This review is for a takeout order. Solid plain pie, very good garlic knots, and pretty good cannoli (a little sweet for my taste). Would order again.

I stood by the counter and no one looked at me. Finally one of the kids asked me if he could help me. Picked up my meatball parm and went home. Paid two extra dollars for garlic bread, and two extra dollars for extra cheese. I do not believe there was extra cheese, and for two dollars, I should have NO doubts there was extra cheese. There wasn't really even enough cheese on it for there to have been a regular parmesan sandwich. So that 13 dollar sandwich became a 17 dollar sandwich. I do not think that was a good deal. And I do not believe that it was served on garlic bread. I've had lots of garlic bread, and I can always tell it's garlic bread, mostly because it tastes like garlic. I actually forgot we ordered it on garlic bread until my last bite, which was all bread, and I noticed the distinct lack of garlic. Also missing were some meatballs. There were perhaps four or maybe five small meatballs on this 10 inch roll. It was very sparse. The sauce was good. Overall, not very impressed with this place. It was a poor first impression. I suggest training the people who work there to greet customers as soon as they walk in. Just have someone yell "Hello, we'll be right with you!". Or give a smile and a nod toward the counter. or SOMETHING. I know margins are slim at a restaurant, but maybe put an extra meatball in the sandwich, and some extra cheese on if you're going to charge two dollars for extra cheese. Don't think I'll be going back.

Solid flavor, good structure, no sad, floppy regrets. Once I try it hot, I might have to upgrade this review because I can already tell it's heading there. Service was straight to the point. Pizza guy had me in and out, no small talk, no life story, just pizza. Some people want a full Broadway performance with their slice... I'm here for the food, not the monologue. Didn't explore past the showcase, but from the front everything looked clean, organized, and no red flags flying. Simple spot, doing what it's supposed to do. Cold today. Hot next time. Either way, it's already heating up.

GIRL SAYS $79.35!!!!…read moreAfter asking about the inordinately high price I come to find out that they only put in 4 raviolis per order. I said, it should be six like every other Italian restaurant in the entire US does. Then the smiling con job lady says, oh no it's always been 4 raviolis. Having been born and raised and lived most of my life in NJ I know very well every Italian restaurant puts 6 raviolis in each serving, just like i just got at one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the area. I told him about the 4 raviolis and he laughed. I told him about the $79.35 for 2 orders and he laughed louder! I've had problems at bonijello before but it's been awhile and I was at DD and wanted some raviolis so I tried them again. And again it's a problem. Food here isn't as good as they think it is. Prices are high because somebody has to pay for their beach house. Judging from the tan on the head grifters face she's been in the beach quite a lot already this season Find another place to go where you get what you pay for and are treated civilly.

I ordered a few things...my usuals when testing out a new place. Eggplant Parm, Eggplant Rolletini, fried calamari with fried shrimp and something called a Lent dish, which was rigatoni, a few shrimps in a cream/garlic sauce. The prices were excellent and so were portions. The shrimp in the Lent dish were decent size but had the tails on, so that means handling shrimp with sauce in your hands. Otherwise it was tasty. Both the eggplant dishes were quite good, as is their sauce. I just wished there was more cheese on top. Other than that both were nice and I'd order again. Calamari/shrimp was also good with nice sized butterflied shrimp. My main issue was packaging. I felt like removing stars for this (but didn't). The delivery driver arrived at my front door, and even though I had selected the option to leave it there, he rang the bell and waited. I guess I'm glad he did because my 5 containers were just handed to me individually. No bag. Not even a box...which I really don't like anyway. Then I saw most were in those metal tins with the clear plastic tops that crimp on. Half were crushed, and you know those were the eggplant entrees with the melted cheese. This was a big issue and could be a reason why I'd pause before ordering again. That's a shame because food and price wise they're a winner.

We came to find out it had recently changed hands . What a change. We called at 5:15 before the Saturday rush. 1 hour later , no dinner. Clerk was all apologetic saying it just went out . Driver should be there shortly. 2 and 1/2 hours later . We received our order for no charge. It was awful, not even edible. The mozzarella cheese on my salad had gone bad. The pasta with shrimp was very gritty and tasted like cement. My friends Caesar salad was mushy and her entree was missing chicken , mushrooms and other vegetables. Needless to say I highly recommend you avoid this restaurant .

Great pizza! and entrees when we ordered on occasion were good too, until bout 6 months ago. Then we found out there was new owners and cook and that explained it! The pizza is hit or miss(mostly miss)and they changed the meatball pie which was so good but not anymore. Last night we decided to order food. I ordered eggplant parm, which is on menu as "baked entree" if that's what they call it! It was paper thin slices covering the top of about a pound of spaghetti! The eggplant as thin as they were not cooked all the way, i had to cut it with a steak knife! I'm done, and it looks like other people feel the same.
