They were very punctual with appointments, actually arriving early for each visits. They give you a heads up when they are on their way. They worked with me on a holiday (new year's day) and weekends. My dryer was stopping mid-cycle. During the first visit, Sergey diagnosed the issue as the timer and replaced it. Unfortunately, that did not resolve the problem. After I contacted them again, he returned to recheck the dryer and was able to identify the actual issue, which required ordering an additional part. The part took about a week to arrive, and although I did have to follow up, he returned at a time that was convenient for me and completed the repair. My dryer is now working properly. Overall, YZ Pro was professional, friendly, and made a genuine effort to accommodate me and see the job through. Their pricing is on the higher side, but they ultimately resolved the issue and completed the service. read more

We had a broken oven and called Yz Pro (found them on Yelp of course) to see if they could help. They responded quickly to our initial inquiry and arranged to come out the next day to check it out. The technician showed us what was wrong with the oven and said that it wouldn't be worth fixing - that we'd be better off buying a new one as the estimated cost of the repair (parts and labor) would be more than a new oven. In addition, purchasing a new oven would likely be quicker too as they would also have to order the parts needed. So while Yx Pro wasn't able to fix our oven, I appreciate their honesty. Yes, it's always a bit annoying having to pay a diagnostic fee only to be told something that you already know, but . . . c'est la vie. read more

chose this company (based on good reviews) to come and repair my GE Cafe electric range-oven that needed repair. Their diagnostic fee was $91 which is reasonable...but the technician's expertise is lacking. The first red flag was that he couldn't figure out how to put the range parts back together and extra screws were left out. Estimate was approximately $700 and new parts were needed. I sought 2nd opinion and found that new parts were not needed, loose wires were repaired and damage from prior technician had to be repaired (dented housing for blower) and multiple screws were missing. My repair was completed by VinTech. I would not recommend due to these problems. read more

This estimate came out to be over $400 as well. The part only cost just over $100, I cannot see paying $300 for labor? The technician was on his phone most of the time seeming like he was googling what the potential issue was. I got a second opinion from another company I had worked with before who determined it was not what Yz Pro said it was and told me I needed to replace my machine. I found him on Yelp, saw the good reviews, and explained exactly what was wrong with my washer to see if he could fix it. He showed up, looked at it for maybe 30 seconds, told me it'd be $400, and left. Didn't inspect it, didn't try to diagnose anything - just confirmed what I already knew and took the $89. Basically paid $89 for a "yep, it's broken." Not worth it. Ask for the full price upfront before you waste your time. read more

YZ pro is fast and Sergey did come the next day and fix my dryer within an hour but they are pricey. I think he could have done a little better job at keeping his worksite cleaner but oh well, he was there to fix my machine not clean up the mess. I showed him the issue with the loud noise coming from the dryer and he diagnosed the issue quickly, got the new parts from his vehicle and got to work. I watched him the whole time and he definitely worked quickly. I thought if I tried to do the fix, I would maybe take the whole day with my wife's help and still no guarantee my dryer would be fixed had I tried it myself. Would advise to do your due diligence and/or go with another, more experienced appliance repair shop to save you time and money. Service call was affordable and ultimately concluded I needed a new ice maker. The amount YZ Pro quoted for the part and "delivery" was almost 1.5-2x what I could have bought the OEM part myself, which I understand the reason for the business mark up. That being said, YZ Pro provided the part number, which they claimed they got from SubZero. I purchased the part and they said they would install it. When I rescheduled the install, the technician said I got the wrong part. I matched the part number with what they sent me and YZ Pro claimed there was no fault on their end and, if I continued to go through them fix the issue, they would still purchase the same (incorrect) part because that's what SubZero told them. Huh?! Instead of finding out what the correct part was, they wanted me to contact the manufacturer to figure it out for them. Huh again?! I independently verified through the manufacturer that the part number they told me was in fact wrong (bad on me for doing that originally, but I mistrusted YZ Pro's expertise). They claimed "this happens in our industry." Ok, got it. Ultimately, I ended up purchasing the correct part and fixing the issue. The amount I spent for both parts and install was still less than what YZ Pro quoted to install the original (incorrect) part. I can't return the wrong part, which I would argue negligence, laziness, or maybe lack of expertise on YZ Pro's part, so unfortunately that's a loss. read more

Sergei was on time and quickly diagnosed the issue on a 3 month old compressor that the LG authorized repair person had installed, apparently improperly, or is faulty to begin with. LG refrigerators are nice to look at but bad in repairs. We've given up and have ordered a new Whirlpool model to replace this LG lemon. Back to YZ Pro - quick to respond, quick to diagnose. They were very quick to reply to my Yelp request for service and text messages. Their initial text said they can do same day service but unfortunately they could only do next day (no biggie). In my messages I mentioned my garbage disposal had an issue with the electrical outlet and my fridge's ice dispenser wasn't working. They messaged they could fix both - awesome! However on the morning of, they called to say their technician can't fix the outlet because he's not an electrician, but he can still fix the dispenser. I really wish this could've been mentioned in my initial request. The tech wasn't able to fix the dispenser because he needed to order the part. Couldn't give me a firm time on when it would come in (3 days to 2 weeks he said). The tech initially had a bill for today's service and the part. He paused, said hold on and went back to tinkering with the fridge. When he was done he gave me a new bill with only their service/diagnostic fee. I asked if I would have to pay the service/diagnostic fee when he comes to install the part. From the most part he said no, but it wasn't made very clear (mostly due English being his 2nd language). Agreed to pay $89 for a diagnostic visit which would be deducted from the final bill if I elected to proceed with the repair. I was very happy with the communication and attention to detail during the diagnosis and eventual repair. Our technician Roman was polite and professional. I am revising my comments based on YZ Pro's response to my original 1 star review. I appreciate that their customer service agent called me and based on what happened offered to only charge me $89 for the diagnostic, which I accepted. When I first called YZ on a Sunday, their dispatcher asked the make and model # of our Kenmore washer/dryer. I also told him our machine needed a new belt. The technician arrived, inspected the machine and agreed it needed a new belt, but he said he did not have the right one in his car because their warehouse is closed on Sundays and that it will cost $256 to fix. The tech came back Monday evening, installed the new belt then said the problem is not the belt its the bearing case, which is too expensive (and possibly not even made anymore) that we were better off buying a new machine. Then he charged me $256. My feedback to the customer service agent was that because your dispatcher asked which make & model we have, then as a customer, I expect their tech to come with the correct matching parts. Otherwise, you've wasted my time and yours by requiring at least 2 house visits. I explained that YZ should have said they will come on Monday instead, so the tech could get the correct belt BEFORE his first visit and limit our time to 1 visit, not 2 visits. In any event, I'm grateful that YZ stood behind their service problem and issued the refund. read more

Terrible customer service. I called to try and get my washer fixed. Thoroughly explained to the guy on the phone the issue and the brand and model of the washer. The technician came out, was here less than five minutes, took one look and said there was nothing he could do because he had never seen this kind of washer before. He accepted the 89$ service fee and left with no follow up on whether they'd be able to find the part. We paid cash and he didn't have change so he kept the additional 11$. You would think they would've been able to say the exact same thing over the phone after I gave them all info up front.
