I had been dealing with a leak in my ref for a while and finally decided to get it fixed. I headed to Yelp and looked through the various companies. I noticed that one company, VINTECH had a solid 5 rating and decided to give them a try. I sent in my inquiry on President's day not expecting to get a reply till the following day. To my surprise Vince responded and setup an appointment for the following day. Vince sent me a text message when he was on the way and arrived shortly thereafter. I called Vin to get a quote for our freezer which was gathering ice and dripping into our fridge. I left a voicemail and he called me back very quickly afterwards. After describing the problem, he knew what it was right away, a clogged drain in the freezer. He said he could squeeze me in right after lunch which I appreciated He came over and got right to work, resolving the clogged drain and also giving notes and advice about our refrigerator. Just had the compressor in my refrigerator replaced today. Vince (owner) came by first, did an assessment of the situation and concluded that it was indeed the compressor that needed to be replaced. After letting me know what my options were (no pressure selling), he then gave me a quote for the job. After I agreed to have the compressor replaced as opposed to purchasing a new refrigerator (my fridge is 12 years old), he called Jun to come out to replace it. I had called the number on my refrigerator door to request service on my non-working Kenmore water dispenser and ice maker. I made an appointment with the A.I. "person" between 1pm and 5pm on July 22. I was bitterly disappointed when no one showed up so I called VinTech at the suggestion of my daughter who had seen the reviews on Yelp. Vince immediately diagnosed the problem to be a leaking water hose and quickly repaired it. He did a thorough check for any other leaks then ran a full diagnostic on the ice maker following manufacturer's guidelines. And finally, Vince reassembled the water filter housing that I had "broken" the last time I installed a new filter. This was all done in less than an hour, including cleanup, and the 8 year old refrigerator was like new when he left!
