I was Hungary and it did not disappoint! Delicious food!! I used to LOVE this restaurant before COVID and did give them a 5 star a few years back. This trip was a disaster. Service poor, very noisey ( they allowed a wedding party in that didn't care about anyone else enjoying a quiet meal) Food really bad. There were four of us and we all felt the same. Brutal experience at Fellini Cafe. We arrived on time for our reservation, and waited almost 10 minutes for a hostess to come over and greet us. Once they greeted us we were seated and promptly received our bread and water. I guess that is when we became invisible again. We were right near the entrance to the kitchen so waiters/waitresses walked past us repeatedly but nobody even looked at us. We just sat there with our bottle of wine (unopened) and bread for 5, 10, 20 minutes. At one point we heard one of the waitresses comment to another that we had been sitting there for awhile, so we thought maybe they would come over at that point, but no. After 25 minutes we decided to head up the street to Fiorello Cafe where we had a lovely dinner. I get places are short-staffed, and we are very understanding of that, but to not even have someone come over and say they'll be right with us is something. And we were not the only ones...another couple followed us out the door after not receiving getting any service either. Such a shame because the food that came by looked delicious. read more

First time ordering take out from the West Chester location. My Chicken Cesar salad only had 5 extra thin pieces of chicken. I wish to have a lot more protein (chicken) on the salad. Too much lettuce. Only a few cherry tomatoes and there was crumbled parm cheese on it. I felt that it was mediocre for sure and it wasn't worth what I paid. I was disappointed. We got the penne with Sausage and that was HUGE. Can deff feed two adults. Yummy and very generous with sausage. Equal ratio pasta to sausage. My husband loved it. Normally we go to the Newtown Square location. And I have gotten many meals off their menu and normally always so delicious. Chicken Cesar salad is one of my favorite entrees when I dine out. Went there for the first time with a few friends. I ordered the chicken alla melanzane, it was awful! The chicken was grey and not freshly cooked, the eggplant ( if you could call it eggplant) on top was mush and totally covered in cheese and drowned in a blush tomato sauce. One of the worst dishes I've ever had. Couldn't eat at all. The chicken was definitely not cooked to order but probably a few days old. . They did take it off the bill. My husband and I were very disappointed with our last. The service was sub par. We ordered our meal and generally the food was excellent. The Risotto was extremely greasy and too much cheese. I could not eat it. When we were done with our meal the waitress cleared the plates and brought us the check. Did not ask if we would like coffee or desert. Did not ask if the food was okay and why it was not touched. Service and food has been good in the past. Not sure what happened here. My sister and I have been going here for quite a few years. But over the last couple of years the owner has made some downgrades to his business. It used to be that the calamari appetizer came with a side salad. The calamari appetizer was a generous portion. Now...no more side salad, smaller portion of calamari and a $5.00 increase in price for that. As a matter of fact, all menu items have increased in price at least by $5.00. Fellini's used to serve complimentary bruschetta to all guests. They stopped doing that. Most recently, I was disappointed to find that the owner now charges extra to anyone using a card to pay for their meal. The owner, George, should be ashamed. He had a beautiful thing going there. I wouldn't even mind an increase in menu prices. But the increase in prices coupled with the cut backs in portion sizes and removal of the complimentary items, I feel is just too much to tolerate. read more

Totally disappointed with my dinner experience. Positives: Clean, nice interior, on the ball staff with filling water, clearing plates, and the bruscetta. Negatives: The food was terrible. Normally, I don't complain about large portions. The meal was all quantity, and not quality. I ordered linguini with shrimp, garlic tomato sauce with a little bit of marinara. This dish had zero flavor. It was swimming in tomato water and was just a total disappointment. Not worth $20. We also ordered fried calamari which had zero flavor and way too much breading. Beware of the great reviews as they are deceiving. I came in today and my server was a little pushy about yelping. She said that their boss wants them to yelp a review to boost their stars. Although my service was on point and I really loved my chicken parm, it's pretty sad that the servers have to tell the customers to post a 5 Star review.
