    With the new Windows 11 updates, I need a new computer as my current laptop doesn't support the update. Came here to look at a few that I saw online last week. Angel spent time to explain different computers and their features and options in details. I decided to wait for a few days and see if the one I wanted would go on sale. And it did, starting Monday. $450 off! However, this location had none in stock when I called to check. Best Buy online stated South Coast location has one left in stock or order online to get it by 10/8. Decided to come back and give Angel the sale as he already spent the time and helped us out. The transaction was quick and easy since I already knew what I wanted. Purchased and paid here to pick up at South Coast! Angel was very diligent and provided us with great service. I know they work hard and would appreciate any new business. Thank you Angel for your assistance.

    Nothing like conversing with the Best Buy Chatbot. Let me know that I missed my appointment, when actually I didn't. Scheduled my appointment by phone, went there only to find out that the geek squad doesn't attend to iPhone speaker repairs. They let me know that the other locations still have the needed materials, but not at this store location anymore. I also found out that my Best Buy total membership, apparently has auto renew, with a not low fee in my opinion. I didn't even know I had this and paid for it. Thankfully, the geek squad showed me how to navigate through the Best Buy page because that's the only way to cancel it! The employees were very nice at the geek squad, and at the front end. But when you go toward the back of the store with the higher priced larger ticket items, In my opinion, those are the older sales people who have been working there for quite a while, and are not as courteous. - if you ask them where the restrooms are at, they look at your hands to make sure you don't have any items and then let you know where the restroom are to prevent vandalism.

    Service. Cashier was very helpful with our telephone and batteries purchase. The store was empty so not sure how Best Buy is making money.

My…read moreFrench door refrigerator with interior water dispenser and ice maker decided to stop dispensing water and was no longer making ice, but the more problematic issues were the lack of maintaining the programmed set refrigerator and freezer temperatures. Of course my concerns were risks of water lines, electronic, or compressor failures. Setting an appointment by phone with Lisa was super easy. When Mark arrived, he was prepared to do a full evaluation of the refrigerator. I was prepared to hear the news that I needed a new refrigerator or that any repair costs would be almost as expensive. Well, let me tell you that Mark suggested only a minor adjustment to one of the internal refrigerator components, then giving that a few days of my monitoring the internal temperatures to see if that adjustment worked to maintain the temps within a range and to call the company with the results. That adjustment worked, which indicated to Mark that the problem was with the damper in the refrigerator. When Mark returned a week later, he had the new damper which he installed. The problem with the water dispenser was solved by installing a new filter. While he was there, I had him remove the ice maker which I rarely used anyway (giving me more room in the freezer). I share all this detail because unlike so many businesses, Action Appliance Repair is scrupulously honest, and never once tried to upsell me on anything unnecessary. This is a company that is definitely on my "CALL THEM FIRST" list for any appliance repairs.
