Went there this Friday, surprised to see the place was very clean and well organized. The staffs are super helpful and friendly!

I love this building. All the staff are so nice the space is beautiful and it's a great location if you like living in the city.

The phrase day ONE.. is a perfect fit. An Omen of sorts describing my tenancy at this property under Samuels & Associates. I can't describe the sorrow, misery and despair I felt living here. Several Weeks before my move in date at this property; I began asking about a storage unit. I sent several emails. About a week prior to my move in date, I still was not assigned a unit. I came up with a backup plan tried to secure an off site unit, however hopeful that I would get one on-site. The day of the move I was sweating bullets and emailing Management. My movers were about to leave- My storage items would not fit in the apartment- ... about 13 mins before Movers were set to leave, Management assigned me a storage space. Check out the primo spot that they gave me...... (SEE PICTURE) This incident would set the stage for my tenancy here. 1. I had NO hot water in my bathroom faucet for almost 5 months. After 5 months, a "repair" was done. After that, if I ran the water for 5-8 mins; I had very Luke warm water. Asking guests to kneel and wash hands in the tub or the kitchen sink is just embarrassing. I lived here for over a YEAR with this. On September 17th 2022, I randomly came home to hot water running, OVER A YEAR! 2. I know that even very high end residences have pests. Mice come out in broad day light in the Main Lobby, running around like it's Field Day. This was also reported to Management. Also, great for guests. 3. Your pet is NOT WELCOME IN THE OUTDOOR COURTYARD. I get people that don't clean up after their pets. I get it! But punish those residents. Mismanagement sends out emails telling you that using the COURTYARD is a "PRIVILEGE" .... if you have a pet... You PAY.. PET RENT.. your pets don't stay here as a favor from Management. 4. The elevators are frequently out of use. Trash eluminating in the lobby and elevator wouldn't do the smell justice at times. It's like stir fried hot P!ss that has been left to simmer w/ 10 day old funky feet, urine and feces. Rent here, I defy you to describe it differently. I wish that smellaphoto was a thing. 5. Trash outside your potential unit sits well into the afternoon at times. (Driveway) Leaving seedy characters to urinate and more in broad daylight... (SEE PICTURE) 6. Leaking water in Common Areas.. LOBBY... Mailroom where your packages are left. (SEE PICTURE) 7. A random repair outside of my unit that left an unsightly area right in front of my unit for *over* 7 weeks. (SEE PICTURE) Great for guests and neighbors to view. 9. One night starting at around 12:15 a.m. there was a loud smashing and banging of glass. The walls were shaking. I looked out of my window and someone had left an entire window washing unit against the side of the building unsecured. For OVER 4 hours during a very windy storm, there were gusts, smashing glass panels, and valuables falling off my walls... the window washing unit proceeded to smash and slam against the building. The device was smashing and breaking glass panels and spewing purple foam debris throughout the neighborhood. I have videos but am unable to post them. 10. Sarah in The Mis- Management Office is incompetent to the point of absurdity! Common Sense escapes her. She is inept far beyond belief. FAR beyond belief. She mishandled SO many issues, I wish Google would allow for emails to be posted. Her complete lack of common sense literally almost left me Homeless. No joke. 11. There was a major, major nuisance in the building. I took video and emailed it to her. After watching the video, she offered to send maintenance to my unit..... Like... what?!! It was clearly the tenant using an object to deliberately bang against the walls. This went on for hours at a time day and night for months!!!!! She also emailed me in a separate incident, telling me not to talk to neighbors about noise. Methods used to shut me up. Ultimately, other neighbors complained about THIS very tenant to Mis Management. 12. I can not express the mental, and physical toll living here has had on me. I was actually staying with friends for months on and off, to not be here. I have lost unnecessary weight and feel depleted. Samuels and Associates staff have a sinister presence. They feel that they are above everything even the law. 13. One of my neighbors, a tortured soul jumped out of a window to their death just outside of my bedroom window. (Can be verified via Boston Police Headquarters. ) Management informed residents of the death in an email, explaining an "incident" occurred in the driveway. This place is cursed. 14. I found another apartment to move into. Knowing EXACTLY how my residency has been here, Samuels & Associates charged me SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS to break my lease. I will have to go into my Retirement Account to recover from this, STAY AWAY!!! read more

the doormen/women are fantastic and the events are awesome! the apartment building hosts raffles for the residents which we were fortunate enough to win 2 tickets to a Red Sox game which came with $40 loaded on each ticket! super grateful for the experience and the opportunities Fenway Triangle offers! read more

I've only lived here for a few months but so far my experience has been amazing! The front desk staff has been so kind, and helpful. The package delivery system is very efficient. Our utilities have all worked really well and when we placed a service request it was immediately taken care of the same day. Would definitely recommend living here. read more

I disagree with most of the negative reviews here. I have lived at Fenway Triangle for over a year and couldn't be happier with my experience. Among the luxury buildings in The Fenway, Fenway Triangle is the best value. You get more square footage per price here than in other buildings and the quality of the units, staff, and amenities are very comparable. Pros: -Leasing office is professional and very responsive. They respond to emails within 24 hours. They are all extremely friendly and courteous. -Maintenance staff will rapidly and properly fix any issues that arise. My average request is completed in 24-48 hours. -Concierge staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Always open the door for us when we walk in and promptly retrieve our packages. -The common areas are vacuumed and cleaned every day, making the building very clean at all times. -Price changes after lease renewal are reasonable. -There are storage units available for rent at a reasonable price if your unit does not have enough storage. -Gym with appropriate social distancing -Great central location within Fenway. StarMarket, Target, Supercuts, Trillium, Timeout Market, dry cleaning, banks/ATMs, numerous restaurants and cafes all within 1 block. -Underground parking garage attached (but pricey). -Great views of Fenway -Large bathrooms and living rooms -Updated flooring and granite countertops -Online portal makes it so easy to pay bills, make service requests, have guests over -Comfortable common areas to do work if you want to leave your unit Cons: -Expensive, but that is the case for all the luxury buildings in this area. Having to write this review both angers and disappoints me beyond words. Bottom line: don't live here unless you want to your security deposit and interest to disappear. For close to 5 years I called this place home. My experience with Samuels and Associates and FenRes was a unique one because I once owned a business in the retail section of the building. When it became apparent the business wasn't flourishing, I was given a chance to get out with my peace of mind intact. The people who handled my commercial lease were very professional, forthright and understanding. I expected the same from the residential leasing department. I was wrong. For the four years I lived at Trilogy not once did I see a yearly security deposit statement or proof that it my deposit was kept safe in an interest bearing savings account as is mandated by the State of Massachusetts. When I emailed the building secretary to inquiry, she sent an email back that said" Also we do not typically give yearly statements. We give a statement when a resident moves out. I can print up your ledger if that helps but as of right now there is no statement to be made.". Huh? Again, I thought this was Massachusetts law and I was use to getting an interest check at the end of each year with all my other landlords. This seemed fishy to me but I didn't pursue it because I thought that when I moved out I'd get my security deposit and the interest back. I was wrong about that too. As I was moving out, the chief building maintenance engineer Nick stopped in to say good-bye. He said he'd take a quick preliminary look around and did so. He mentioned to me and another person in the apartment with me that everything looked good and nothing looked glaringly damaged or broken. I took the moment to mention to him that even though we opted for the professional cleaning service Trilogy provides as an option at move-out, I was still going to rug doctor the rugs myself. I also asked about the walk thru and he said that he does it with the assistant manager of the building (this wasn't the case as I later found out). It was my understanding, from my lease extension and vacant forms, that I didn't have to be there but if there were issues I could opt to participate and have a non partial third party present too. I rug doctor-ed carpets before I left and I have to say that they looked pretty darn good! I was fairly impressed with myself and thought that Nick and you would be impressed too. The only thing I can imagine being a "stain" on the carpet would be from the water damage that occurred over 1 weekend with the upstairs neighbor's washer. It happened over a weekend and it soaked our hallway/living room area. It took maintenance until mid week to deal with it and by then a water stain was very apparent. To give you a sense of how bad the leak was, I was later informed it came from the 8th floor and I lived on the 6th floor. But even that water stain seemed to come right up. And so I returned my keys and said goodbye to a chapter of life. But before I could move on, I wanted my security deposit back. About 15 days after I moved out I still hadn't seen a check or heard a peep from anyone about it. So I both called and emailed and called and emailed again. Nada. I spoke to the assistant manager Kim who said there was a charge for damage to the carpet, eh? I asked if I could see pictures or how much the damage was. She said that she wasn't there at the walk thru and was waiting for pictures from Nick. Seriously?? The leasing offices are right on the 2nd floor of the building and basically the assistant manager is too lazy to 1. do the walk thru 2. look at the apartment herself. But she promised she'd said the pictures to me. So I'm STILL waiting to see photos but in the meantime a check arrived for less than half my security deposit and didn't include 4 years of interest. WTF?!?! They had to take more than half my security deposit out for the carpet that I rug doctored. According to Trilogy they have to replace the carpet due to 'pet urine'. Are you kidding me? First of all that carpet was pristine when I left and there was no pet urine on the carpet. Secondly close to $1,000 to replace less than 400sq ft of carpet = highway robbery!!! I called the leasing office and the corporate offices of Samuels and Associates several times now and every time the manager is out or I get the extra condescending, very snarky blonde receptionist who is clearing laughing at me on the other end of the phone. I get that I'm now the butt of their little office jokes because I constantly call but I feel that I deserve answers. The last time I called she went as far to as to tell me "um you know that the general manager is really busy". I'm sorry I'm just a peon to you but truly if this is how they treat their tenants past and present, please save yourself and don't rent here!!! read more

Pro: Location Cons: EVERYTHING ELSE. Random fire alarms going off at all times. I.e. a fire alarm going off at 3 am. Neighbors training dogs in the hallway. Neighbor(s!) pre-gaming every weekend. I literally have the worst neighbors. Thin walls. Don't live here if you have young children. Unfortunately I have to agree with all the negative experiences listed and expressed by others here at Fenway Trilogy. My husband and I have been living here for the past 6 months and it's looking like these next 6 will be the last (we only signed a one year lease - thank god!). The building is extremely noisy - from kids running around (at one point we had toddlers running the halls chasing soccer balls!) to college students partying and playing loud music at random times in the day/night. We've complained to security on many occasions - they address the issue at the time - but the problem is never fixed permanently. The walls/doors are extremely thin and you can hear EVERYTHING. As I write this review, I am hearing a child screaming in the apartment across the hall from me and the neighbors below are playing the drums!?! I just want to say, if you are looking for a peaceful/charming building, I'd definitely recommend somewhere else. read more

I have been living at Trilogy for over three years. Up until a few months go I loved the building even though I noticed that the standard of the building has been deteriorating. The rent at Trilogy is very high and until a couple of years ago I felt that it was worth it. The building used to be very clean and perfectly managed - you would see cleaners everywhere in the common areas during the day. Now the elevators always have some sort of garbage on the floor. The carpets in the elevators in the main building are filthy and needs desperately to be changed. The building used to be very selective in choosing its tenants. Now there are families with bratty kids that make a lot of noise, hang out in the common areas and leave a mess everywhere. Basically there is no standard as long as someone can pay the very high rent. I have spoken to many other residents that feel the same way and several are either planning to leave or have left the building. This is definitely not a luxury building anymore and rent has gone up considerably from when I moved here three years ago. Apartments are now going for $500-$700 more per month they were three years ago. I plan on leaving Trilogy at the end of my lease. read more

Wow.. sounds like Chris had an awful experience. I suspect the problem is that Trilogy was overwhelmed by rentals over the summer. They went from 50% to around 90-95% full from June to October, and they're probably just not paying very close attention to new rentals anymore, as they get ready to start leasing at 1330 Bolyston. (Not an excuse, obviously.) You could have actually parked in the Trilogy garage. The leasing office can validate your ticket. But you're right; there's no way for you to know that ahead of time! They *should* put up a sign, but again, with so few people leasing these days, I don't imagine they've thought about it. (Also, they don't own the garage, so they may not be allowed to; technically, the apartments and the garage are both condo owners in the building.) And yes, the marketing web site is horrible. (The actual site for residents, which is the only one you'll care about if you move here, is fine - the typical BuildingLink site, with all your maintenance requests, package notices, resident bulletins, etc.) FWIW, I moved into Trilogy six months ago after having lived at other luxury apartments downtown. The building itself is pretty good, although it's more luxur-ish than luxury. (The cabinets are "cherry look" laminate, not cherry; the kitchen "wood" floor is Pergo; the windows are cheap; etc.) It's "the nicest quality you can still find at Home Depot". The finish level is slightly lower than, but comparable to, Watermark or Archstone Boston Common. The concierge staff has been very friendly; there's nobody who's rude, but some (especially Dan and John) are definitely more attentive than others. (We actually had an amazing guy, Ed Welik, who sadly passed away a few months ago; you may have met his trainee replacement.) Likewise, the maintenance staff is great and incredibly personable. I, too,expected Fenway to be a big problem; I hate crowds and traffic. I wouldn't suggest driving anywhere between 4 and 6 on game days, but other than that, it's not bad. The noise isn't really an issue; there's some honking, but honestly I hear more honking from parents picking up kids at the movie theater. Yes, there was some noise after the World Series, but how often is that gonna happen? The neighborhood isn't sketchy, but neither is it inspiring. Samuels (Trilogy, 1330 Boylston) and Abbey Group (Landmark Center) have actually done a great job of spiffing it up over the past few years, with a good retail mix, and Samuels has been buying up other chunks of real estate along Brookline Ave. I think in 5-10 years it will be much nicer. The empty stretch of car repair shops on Boylston makes it feel a bit lonely on that side, though. And certainly, having a 24/7 Star Market across the street (even a pathetically small one) is wonderful. The big reason I'm moving before the end of my lease is noise; specifically, ambulances. I work from home, and usually in silence, so I'm very sensitive to it. Trilogy is down the block from five hospitals and two paramedic/EMS stations, which serve the whole Back Bay. Every single ambulance must pass right by Trilogy to get there and back. At times, they're passing every 3 to 6 minutes. It's maddening. It's not bad at night; you won't notice it if you work elsewhere. Just something to consider. read more

Trilogy has exceeded my expectations since I moved in here a couple years ago. Fellow Yelpers have criticized the staff but I've had nothing but good experiences. A staff member named Nick even helped me mount my 50 inch flat screen the first week I moved in. Pros: Granite Countertops Central Air Washer/Dryers in each unit Private gym Courtyard Proximity to Public Transpo Proximity to Fenway Park Chipotle & Starbucks Downstairs! Cons: - My neighbor plays the grand piano sometimes early in the morning (who allows someone with a grand piano in a rental?) - Traffic during the Sox games can be tough but I plan around it Overall I'm really happy living here in Trilogy. Trilogy is one of those up and coming new 'one stop' apartment complexes with a few shops and a huge garage (all the rage w/ the baby boomers). This is for the Trilogy Parking garage, I LOVE it. They charge $10. for the day if you get in before 9am (I am not sure what the cost if you get in later) and leave before 5 or 6pm. They have a little kiosk on the ground floor that accepts credit cards and cash, or if you 'forget' to pay there, you can insert a credit card into another machine at the exit gate. how convenient. My car feels safe and happy here. read more

Unreasonably posh for people who have far too much money to waste on luxury rentals. My friend has an apartment here and it is ridiculously nice, but for almost 4k a month it better be. I am planning on moving closer to the downtown area, and am looking at luxury apartments that include all the amenities. I was not too keen on checking out Trilogy because I had heard bad things, and think leaving that close to Fenway would be CRAZY on game days (if one has to get up early the next day for work). BUT, I thought, "Let's at least check it out" Right? So I scour the website, looks good, apartments are expensive, but seems like a good amount of square footage. Maybe. The amenities sound nice, and I think it would be great to be able to walk on a nice sunny day right into Back Bay/Newbury St. HOWEVER, I can't find any information on the leasing office or when they are open. All they have is an area for you to put your contact information in, and I didnt want to do that. So, I think..."Well, I'll call and see what their voicemail says. It must have the times." So I get a message all in Spanish. "That can't be right" I think to myself and call back. English this time, but NO HOURS LISTED! So this should have been my first clue. So I guess...hey, it's Saturday, most places open at 10am. I'll just pop in. Okay, this is small thing, and I know it's a bit trivial. But there is no "Future Resident Parking" area there. So you have to drive around and around and find parking on the street and feed the meter, or pay to park in the Best Buy parking across the street. Second clue/strike against them. I go in to the lobby. It's after ten and the girl for the leasing office has not arrived yet. What!? So I go across the street to Best Buy to waste some time. 30 minutes later (its now after 10:30) I go back and the super friendly security people (sarcasm) tell me she is STILL not in, nor has she called. So they gave me her card, tell me the office closes at 3pm on Saturdays and then proceeded to ignore us. No one in the rental office to help anyone when they should be open. Three strikes!!! Fine, let's go shopping, and come back. So I decide, partly to be a bitch, because I didnt appreciate the service I had already received, to call at 2:30 and see if I can get an appointment to view an apartment at 3:00pm. LOL!! (Evil grin) I finally get a hold of Kendra (wonder when she actually showed up to work?) who tells says "Well, uh.....uhm....hmmm. Well what were you looking for?" "I need a one bedroom, for mid April. I know it's early to look, but I was curious about the building." "What is your price range?" Kendra asks. "Maxium...$2400" I say "Well...uh....hmmmm....I don't know. Well, I dont have a one bedroom model to show" she says. Which I'm thinking...she doesnt want to stay past 3pm to show me an apartment...right?! So then she says "I can show you the building" And I'm thinking "Well Ive already seen the lobby since I waited half an hour for you to show up. What else are you going to show me, the gym and the parking garage" And then she tells me " Well maybe you should call back closer to April" Thanks Kendra and Trilogy for your super attentive customer service. I'll take my money to a different apartment community, with better service and more attentive employers...like the WaterMark in Cambridge. And this whole time I'm thinking "If it's like this to just look at an apartment, imagine the level of service you must get once you move in. Ghastly I'm sure!!" read more

Probably the worst service I have ever had for a hotel or apt booking. Even though they had our booking, the room was ready, they made up sit in the lobby for 40 mins. It was 4pm and we needed to be at a show for work- Told that as it was booked though Expedia they didn't care and we had to wait. Receptionist beyond the rude. Situation was ridiculous. DO NOT live here if you are a professional or have a family. The residents of this building have made this a less than desirable place to live. I could write books about the issues with this building, but here's a quick summary: -spoiled rich college kids partying at all hours (the walls are very thin) -foreigners with no respect for their fellow residents (essentially most residents are temporary and dont treat like a home) -residents leave garbage anywhere and everywhere (empty coffee cups, etc) -smokers disobey the rules and smoke in the courtyard and In doorways to the building -our private patio was vandalized 3 times in one month by fellow residents and management couldn't do anything to protect us -the hallways, lobby and elevator constantly smell of garbage -if you live in 150 or 1365 there's no concierge so for three years our guests or food delivery would have to call us to come down and let them in since the concierge at 180 never seems to be there to answer the buzzer -the plumbing is terrible, for three straight years suds and water from apartments above us overflow and soak our apartment, management has not been able to repair this -residents from the apartment above us apparently removed their window screens and their kids threw all kinds of items out the window onto our patio (luckily we were never hit by these items) -the foreigners that live here do not watch their children. There are 5 yr old kids running around the hallways, courtyard and common areas after midnight, usually screaming. It has only gotten worse as time has gone on. So unless you are a college student whose parents have money to burn or a middle easterner with money to burn who doesnt want to watch their kids and let them loose in the building, I would not recommend living here. My wife and I have lived here for a little over 11 months and this place has been nothing but one disaster after another. To give you some perspective, we are both 30 year old medical residents nearing the completion of our training. Despite the allure of "luxury" living trilogy entices people with, this building promises to be nothing more than an overpriced, trashy college dorm. The first day we tried to move in, there was not a single staff member to hand us our keys. Instead we were met with confused concierge that thought it was funny that we had movers waiting for us to have the doors open while we waited in the lobby. Our neighbors have largely consisted of spoiled college brats who's parents have paid large sums of money for them to smoke weed, booze up the hallways and party well till 3AM in the morning. In the winter, because nearly every other apartment has a smoker that thinks it's a great idea to light up indoors, we all get to share in the second hand smoke that wafts through our interconnected and defunct air vents. The result: our clothes, furniture, and towels wreak of cigarettes. My asthmatic wife has the pleasure of getting up at 1:30 in the morning to request concierge to have the smoking stopped. The "business" lounge is comprised of loud and obnoxious foreigners that think reading and studying equates to making loud jokes and slapping each other on the back. I could go on but I will get back to packing for our expedited move from this place. We have three weeks left but looking at the packed boxes give us respite that this "luxury" living won't haunt us much longer. If you are a young professional, particularly a medical professional in the Longwood area, I'd HIGHLY suggest you look elsewhere. Unless you have grotesquely rich parents and have a hankering for booze and loud music at midnight, STAY AWAY! read more

Summary: this "luxury" building needs to step it up asap to make the cost of rent worthwhile. Unfortunately, when you tell them about these problems, they tell you that you can move to another apartment rather than fixing them. Unclear why the rent here is higher than luxury buildings in the symphony and backbay areas which are superior neighborhoods (note: ATT = no cell phone reception in the building, need Verizon to get reception, not sure about other cellphone carriers) read more

I lived in Trilogy for 1 year and was not particularly impressed. Bottom line: look elsewhere before spending the money to live at Trilogy. The good: Close to the T. Quality of construction/appliances was good Responsive to maintenance requests The bad: Parking and traffic during Sox games is a nightmare The management and concierge staff are incompetent but mean well The building is full of busy medical people and rich BU grad students (why else would you pay that much to live in that neighborhood?). The students contribute to a dorm-like atmosphere, playing loud music at night etc The gym is okay, but not as nice as I've had in other luxury buildings. They deducted $180 from our deposit for no particular reason when we moved out without informing us. Some people like the neighborhood. I have stayed here for 6 years. Disregarding the fact that it is overpriced, it is an okay apartment building. There are a lot of middle eastern people here. They can be unruly kids running around in the lobby or middle aged men sitting around in the lobby all day out of nothing better to do. Also college kids party here and it gets loud during red sox season. The reason i gave it 1 star is because of this douchebag called Dan who works as a doorman at the front desk. He pretends to be nice to you with a fake smile but he is actually an asshole. He is rude to people who he thinks are non-residents and mocks people because he thinks he is the shit. I seriously dont recommend living here unless he gets fired. read more

FTT has a great location, but the building is overpriced, noisy, overpriced, vibration-prone, overpriced, and showing signs of age (eg frequent appliance breakdowns). And did I mention it's overpriced? The owner, Samuels, is currently (2013) constructing a 15 story building a block away, and is about to start work on a 22 story building next door. Meanwhile the Army Corp of Engineers is "daylighting" the Muddy River (a block away), which will take two years and cause traffic re-routing. This neighborhood is going to be a dusty, noisy, vibration-inducing construction zone until about 2015. I'm looking forward to moving when my lease is up. read more

DISGUSTING! NO STARS! I stayed here when I was dropping my 17 year old off at Berklee College of Music for the summer program. We chose this space because of the refrigerator and concierge since I have multiple sclerosis and have medicine that needs refrigeration and plenty of rest when I feel bad. Boy was I HORRIFIED!!! We couldn't even find the front desk since the address Churchill gives you is on the back side of the building and you need your key to access it (the key was in the apartment, we were told during the process of reserving the suite). When we finally found the front side, by sheer luck and they led us to our room, we noticed an odor worse than any dirty diaper or vomit from any of my children wafting down the hallway. There are no windows in any of the corridors so breathing in this stench after 11 hours of travel was disgusting. After passing the dirty sneakers that were lined up in front of our neighbor's door, we were let inside. Here is an itemized list of what was wrong inside: 1. The floors were buckling and we all tripped on them on our way in 2. Both televisions did not work and both remotes had no batteries. THE WHOLE TWO NIGHT STAY! 3. The wifi did not work (another reason we chose this place. We have kids! What do you do with kids and no tv or wifi in a strange city?!) 4. There was a long black curly hair in my bed (I am blonde and straight haired), the sheets smelled like burnt hair and the pillows crunched like they were covered in plastic wrap. I had to wash my sheets before sleeping in my bed; at midnight. 5. There were towels wrapped in plastic (towel, hand towel, and wash cloth sets) like I would receive in the hospital to shower. They had zero absorbency so we all sort of air dried ourselves, since there are no hair dryers either. 6. The walls were paper thin and you could hear everyone walk down the hallway. 7. The courtyard became a playground at any given hour (probably since there was no wifi or tv!) I wrote the Churchill Suites and they responded by saying they would refund us $75. The room was $400/night and the parking is $36 a day, or $45 on a game night (which we were) so that didn't even reimburse us for the parking fees we were not pre-warned about. I wrote again and explained all that had been wrong and why we deserved a better refund if not a full one. I received no response to that email, nor did I receive any refund. Not one dime. The apartment is conveniently located, but fully reflected on the rent price. Concierge and other staff members are wonderful, but the management office staff are not even close to the standards you expect from this rent price. I would recommend the apartment if you can afford it, but be prepared for the hassle of setting things up yourself. For example, not getting your copy of the rental agreement until 3 months after signing, utilities application not getting through even though you filled it out twice etc etc. Just don't believe the "You're all set" and make sure you get in touch with whoever yourself. As an update (Aug 2010), significant changes have been made in the management area and has greatly improved. Now this apartment has very few cons so I am raising the recommendation rating. Update (July 2011) My deposit refund has not been made yet. I have moved out 2 months ago. The interest that was supposed to have accumulated on the deposit doesn't exist either. This place is a scam and I am so happy that I have moved out. Inconsiderate residents now fill most of the rooms and the management is run by extremely useless people who can't even write a check with the correct spelling. Apalling. I am so happy to have moved out. People BEWARE! The only good out of this place is the concierge and the maintenance staff. read more

I have lived at Fenway Triangle Trilogy apartments for 2.5 years now. Originally, I was very happy about living here. The staff was friendly and helpful and the building was kept immaculately. Unfortunately, over the last six months or so, things have changed dramatically. My biggest complaint is with the upkeep of the building. I used to be proud to bring people over but now the carpets in the elevators and hallways are stained, the furniture in the common areas is stained, the walls are marked and chipped, and the glass and stainless steel doors are covered with hand prints. The lobby regularly smells of garbage, especially on the weekends. They even stopped the delivery of fresh flowers to the lobby and refuse to turn on the air-conditioning in the lobby areas. Aside from appearances, the newer members of the staff, especially the concierge staff, are not very helpful or courteous. And clearly, the cleaning staff has either been cut in half or they are doing a much poorer job. For the amount of money that we are paying, we have seen buildings with much higher standards of living in better locations (Back Bay, South End). I would not recommend living here at this point. It is a decent apartment building but it no longer lives up to the luxury name or the luxury price tag. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

I moved in last year and my experience here has been and still is amazing. I moved out from an exquisite 2bed/2bath luxury apartment which was located it in the heart of one of the most famous Northern California the city, so I was not very happy about moving into Boston, but a great job opportunity brought my husband and I to the opposite coast. Knowing that winters can be brutal out here, we decided to rent an apartment, so we don't have to shovel or deal with the snow over our cars every morning. We did look for apartments downtown, but our need for a great work out place/gym, quick access to freeways, good running paths and our dependence for healthy food direct us more into back bay / fens/ Fenway area. We are a young professional couple looking for a dynamic environment to live in. We checked a lots of 2bed/2bath in the area, but the vast majority of layouts in the area were completely inefficient with the use of space, not to mention that they were over priced for the amenities, security and environment they offer. I am a civil engineer and my husband is an Healthcare IT professional, so an efficient use of space, huge windows, nice city views, security, immaculate open spaces and other young professional (our neighbors) make our day and our work better. After checking about 10 different places, we end up in the Trilogy building. We loved the place immediately, we found what a lot of places in Boston do not even offer such as underground parking with direct access to the building, fast running elevators, energy efficient amenities, security cameras and staff, FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDGEABLE and PROACTIVE staff. Now that our lease is about to end, my husband is working in Settle 4 days a week, so he commutes each week Settle-Boston to spend time with me, but instated of thinking to move again, we considering to renew our least for an extra year. That extra year will allow us to look for a condo (Trilogy alike) in the area. We strongly believe that our desire to purchase something in Boston is based in our good experience in Trilogy. read more

Do not live here!! Where do I begin, When you visit this place is sold as luxury and quiet (3 noise complaints and the tenant may be evicted, which proved to be a lie) Moved in and the hallway carpets are a mess! They have food, trash and dog poop! Yes,, the owners leave their dog poop on the hallway with no care in the world! Smells disgusting, and its unsanitary Noise: Kids run through the halways all day long ( undestandibly it is a family building) BUT they run, scream and play with their scooters till 2 am!!!! The concierge comes up when called, but is never able to find the children. I complained to management and of course did nothing, this has been going on for more than 6 months, these children have no respect, neither does management. Some concierges are mean and basically told me to deal with it because it is a family unit. Fire alarms: Be prepared to leave your house at least 2 times per month at all hours for false fire alarms, some months up to 6 times, from 8 pm to 2 am, it is ridiculous!!! And management's solution, sending an email asking no to cook and open the door!!!!! Yeah, because that has proven to work! And after the firemen have come and gone the sound will still be in your apartment for another 30 min. Your sleep is definetly not valued here! Management: the manager is very unfriendly and does not care if you stay or leave. Any complaints you have will be ignored. As for their job, lazy is the word! My first month here I got an eviction notice because someone did not check that I indeed payed my rent. And of couse I was very upset and called the managers from samuels and associates with no answer, when the manager finally decided to show up didnt even spologize for their mistake. Packages: a friend came to leave some food products because they where traveling, they where left with the concierge, and magically disapeared! They played the card that the food was rotten and thrown away, like it was their decision to make! Overall the apartments are nice, too expensive for what you have to deal with I would definetly not recommend this building read more

I love living in Trilogy. After years of having absent landlords, the 24-hour maintenance help is amazing; they will come to tighten faucets and replace lightblubs anytime day or night, which is really great. The bathrooms are huge and in-unit laundry is practically an known here in Boston. Central Air and walk-in closets are an added plus. In terms of noise and neighborhood cleanliness, it's your typical city experience. The Red Sox games are a non-issue (the crowds are usually gone by 11) and the rest of the time the neighborhood is pretty tame. I took 1 star off of my rating because of the price... it's a little steep and only affordable because I can walk to work. In this case, though, I think you get what you pay for. read more

For $2700 a month, we get the pleasure of having cigarette smoke pouring through our vents (b/c apparently smoking inside and polluting our air is acceptable), college kid parties waking us up in the night, and plenty of hidden charges once you decide not to renew your lease for obvious reasons. Don't be fooled--this is not a place for young professionals. Rich college kids abound. This apartment building, albeit with fabulous concierge folks, is not worth 1/5 of what we are paying and cannot wait for our lease to run out. read more

I have been living at the Trilogy buildings for the past year and we are considering moving out at the end of our lease for the following reasons: 1. There is a lot of outside noise from the street (ambulance, police, traffic and game night crowds) 2. During the warm months, the building and the garage smells like garbage 3. The "luxury" finishes of the house are breaking up constantly and you will become good friends with the maintenance man. 4. Parking is very difficult on game nights and in the mornings 5. The common room is not so common after all. It is eternally occupied by a particular group of foreigners who lurk there from early in the afternoon until very late at night. They are only males, eat, drink, are barefoot with their feet on the furniture and shoes all over the place, yell, have screaming children with them until late at night and when they finally leave, the room and the corridors are very dirty and smelly. 6. Unattended children are running and screaming in the corridors constantly and when you talk to them they will pretend not to understand English 7. Smoke is coming in the apartments from the central ventilation system, so we are exposed to second hand smoking. 8. We have informed the building management for all of the above reasons several times, out of which they replied only once with a two month delay and of course they did not do anything about it. So before you move into the Fenway Trilogy visit the common room in the evening and and hang out for a while, so you can discover what really awaits you here! read more

My wife and I are both physicians who work in the Longwood area, and have lived in Trilogy 3 for years, and we've decided to move because frankly the cost is just too high for what you get in return. We lived in the 1365 building, and basically, the occupants consist of two main groups--young professionals and spoiled college students. The young professionals were what we expected and desired in this highly serviced apartment building; the bratty college students were an unexpected, and highly undesired side effect. They tend to sprall-out in the common area like it's a dormatory, run through the halls, vandalize (we had a holiday wreath stolen off of our door) and blast music and play video games at full blast late at night. We currently have a group in the apartment above ours, and basically have to call the concierge on a regular basis to ask them turn down the bass on the video games they play at midnight on weeknights. The apartments themselves are new, and thus fairly clean and modern-appearing. Of course, after you move in you realize that much of the construction was done on the cheap. In our first apartment, the dishwasher was incorrectly connected and leaked under the kitchen floor when we first moved in, leaving us unable to use the kitchen for the first few weeks. Our second apartment had all kinds of problems, including a refrigerator that didn't work, a dryer that didn't work, and cabinets that were broken. The staff was fairly responsive once we raised these issues to the managers (it did take a little bit of stomping and anger to get them to act--they initially suggested we move the perishable stuff into a common refrigerator down on the 2nd floor for the weekend). Our windows still leak when it rains, and every few months something malfunctions in the apartment (the toilet breaks, the cabinet doors fall off, etc.). Other significant negatives include having Comcast as the only option for cable/internet (hands down the worst company I've ever dealt with), loud noise from being in the Fenway, and a fire alarm that seems to go off regularly at 2AM (we eventually stopped responding since it happened so often, even though we acknowledge it's not exactly the safest since this place probably wouldn't last long in a real fire). The main positive is that there are very few relatively new and clean buildings in the Fenway area, and many of the Brownstone apartments are even more ludicrously priced than this one. The rental company knows that demand is high, and they have been fairly consistent about being unwilling to bend at all on rent prices, even after you've established yourself as a reliable tenant. They actually told us that they were only willing to offer discounts to new tenants, not to returning ones. In short, they realize that it's difficult to move once you've settled in an apartment, and thus proceed to jack up the rent on you once you've moved in. All in all, if you have a lot of money, and can buy your way out of any problem, then this might be the place for you. Some Red Sox players have lived here, and apparently, the management is very good about bending over to large bank accounts. If you're a resident physician as we were, or you don't have unlimited funds, then you're going to be frustrated living here because you'll only be treated as well as your willing to pay money for service. The staff is responsive, but they're going to be more responsive to the large dollar tenants who tip them separately for every service that you thought you were getting when you paid about 1000 dollars more for rent that anywhere else in the area, and so you'll probably find yourself isolated and frustrated at the lack of response to problems. You should also be aware that even if you can manage a good deal for rent on moving in, you're unlikely to be able to afford to stay in your apartment since they'll probably raise the rent by 300-500 dollars a month when you look to renew. It was hard for us to give up the location being close to work, and to the Fenway and all the fun stuff here, but eventually, you can only be pushed so far. If you're a resident or fellow physician and are considering this place to live, I'd strongly recommend you search elsewhere or consider a change in career to something in finance. read more

Always lots of people in common area, TV room, smoking cigarettes, smoking drugs, being loud and obnoxious until 3-4AM on weekdays and management seems to only care about getting the rent paid on time. Trilogy could be a great place to live, however, the tenant selection is awful. Despite building rules that prohibit loud noises in the courtyard, it's often full of unsupervised children screaming their heads off. After frequent complaints, Trilogy has become much better at closing the courtyard down after 10 PM so everyone on the courtyard side can get some sleep. However, often, these children (and their mothers, who sit in a different section of the courtyard and can't be be bothered to watch their kids), just sneak back out and we have to call the concierge again. It's not that we're bad people or don't like children, it's just that it's almost impossible to sleep with 20 kids running around yelling outside your window. The concierges have been uniformly polite and understanding, but I think they are powerless to actually fix the problem, and the building's management doesn't seem willing to [having apparently taken no efforts to a) lock the doors to the courtyard, or b) revoke courtyard access for tenants in violation of building rules, etc.]. Talking to the concierges, I know this is a pretty constant problem as they have referenced the volume of noise complaints they get about the courtyard almost every time I speak with them. The neighborhood is actually becoming very nice, and we love being close to Yard House and the Peterborough restaurants. read more

DO NOT LIVE HERE! Trust me! The leasing office does not care about the residents at all. It is full of second hand leased apartments (churchill). Tons of Saudis, Kuwaitis, Qataris and Emirates. Women covered from head to toe. They converted an apartment on the 6th floor for a prayer room/meeting room. I feel bad for anyone who has to live on that floor. read more

I have been living here for about 6 months. This place has gone down hill. I would visit years back when I had other friends in the building. Those days are gone. Sorry, let me rephrase. This place is a zoo. A zoo. The lobby is constantly packed with men who are here for medical needs and claim they don't speak English. There is a smell of garbage in most hallways. Good-luck getting to the gym. The common areas are packed with children and women who cover themselves from head to toe. The security are nice people but are constantly stressed and tired. They can't stop the chaos. Management claims to have a 3 strike policy but they never kick anyone out. They also claim not to accept undergraduates, but half the building is full of college kids or foreigners. Save your money, look elsewhere. Don't live here unless you want to have kids running around constantly and trash everywhere. I come home from work and I can't get a bit of peace and quietness and we pay almost $4,000 a month with my wife. Make sure to ask about the chaos if you do take a tour however. Enjoy the mobs of men smoking outside the building as well! Save your money and avoid the animals who live here! read more
