Breakfast burrito
Greg B.

I used to work in Sussex, so I drove past Belfast Station often when I had to go to Menomonee Falls for something after work. My family and I finally stopped to try their breakfast after purchasing a discount coupon. I had the breakfast burrito with sausage gravy on the side instead of on top, my wife and youngest kid shared pancakes, and my oldest kid got the bacon and egg sandwich with potatoes. We also ordered bone-in wings with cajun rub since we were told we could do that as well during breakfast hours. All around the meal was meh. The pancakes were dry and slightly overcooked, the eggs in my burrito were burned, the wings were on the dry side and didn't have much heat in the rub. Only my oldest kid thought his bacon and egg sandwich was worth the visit. There's things I want to try on the dinner menu, but I'm hesitant to go back given how this experience went when we were one of only two tables that even had diners.

Irish Nachos The menu said it was waffle fries but this is what we got

Hated the ordering system. We sat at a dirty table and ordered from our phone, food and drinks. They brought the appetizer out with our sandwiches. The guy apologized saying that's just how the food came out. The food was good it just seemed impersonal. Had to go to the bar to ask for things like to go boxes and glasses of water. I think this place is a bar that also serves food, when I was expecting it to be more of a restaurant.

My visit to Belfast Station felt like a whole experience. My husband & I went for dinner on a Friday night and it was great for dinner. The house specialties are very good, and definitely Irish! We sat by the dining area and the atmosphere that the fireplace brought was amazing. My favorite thing was the Old Fashioned I ordered, and trying an Irish dish with corned beef. Quite a charm spot in Sussex!

We were so thrilled to find this gem of a place to stop by on our bike ride today. The wait staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We enjoyed a couple of beers, the wonton mozzarella sticks and pizza. Our appetizer came out quickly and so did our pizza. Great atmosphere. Come on a Saturday or Sunday morning and get free funnel fries with your breakfast order. Definitely a must to check out if you hike the bugline trail.

Best cheese curds in the area! I also had a delicious chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun. Loved the atmosphere and the service was excellent.

Got a thin crust pizza for takeout tonight. The crust is amazing - perfect! Definitely the best pizza in the area!

I absolutely loved this very authentic Irish pub! It made me feel like I was back in Dublin! First,…read morethey carry the very difficult to find and absolutely delicious Kilkenny beer! It is a place where you can sit at the bar and chat comfortably with friendly people, and somewhere around 9 PM, the live Irish music will begin. Definitely worth a stop.

I haven't had dinner here in several years, and today was my first time in for brunch. I ordered…read morethe Irish Breakfast with eggs over easy (although they were cooked over medium), and Bubble & Squeak as my potato choice, which is fried mashed potatoes with cabbage and bacon, yet I didn't see or taste cabbage or bacon inside. The other components of the dish included fried bangers (sausages), black & white pudding (blood sausage & pork), baked beans, sauteed mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, bacon, and another small puck of sausage, as well as brown bread and butter. It was a great value with some items I liked and some I didn't due to personal preference, not because anything wasn't prepared well, as it all appeared to be cooked properly. My girlfriend ordered the Celtic Grilled Cheese with bacon, arugula, aged white cheddar, aioli, grilled tomatoes on toasted sourdough. Her sandwich looked amazing, and I regret not asking for a bite. That may be a future order for me. She loved it! I also ordered the County Clare Bloody Mary, which is made with their own seasoning blend and served with a chaser of Harp beer. They asked me how spicy I wanted it, and I said medium, which I think they nailed. This was one of the best Bloodies I've had in town! Overall, a nice brunch experience with good service and a great ambience. I do want to return to try more brunch items.

I Yelped bourbon bars, and found Erin's Snug just down the street from our hotel. I had hoped to have corned beef and cabbage, but was told they were out. Ugh. So I settled for a Reuben. (I looked at him quizzically when he told me they could still make this, but he said the corned beef was prepared a different way. It was kind of shredded.) This wasn't optimal for my low-carb diet, but I pulled off most of the bread and went with it. It was okay, but not great. Kind of disappointing. My Maker's Mark Manhattan, on the other hand, was quite tasty. My husband had the stew, and said it was very good. It came with a large piece of bread on top, maybe soda bread, and was served in a large bowl, Other than the bartender making a joke about how they wouldn't put the Bears game on because this was Packers country (as it turns out, he's from Buffalo), and being oddly out of corned beef and cabbage, the evening was nice.
