Stopped by on a referral and maybe something changed but it was not good. Meatball and Chicken Parm Sandwiches. Staple food for any restaurant like this. Sauce was tasteless and barely coated the sandwich, very little cheese on parm sandwiches. Meatball was very strange and cutlets were cooked in old oil for sure. Everything tasted like mush. I get that it is a Wednesday night but it was very disappointing. $34 for 2 sandwiches that all but a few bites went in the garbage. Live and learn I guess. read more

Ordered cx Alfredo. Took an hour. It was penne Alfredo with a couple of overdone c cutlets thrown on top. The cx was not cut up and after sawing for 5 minutes I called the owner (which I never do). He offered to replace the food (I've now been waiting 1 1/2 hours) and then had the nerve to tell me to give the other food back to the driver! Seriously? You're just going to throw it away anyway. So I threw it all back in the greasy bag and put it on the porch where the driver (who we tipped $4) originally left our meal without even bothering to knock. I will NEVER go back there and we live right down the road and frequented the establishment. Word to the wise Mr owner, when you screw up don't ask for the food back that you're just gonna throw away anyway. read more

This was my first visit to Ferati's. It was a Saturday at 3:30pm after a hike. I ordered a slice and the Ferati's Special sandwich which has spicy chicken, peppers, onions, mushrooms etc. The slice was super thin and basic but many people prefer that. The "small" sandwich's covered the whole plate. I enjoyed my very thick and hot meal while watching traffic and listening to neighboring conversations. This sandwich made me smile. read more

It's a nice small quiet place. It has street parking. I went in ordered 4 slices of Pizza and had a Bottled Soda from their stand up refrigerator. They have a small Counter Top with Bar Stools and 4 small tables. The Pizza is GREAT!!! And then I had some GREAT Garlic Knots. Everyone in Butler knows about this place & it's always busy. It's So Much Better Than AJ's!!! I HIGHLY recommend it. read more

I would love to give this a 5 star because the staff is very nice and accommodating . Which is why I'm still giving it a 4 not a 3 star . My main issue has always been the pasta dinners . I've tried with red sauce and without. The pasta dinners always have lots of water in the pasta . I've even mentioned it when ordering please make sure they drain the past well before saucing it . We're continuing our mission to find the best Margherita pizza in North Jersey! Recently, we tried Ferati's Pizza in Butler, NJ. We ordered their 18 inch Margherita pie, a thin Sicilian, and a small peperoni pie. First, the customer service here was five stars. We arrived to pick up the pies but had to wait a good 20 minutes after waiting another 25 minutes before driving to pick it up. We weren't ignored; both guys at the counter kept checking in and updating us. After paying, they gave us a free 2 liter soda for waiting so long. Most pizza spots we've visited so far could care less if we wait or not; this just shows you how much customer service matters. Up first, the Margherita pie: the fresh mozzarella was perfect, the crust was not too think, not too thin, and the sauce had a nice taste especially with the fresh basil. The only issue with this pie - canned plum tomatoes. If they used fresh plum tomatoes on this pie it would've grabbed first place as our favorite Margherita pie, thus far. Overall, we would would try it again since everything else was cooked perfectly and the right ingredients were used. The thin Sicilian - nothing special; your ordinary Sicilian pie, sauce, cheese, but the crust was a bit soggy which hurts it rating our of the three. The peperoni pie was an equal to our favorite so far - Danny's Pizza in Bloomingdale. Both pies have a very similar taste with a slight edge to Danny's due to their crust. But Ferati's pie was very good and definitely worth another try - it wasn't greasy; cheese was melted perfect, the crust wasn't too thick or thin with a nice soft middle. Overall, 4 stars to Ferati's due to their caring attitude and a pretty damn good Margherita pie! Great job guys! read more

Awesome pizza! I recently ordered several pies, a gluten free pizza and Mac & cheese bites for my daughters bday. The food was delivered on time and piping hot. Excellent cheese pizza with a great taste. The Mac and cheese bites were crazy delicious! The gf pizza was perfectly cooked and even came with its own cutter. This is my favorite pizza place. The foods always so fresh, the service is always so friendly and fast, and the owner is one of the nicest guys I've ever met. This is a great community pizza spot, but their meals are excellent, my dad lives the shrimp parm, I love the eggplant parm, or penne vodka, the food is so great. This place does get super busy on Friday and Saturday nights so your best bet at a quick delivery is is there mid day or midweek, but it's well worth the wait! read more

I just had the worst meal ever from a local pizzeria. I ordered the Chicken Cacciatore because it sounded like a nice meal on a cold night. When it arrived in less than 30 minutes, I knew it couldn't be anything great. But when I tasted it, I was angered to no avail. My order asked for extra potatos and mushrooms. There were no extra mushrooms and not one piece of potato. NONE. The sauce was watery and bland. The pasta was days old ( it broke into pieces when I pierced it with my fork) and the two pieces of chicken breast, paper thin and overcooked, was inedible. Had our first meal from Ferati's tonight and we were quite pleased. We ordered a simple Sicilian pie and a cold antipasto for a first order. Picked the food up and it came piping hot right out of the oven. The restaurant is nothing to write home about as far as ambiance is concerned, it isn't even air conditioned, but the food was first rate. We loved the pie, and the salad was full of fresh ingredients. This was our trial order, and since they did a really nice job on this meal we are surely going to try something else next time. read more

I would have to agree with Roy. I used to live in the area and was passing through recently and decided to stop for a couple of slices and catch up with the old owners. It wasn't until I read Roy's review that I realized it was under new ownership. In fact, I looked on Yelp only after eating the slices and realizing they were not the same quality. The pizza here used to be much better, slices were bigger, pizza was better quality. Not only that, but it cost me nearly 7 dollars for two specialty slices. That's a lot of money especially considering they say that each slice should be $2.25 according to their prices on the board in the front of the shop. Also, three of the eight combo meals are no longer being offered which indicates to me that their menu has been compromised. Needless to say, no longer living in the area, I will not be returning to this establishment. read more
