came in today and the staff was so kind! the food was phenomenal and balanced perfectly. it's is a far drive from my home but i would absolutely take the trip again because it was so good. Hit this place on a whim walking around the neighborhood one day with a friend trying to get some lunch. Place is nice n clean with a good descriptive menu. Literally wanted to eat everything on it! Mostly seafood and Birria based menu (which is right up my alley. I got two of the shrimp tacos and my friend got the Asian Birria tostada. My shrimp was absolutely outstanding! Sweet, fresh AF, plump big ass shrimp packed into some beautiful corn tortillas. My friends Toastada was massive and epic! Def better than some of the other Birria spots around tbh. So much flavor in this meat! You can tell the jefe puts a ton of love into his cooking! The salsas were super good, especially the creamy cilantro one. The staff was very friendly as well. I'm a foodie. I travel often and dine out a lot. I've been following the IG page of this place for awhile but always felt it was a bit out of my way. Today I was hungry and in the area and I'm so glad I drove here because this was by far the best Mariscos I've ever had. The ceviche was the most flavorful and generous portions I've seen. Came in looking for a fried fish taco but their grilled fish taco was off the hook. Wasn't necessarily looking for ceviche but ended up trying their verde sauce shrimp ceviche, it was flavorful and spicy. Definitely coming back. Service was phenomenal, super friendly. I had been meaning to try this place for a while now and I finally got the chance to get out there. I will start off by saying yes the food does taste as delicious as the pictures look. The girl at the register was great with the service. She was very friendly and welcoming. The reason it gets a 4 is because the place is really small , the parking sucks, and it closes at 5 which I'm usually not off work until after 5. We ordered the Enamorado, Tamarindo Jícama, and Hija de su Puta and taco de pulpo. The Enamorado was delicious and full of flavor and I would suggest getting the shrimp raw it had more flavor than the cooked. The Hija De Su had a very similar flavor but had I believe fish and pulpo but the sauce was very similar if not the same. The Enamorado might have seemed a lil more zesty but that might just be because of the added seafood in the other. However, both very delicious but I think I preferred the Enamorado. If you love Chamoy and Jicama you will love the other one. It has a little spicy kick but it's also very sweet so I don't recommend having one of those in the same sitting. The taco was very well seasoned and as you can see very loaded. The food might be a little pricey but seafood is expensive and the servings are very much worth it so I would say it's worth every dollar. If your looking to try a good ceviche place you can't go wrong here. I'll update with my birria pics and posts when I have a chance to go back and try that next. read more

I was craving aguachile so I instantly thought about Fercheladas. I had heard about how good it was so I went to taste for myself. I ordered a birria taco and a tostada de Hija de Tu P*. Both items were so savory. The tostada was an explosion of flavors. It was spicy(but not super spicy), sweet, & sour. The only thing I had to add was hot sauce otherwise it was delicious. I like my stuff super spicy. There were 4 salsa options. All which had their very own unique flavor. The birria taco was different in that they put red cabbage. I was surprised at how good that combo tasted. It added a very nice texture. The customer service was exceptional. I believe the owner was there and he was very friendly & helpful. It was so good I went again during that same week. Only this time I ordered the El Prieto, El Verde and a tamarindo tostada. Both el prieto and el verde were very tasty. We asked for mayo but they didnt have any, so if you're like us, byom(bring your own mayo). Lol. Nonetheless it was still worth having. The tamarindo on the other hand was NOT my favorite. It tasted like chamoy candy and it wasn't savory like everything else. They have a few drink option such as sodas, but the cool thing is that next door they sell aguas frescas. Came here on a monday , around 30 minutes before closing and received great customer service by the woman at the counter. I asked about the most popular ceviche and she mentioned El Prieto so thats what we went with. It was the best ceviche ive had!! So much flavor and it was perfectly spicy! Wayyy better than karinas! My top favorite dishes are: Shrimp cocktail: The right amount of shrimps and flavors. They make their cocktail sauce like no other. There's no need to add other condiments like ketchup or lime in it. It's just perfect the way it is. The cocktail is served with seasoned tostadas. Grilled Cheese Birria Sandwich: Soft, shredded birria meat and melted cheese packed in between two thick sliced bread. So delicious and mouth watering. A large amount of food. This is also served with a side of crispy French fries. Quesabirria tacos: The cheese is melted onto the taco shell and stuffed with soft, shredded birria meat that is marinated with a burst of flavors. read more

Beware of the taco size! For some reason, maybe because I was really excited to try Ferchaladas... i forgot to check or ask for their tortilla size. Isn't it funny, that this has become a must before ordering tacos? I need to know what size tortilla you got, to order accordingly lol To my surprise the tortilla was a regular size and thick as they come tortilla (tmi) Moving on.. I went straight for the Octopus Taco. That taco was epic! I got down and dirty with it. My napkin was not ready for this taco. The flavor, the juice, the mess lol wait, I know most do not desire to eat octopus. Why!!? Simply bc most places don't know how to cook octopus. There, I said it. Well this taco was delicious, periodt. Next taco... the Birria taco with the consome. I avoided the tortilla and went full force in for the meat + consome. Honestly, I felt defeated. I couldn't finish it. I was full. Food is not just good looking, it's packed with flavors and the quality/freshness is not questionable. . Ya'll I ate all of this in front of my boss. A friend of mine has been telling me about this "bomb" El Prieto tostada that she had at a place called Ferchaladas. I'm a very picky eater but after about 2 months I finally went I ordered to go El Verda and El Padrón.... Wow why did I wait so long to try it ‍ The tostadas were pretty amazing. Only reason I'm giving a 4 is because the back of the cooked shrimp wasn't taken out (preference) so before I ate my food I sat there cleaning all the back of the shrimp. I would absolutely pay extra if this was an option when selecting how you want your shrimp..... Anywho this please is fantastic and I encourage everyone to go try it now! read more

Don't get me wrong, the food here is amazing! The reason I am leaving a poor review is because I decided to drive up to grab food yesterday (the drive was not fun especially with it being around traffic hour), I was excited to find front parking and I had even looked at the menu and knew what I was ordering but when I arrived, I noticed the door was locked. I went around to the window and they told me they were closed because they were out of birria. I told them that I was not planning on ordering birria and they said they had already turned off the fryers and stoves. This was at 4pm when the location advertises to close at 5pm. I was left upset and a bit angry because I had just drove in that traffic for them to say they closed early simply because they were out of an item that I didn't even plan on ordering. Not sure if I will be returning. read more
