I been coming here to this location for past 4 years now. They ALWAYS have what I'm looking for. Initially, I needed a shelf guard for my refrigerator. I looked online and was expensive $67 to ship to Hawai'i. So would been $110 total for that plastic piece. Did some research and found a place in the Waipahu location about a block past Costco. Awesome!!! Because, we live Mililani. I looked on Reliable Parts website and they had 4 left in stock. $37.95 + was offered 10% discount for 1st time buyer. Couldn't beat that! Went to pick up the part a week later due to my conflicting schedule. Walked in and a kind gentleman (didn't get his name) assisted me. I showed my email receipt and he went to the back, came out a minute later. Handed me the part in a sealed plastic bag along with my paid invoice attached. "Thanked me for stopping in and I returned the kind gesture, as well!!!" - Then sometime around beginning of August 2025 our GE Washing Machine (Washer) stopped spinning and agitating. Then, the Dryer stopped spinning around late August. (Ugh, what the heck?!) We purchased both from Sears about 8 years ago. Unfortunately, Sears no longer exists on island. Both my wonderful wife (Yeah, she is) and I were contemplating on when or where we was gonna buy a new Washer and Dryer. We both researched online and went to a couple stores. Everything nowadays has way more advancements in technology and expensive as hell! -- Then, one day I decided to research on U-toob. I looked at both machines by model number. Opened both up. Looked to see what the problem was. Found out that both "belts" had worn away and snapped. 1st Place I checked "Reliable Parts" website. Found what I was looking for the "specific models" and they were both IN STOCK. Paid just under $42 for both belts. We were unable to pick up belts for about 3 weeks because our conflicting schedules. However, SAME AWESOME SERVICE & KINDNESS. My wife went to go pick up belts as she got off work early. She showed our email Receipt. 1 minute later. My wife was kindly handed 2 sealed bags with a belt in each bag, along with paid invoice attached. My wife said, "Thank you and the Gentleman (my wife didn't get his name) returned the kind gesture" -- When I arrived home from work. Guess what??? Took about 20 minutes. Both Washer and Dryer WORK AGAIN!!! Washing Machine took 5 minutes to change belt. Dryer took much longer time, about 15 minutes as my big arms and hands ( ;) lol) weren't able to get around the dryer bin and manipulate the tensioner. I didn't want to remove the bin either because it was already too much work Haha BUT, eventually got it to work and everything aligned properly! -- So, we didn't have to look anywhere else online. At least the parts are GENUINE and OEM and not "substitutes" or "might" fit from Amazon (didn't want to chance it) or Home Depot (because I went) When a part says, "Fits GE, Whirlpool, LG, Maytag, etc." Then you read the fine print: "May not work in all models" Do you go by chance??? Called to see if they had a certain whirlpool washer dryer part and I feel so bad for the gentleman who took my call, as I tried to explain a part that I clearly had only half a clue what it was! I thought it was the knob plastic bit but he clarified and told me it's the dryer timer. He took the time to look up the serial number of my machine and walk me through what part it was & found the exact manufacturing # for the part. Could I have bought it was cheaper online? Yeah! But if somebody took the time to deal with my poor explanation skills and find the part for me AND they have it in stock? He also took the time to explain it to me and how to install it, and repeated himself, so I could write it down. I'll go to them instead! Before I was sent on a wild goose chase..... What had happened was..my dryer broke. My other half called in the part, they confirmed they had it and gave him the part number. Somehow what he told me was to pick it up at Kuroda's auto shop. After a busy day, I did not check his text, I just GPS'd the location and made my way. Long story short, I fricken made it. Located in Waipio, near Island Gymnastics and Na Maka o Puuwai halau. Small parking lot but just enough stalls. I walked in, somehow found the cash register area, and was immediately seen. I didn't even have to finish saying the part number. Either the guy remembered my husbands call or new his inventory really really well. I was in and out of there like lightning. This store has all kinds of appliance parts and tools for heating and AC, kitchen, and laundry room. But I'd call in to check prior to making the drive just in case. Wow, I know we are in Hawaii and cost of living is a little higher but businesses like this are ridiculous, I would bet they are out there bashing customers for shopping on line instead of in store, when in reality the business is the one who drives the customers to go shop online... here is why... Called ReliableParts for a Stand Up Freezer Door Switch which they had at the cost of $54 bucks... when the part is on Amazon for $11... Now I could see maybe a $20-$30 due to overhead and what not but 54 dollars... That is taking advantage of customers and forcing them to go shop online or elsewhere... SMH read more

If you're coming in from the H-2 freeway, you're going to go past the Costco and make a right turn at the intersection with the bank, the store will be on the left side. It was my first time there because I needed to find a part for a refrigerator. Their online site is so user friendly, you can search your part number to see if they have in stock. The staff there are professional and friendly. After doing your own research online, you can find your part number and tell them what part you're looking for. They go in the back, grab the part, you pay, and you're good to go. It's a fun store to be in for a first timer. They have a whole shelf of things you never thought you'd need. This was my first experience with this store. One of my refrigerators water tubes decided to break and was shooting water everywhere. Sears wanted $109 to send someone out to "diagnose" the problem, even though I already knew. So my husband and I decided to play "brokecanics" as he likes to call it, and attempt the fix ourselves. We headed over to Reliable Parts hoping they would be able to help. When we got there they advised that they were practicing an order and pick up system. Cool, I get it, with everything that's going on right now, understandable. What I didn't understand was why the guy couldn't just tell my husband if they had what we needed right then. They were both wearing face coverings and practicing social distancing, instead we had to call (this is the reason fo the 4 stars not 5). When we called a pleasant young lady answered and attempted to help us, when she couldn't she put the gentleman that my husband had just spoken to outside on the phone. He was very helpful and explained that the model of our refrigerator didn't state what size tube we needed and there were 2 sizes that it could be. We asked the prices of both and decided to just get both since the prices were reasonable. The gentleman took our credit card info over the phone and a few minutes later brought out our items and receipt. The hubby and I turned out to be pretty good "brokecanics" and was able to fix the problem ourselves (take that Sears Home Services). Nothing against Sears though if you have a warranty totally awesome, if not, too much money. In closing turns out we ended up not even needing either house because there was a supply stored right inside our refrigerator, lol. You live and learn right. Thank goodness there is a 30day return policy on unopen merchandise. Hopefully the return is as easy as the purchase. read more

A day before I was headed out to travel for a week, I was greeted by a request for a new clothing dryer from my mother-in-law. Since I don't have a truck, going to Home Depot at 8:00pm to pick up dryer wasn't an option. I hadn't packed for the trip yet either. On closer inspection, I realized the dryer door shutoff switch was likely worn out. I knew it was a 30 minute repair but the question was going to be parts availability. I work in Wahiawa and live in town so I decided to check out the Waipahu store the next day and hit the Honolulu store too if necessary. I arrive in a warehouse area to a nice store front. There were three people at the registers and two greet me. I head to the guy on the right, show him a picture of the model number, he types it into the system, says "okay we have this", and he reaches under the counter to pull out the switch. I can't help but laugh. He tells me that people slam dryer doors and break the switches a lot. I'm in and out in under 5 minutes. I head home, unplug the dryer, remove two screws, pop the top, vacuum out the lint, remove two more screws to replace the switch, and run the rest in reverse. 30 minutes later my mother-in-law has a running dryer for $25 in parts instead of spending $400 to replace it. So I needed to replace a knob for my dryer and S**** wanted me to cut off my arm for it. My spouse called Reliable Parts and they charged us $30 shipping included. It did take about a month but that's way better than the other place. So if you need parts for your appliances try this place. They also sell many cleaning products. I was in a rush so I didn't get a good look at all the products they sell. Many yelpers gave 1-star reviews. I didn't come across any unhelpful staff. The guy who helped was quick and nice. The store looked fairly new and very cleaned. It must be all those products that they use. Free parking is available right in front the store. read more

(Un)Reliable Parts should be your last resort. I won't go into the whole long story, but it's a disaster over there. After 3 months of waiting (and calling periodically) I finally find out that the part I had ordered came in damaged so they had to re-order it. Instead of just doing that, they apparently needed my credit card number again (because the lost it?) but they also lost my phone number so they couldn't call me. Funny, because I had been using my phone and/or last name to look up the order when I called because they never gave me an order number when I originally placed the order! Not once did they offer to email me an invoice or anything. Three months, five phone calls and I'm done with these clowns. At one point, while talking to Greg, he mentioned that he accidentally deleted the email with my phone number and was "hoping I'd call back." I guess no one told him that deleted emails can be recovered. Also, how were they planning to contact me when the part did come in if they lost my phone number? Why wasn't I contacted immediately when the part came in damaged? Someone doesn't know how to do their job and the incompetence here is astounding. I recommend you try encompass.com (used by Best Buy). I found my part significantly cheaper there. Sears had the part, but the shipping was $40 (it's an $80 part). read more

A couple of weeks ago the oven thermostat for my GE Stove stopped working. Called Reliable Parts and gave the Serial number for the stove and the gentleman said they had one more Oven Thermostat for that number in stock, and he'd be willing to set it aside. I got there and spoke to a gentleman at the counter and he assisted me. Didn't get his name but, he's a huge Atlanta Falcons fan. Aloha The door plunger which locks the washing machine door in place broke on my GE washer. I knew Reliable Parts would help me as they did before and they did not disappoint. The part is now discontinued which is hilarious as only the door plunger part has been discontinued in a 4 year old washer rendering the entire machine useless. With 4 kids ,2 in college, 2 in high school my laundry schedule is pumping hardcore and Reliable Parts stepped up with "out of the box" thinking and found a similar part from another manufacturer and IT WORKED. I know nothing about appliances and parts. Luckily Syres, Mike, Grace and the staff was there to the rescue! Syres was so nice and got a chair from the back for my Mom to sit on as she explained how, why and what she needed. In the end they managed to locate the part! A good ending! We recently went back to purchase the amazing sponge that is Made in Israel and works excellently on many surfaces. Syres again was so nice and courteous and opened the door for us to welcome us in. Awesome customer service. Our dishwasher motor burnt out and needed a new one. We went to one of the big box stores to see if they had a replacement part and they sent us to ReliableParts. They were closed on Sunday but went on Monday. We went in and they were a bit busy but didn't wait too long to get help.
