They installed the dryer without completing the steamer attachments, and reused the old vent that had holes in it. They left the new vent and rings on top of the dryer along with the equipment to attach the steamer and left. I had to call them back and ask why they didn't finish the set up with the steamer option that we paid for along with reusing the old venting that had a hole in it. I didn't receive an explanation but they would credit me back for that part of the installation. They never came back to install the steamer and when I called again they told me it's better not to use that option as it would rust the dryer out. The 1 1/2 year old dryer recently started making very loud noises , so I called them again and they said they would send someone out. I explained this is only a 1 1/2 year old dryer that was purchased through them. I was told I didn't buy the extended warranty for $400 so it isn't covered. They sent out someone 3 weeks later to look at it. When the young man showed up at the door, he didn't introduce himself, just said "where is it"? I said ok, you must be from Doyons, and showed him where it was. Normally, they tell us what was wrong and how much it would cost to repair. Within 40 minutes, he came down and began to leave without saying a word. We had to stop him and ask what was going on. He was angry and irritated and just said it's fixed. We said you fixed it? He said yup and rattled off what he did and walked out the door. We already paid $190 for them to come out and diagnose the problem. They were supposed to look at the machine, tell us what was wrong, and the cost to fix it. Instead, he fixed it and tried to leave without telling us what was wrong or what he did to fix it and then they charged our card for an additional $387. All in all, this is no longer the Doyons from years ago. Poor service, rude customer service, and zero communication. They do not care about the customer any longer, just about how Much money they can drain from you for doing the bare minimum.

She figured out my real needs and showed me all the options. We eventually settled on a Weber option that gave me everything I needed at a lower price point. Thank goodness for the experts at The Bar-B-Que Barn - they saved our BBQ this weekend!…read more I have an extremely old Skyline Series Weber grill, and when we ran out of propane the new tank didn't fit the hose on the grill. A trip to Home Depot yielded an adaptor that didn't fit, and with 3 hours till BBQ time, I was getting desperate. I called The Bar-B-Que Barn and spoke with one of the guys there, and when I described the problem he knew exactly what I was talking about and how to fix it. I ran over to their store in Arlington and in five minutes he had produce the piece that I needed to convert the hose on my old grill into one that would fit a standard propane tank, and even put some sealant on the piece so it wouldn't leak when I installed it. He gave me a quick tutorial on how to perform the minor surgery needed to install the new piece and told me to invest in a 9/16ths wrench and I was on my way. After arriving home, I was able to fix the grill in less than five minutes, and thanks to The Bar-B-Que Barn, when 20 guests showed up for dinner the grill was cookin'! If you live in Arlington, Cambridge, Somerville, or anywhere in the surroudning area, I highly reccomend a trip to The Bar-B-Que Barn to fill or exchange your propane tank or stock up on grill accessories! They might even offer you a hot dog fresh off the grill while you are there :)

We had special-ordered bronze appliance handles for the GE Cafe set, and one of the refrigerator door handles had started to oxidize within a year. It didn't bother us as it was hidden but then it started to peel and the silver metal was showing through. We only use a soft damp cloth to wipe them down, never any chemicals. I gave Hugo's a call a few weeks ago to see if this was a known issue and if GE would replace. The person I spoke to on the phone took down my information and asked me to text some photos to Al and follow-up on Monday. Al said this was the first he had heard of this issue but he reached out to GE on our behalf and by Friday of that same week, we had a replacement handle on our doorstep. We definitely would not have received this service had we ordered through one of the big box stores. This is why we choose to shop with small businesses. Thank you, Al!! The new handle looks great and we will be seeing you soon...washer and dryer is on its way out.

I was replacing my washing machine and the deliverypeople inadvertently removed my dryer and brought in another dryer. I was on line at the time and not paying attention. When I noticed what had happened, they took the new dryer back out. then they took out the old machine and returned my functioning dryer to my home. When I called the store, there was little apology and I requested purchasing a downgrade of my former machine. When they returned three days later, they brought up an upgrade - NOT he machine I ordered. But what was most shocking was when I called them and asked them why they had not delivered the machine I wanted, no one knew anything about it. Then the person on the phone said "We deliver the wrong appliances all the time because the numbers on Electrolux washer and dryer are so similar." I couldn't believe he said that. I was stunned to which I said, "Knowing that, why are you not more careful?" I ended up tipping the delivery men who worked hard and the machine cost me much more than it would had I bought it from my local store. There was barely an apology about them.

The ones on extended phone calls ( Stephen P and another girl) made the showroom sound like a call center..they were loud and didnt have the decency to hold the call for a second and ask us to wait until they get to us. Not going here again for sure!
