I wasn't going to leave a review this specific until I saw all the other reviews. Literally, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE!! Went in to get faucets, shower system, bathtub filler and tub, toilet. Ruben Mota was assigned to "help" us. It started off pretty standard, we told him what we needed and he acted like he knew just the items that would work for what we needed... when he finally printed out the items, it was obvious that he just selected the most absolutely highest priced items of each category. When asked if there were different options for each item that weren't as expensive, he had the audacity to say "Oh of course, sorry about that. We have some stuff if you're okay with our "Signature Brand." We had to wait another 30-45 mins just for him to change everything out because he was so slow... just for the items to be even MORE EXPENSIVE than the original ones. WHAT A JOKE! This guy was not knowledgeable or helpful AT ALL on top of being super SLOW! Hard to believe how clueless someone can be.. 100% commission of 0 is... ZERO! Yes, go with Ferguson!! I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed my own personal experience purchasing my whole home of appliances from Ferguson! Additionally, I am a designer, and I consistently point my clients back to Ferguson. Since I experienced firsthand the streamlined process, competitive pricing, the responsive customer service and many more positive aspects to the transaction Ferguson is easy to recommend! One thing I love in particular are the spec books that Ferguson reps will provide for the project. I give one to the contractor and one to the homeowner well ahead of installation. I have worked with several different reps during the course of various projects, again, including my own whole home renovation, and each person went above and beyond to meet or exceed my expectations. I have had wonderful experiences most recently with Michelle Misci and Kari Whitaker in the SoCal/OC area. I understand that supply chain issues are a thing but they are truly universal right now. As a member of the design community I can assure you everyone is dealing with this reality(furniture, tile, etc). So when I see bad reviews about lead times I don't put much stock in them because they are unfortunately everywhere. That said, Ferguson made every effort to communicate every detail of each project from the very beginning and they keep that communication open until the project was completed. The Costa Mesa City Inspector who came to our house a few weeks ago failed our overhead and hand held shower set up in the main bath. Apparently in California you are not allowed the option of having both the overhead and hand held heads going on simultaneously. I contacted Lindsay and she conceded their salesman should have asked if we were going to have the house remodeled by the city so that we could have been sold the correct valve at the time of initial purchase. To correct this required opening a hole in the wall behind the shower fixture and retrofitting the approved valve. Lindsay arranged for the delivery of the approved valve to my house and had Ferguson cover the cost of the retrofitting with my contractor. As we say in golf nice "bounce back" thanks to Lindsay who was a pleasure to interact with making this ordeal less aggravating than it might have been. read more

If they are the SAME, why do they have 2 different names, 2 dif websites, etc? We had fixtures for 3 bathrooms to purchase. This was our first time to the showroom and we were impressed. We had an appointment with Lindsay who was excellent. We had a tight deadline and were able to have all the parts delivered prior to our plumbing work starting a few days later. After our work was done we did have a couple items that were not needed. When I remodeled my master bath, my contractor recommended I come to Ferguson to obtain my shower components. This particular location is in Irvine off Irvine Center Dr near Bake Parkway. I dealt w/ a salesman who was able to get me in and out quickly on a Sat. I had to go by one of the nearby Ferguson warehouses to pick up the shower valve: My contractor was pouring concrete on Mon, and the valve needed to be installed at the same time. Everything went smoothly, except for the lack of follow up from the salesman. There were some items missing from the shipment, and the salesman was slow in returning my calls. However, in the end I was very happy w/ all the components I purchased including a shower head & valve, faucets, dual flush toilet, and a cool toilet paper dispenser that lifts up vs being spring loaded. I highly recommend Ferguson for all your bath and kitchen remodel needs. The selection is much better vs the big box DIY stores. read more

I purchased over $50k of merchandise for my remodel and I wish I would have purchased from Pirch or a different retailer. 1) Ferguson is being swallowed up by build.com. It took me over a half an hour and three different people trying to call my local store that I purchased the goods from to help with installation instructions. It was horrible dealing with an 800 number in some kind of call-center versus the local people I purchased all my items from. There is no more local service with familiar faces. 2) Their delivery department is very unfriendly. They brought my appliances to my home but the delivery guys decided they did not want to carry the large capacity washer and dryer into my home. They used various excuses and got the sales person from Ferguson on the phone with me. They refused to deliver the washer and dryer. Within 24 hours Best Buy came out to do a courtesy measurement of my laundry room, and immediately agreed with me that my room will accommodate the specific appliances purchased. They sold me and are delivering what I wanted. It was a complete waste of my time to have to purchase the exact same appliances I had already bought from Ferguson from Best Buy because Ferguson had lazy delivery people, and would not listen to me - their customer. 3) You would think after these two problems they would be extra apologetic and helpful. Not the case. They just emailed me to tell me that they delivered the wrong merchandise to me and my plumber has already installed it into my walls. They are making it right, but just barely and with minimal apologies and no attempt to make up for the extra hassle of having to have my contractor redo the work that has already been done. read more

Well.... Jackie took 2 weeks to get back to me after 3 calls and two emails. We struggled with orders as most things came in wrong or missing parts. My bathroom has been done for over 2 months yet I am still waiting for two small parts for my sink that was supposed to take 2 weeks. Here is the truth. They work on commission but help each other out. The pricing is great if you have a contractor. The phone customer service is great but they don't ever follow up ( I don't think they are on commission but more of support) Their receipts and orders are still printed on archaic printers with the dots on the side... does that tell you anything about their tracking? I think you can play Pong on their computers. Case in point, they have the best product,best price but they lack in attentiveness and follow through. Their system needs a major upgrade and can not be trusted so keep track of everything! Every phone call, email, bill, exchange... everything. Take a picture of what is in your box upon receipt as well as the outside of the box. Basically stay on top of everything and find a sales rep you feel comfortable with. We are doing a kitchen remodel and purchased approximately $26,000 In Jenn Air appliances from Ferguson in Irvine. Unfortunately, once installed the $11,000 brand new refrigerator was inoperable. After contacting Ferguson, discussing it - there was a refusal of replacing it with a new working one. Instead it can only be repaired. It needs a new compressor, evaporator, dryer & I believe freeon. It has to have 3 repair visits before it can be replaced. Not once did Ferguson step up to help us out. So we have what we call a "piece of art" in our kitchen. It's great to look at but absolutely useless. We are going on two months of this. It's beyond disappointing that we paid for a brand new fridge & are basically getting a refurbished one instead. Beyond disappointed. read more

The staff is very rude with no respect for their customers. Avoid this place if you can help it. The staff doesn't deserve support if they won't even let people with babies sit down while they wait their turn. They've limited their capacity to the number of sales people they have in the store so it takes forever to be seen even with the store 90% empty. So even if you don't need their slimy salesmen, they make you deal with one tailgating you the whole time. Do not buy from Ferguson. I went to Ferguson because my plumber likes to go to them. And will only buy from them. And well I can say it's the worst customer experience I've had. They are more than happy to take your money, but they don't deliver on any of the products that they promise that they'll get for you and you pay for. I ordered a faucet on 4/09. I am still waiting for that faucet. It would be one thing if it was backordered, but it wasn't. So I bought it from koehler for a cheaper price--oh yeah, and I'm getting it tomorrow. It's 5/11. That's just one example. Other examples are waiting for a kitchen sink, ordering valves, etc. That said, if you escalate and call and talk to a manager, they'll bend over backwards--but that's after multiple calls, on multiple days. I showed up the first day, as I was told the bathtub would be in the store to pickup. It hadn't made it on the truck. I figured, okay, This happens occasionally. They said it would be shipped in the following morning. I showed up again to pick it up, and now they tell me it's on back-order. They have 3 in California, but they want $150-$200 for freight, and it will take another 4-5 days. Meanwhile my clients' bathroom is torn apart and my workers are sitting with nothing to do.
