I visited the store in Kirkland, WA. Must be relatively new because a carpet store used to be in the same location. Store is clean and well lit. Three people working the counter when I arrived and taking care of a couple of customers. So I strolled up and down four aisles. One customer remained. One employee disappeared. The other stood staring at a monitor. No acknowledgment that I had been in the store for 10 minutes. So I left. That's the first time the big guy lifted his eyes. If you work retail, customer service entails taking some initiative. Convenient to have a plumbing supply store in town. But if employees want to stare at a monitor instead of offering assistance, then the convenience doesn't matter. read more

First things first, as someone who has been inside many Ferguson's in 5 different states, this one is very nice. Smaller yes but very well stocked with a good selection and excellently staffed and super easy parking. Also if you happen to be a woman in the trades and are looking for a great Ferguson to go to-go to this one and ask for Courtney. She was incredibly helpful with my order and very, very knowledgeable and even took the trouble to order my parts out of two separate warehouses so they would arrive at the same time. Definitely a great experience shopping at this location. Will definitely be back. read more

Their customer service person Courtney lapierre has got to be the worst customer service person I have ever dealt with. Cannot answer the simplest questions. Says they don't have it for things they do have and has a really frustrating attitude. I don't know why they would hire someone like this for customer service but I had a terrible experience trying to pick up a few items I needed with Courtney today. Maybe Courtney should work in the back or do something else since she's extremely rude and has a bad attitude. read more

I came in for a part for my Hot Water heater after AO Smith referred me here. The salesman immediately told me they probably didn't have the part despite not looking. When I asked him to look we walked to some boxes and he said "I think it's this" but I knew the part size was wrong. Despite telling him this, he opened the box to show me whereby I showed him the part picture and he finally agreed that wasn't it. I had to press him to search for it and when he finally tracked it down he said they'd probably have to build it and it would cost $50 + shipping more than AO Smith quoted. Disappointing customer service. Phone system is the worst I have attempted to use. Seems impossible to get connected or leave a message. Walking into the showroom and looking around is amazing. Great displays and a large variety of items to compare. Don't expect any customer service. You have to wait for one to get off the phone and then they act like they are being interrupted and seem to be annoyed that they have to help or talk. I was in the Bellevue branch on Thurs/Fri (7-14-23) and after witnessing a customer being abrasive and abusive because he didn't know what he wanted or what he was asking for, I felt I needed to leave a review. I came in with pictures of a worn down pressure reducing valve. The valve itself appeared to be as old as our home. I didn't know the brand or model, just the size. The tag on the top was essentially blank. The guy at the counter showed me what was in stock and we compared it to the pictures that had. None of them really matched what I had. The guy was able to show me where on the valve to find the right information. Fast forward a week, I came back to the store with as much of the information as possible, worked with the same guy, and was able to get the part ordered. It arrived two days later at my home. In the box were installation instructions and all the parts needed to get it setup. One YouTube video and 20 minutes later, im all done. Thanks for all the help! read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I'm close to contacting a lawyer about how to proceed to get my money back. I purchased items for my remodel, several which my contractor never picked up as they weren't needed. A simple refund was in order- that was the first week of November. The last thing you want when you walk into any retail store is to get a used car salesman vibe from the store employees, but that's what we got here, despite the fact the front desk guys were super nice & friendly, and even remembered us between our multiple visits. The "salesman" working with us did so while sitting behind his desk, instead of standing up and walking 3 feet to show us kitchen faucets, his focus very much on whatever was happening on his computer screen instead of us. When I proposed waiting until he was done with what he was working on, he insisted he can multitask. Indeed this was the feeling we got throughout the store, that we were not the top priority of the employees, despite the fact that there seemed to be 1.5 - 2 times more employees than customers on hand. In the end, we chose our faucet in the store but ordered it from another local store and for a lower price to boot. read more

I'm a fan of Ferguson's staff's helpfullness at the local Bellevue branch. They saved me tons of hassle with my toilet. I had a leaking 9 year old American Standard toilet. The rubber gasket was the problem, and nothing at Home Depot or Lowes could replace it. It was a Saturday, and I was supposed to be going on vacation and I was getting desperate. Ferguson was the only place open in Bellevue. When I arrived, none of the shelves had the part. I talked to the staff and one (the manager?) went to the back room. He came back with authentic American Standard he salvaged from another broken toilet and gave the parts to me for free. Didn't ask for any money. I would recommend you talk with the staff about your problem and they can help you out! read more

Don't buy from Ferguson. Our contractor went through them for our bath fixtures including shower fixtures, sinks, faucets, and toilets. It's possible that they use one set of showroom fixtures and swap them out for cheaper quality products upon delivery. Most everything we purchased has needed repair or replacement. Mirabelle products (their in-house brand) are particularly bad. Employees care only about the sale and don't give a damn about service or support once a faulty product needs replacement. Don't buy though Ferguson. Save yourself the money and the headaches and go elsewhere! read more

Wow, where do I start? Ferguson in Bellevue, Wa. is the most disorganized, bureaucratic place with the worst service and questionable ethic I've ever experienced in this type of store. I purchased 2 sink faucets and one bathroom light fixture. My salesperson, who was on loan from the Seattle store, was very flippant and cocky acting. She spoke very condescendingly towards me with comments like I had her completely confused, etc. etc. The type of comments where you expect a roll of the eyes with. She spoke down to me like I was an idiot. There was a complete lack of professionalism. My contractor advised me that I had made some wrong purchases and we had to start over. I had to go back to the flip salesperson who advised me there is a restocking fee up to 25%! I pointed out that the contract is very confusing and contradictory on this. It begins by saying "buyer may return any product which Seller stocks with no restrocking fee.....". Much further down, at the end, it states the caveat that unless the seller doesn't stock the items there could be the cost of restocking. NOWHERE does it state the amount of the fee. I won't post the entire clause here but trust me that it is very contradictory and non-specific. I pointed out to my salesperson that when we buy something from them we AREN'T told where the items are coming from and from who! So how would we know when we decide to make that purchase if the items will carry a restock fee. THEY SHOULD ALWAYS POINT THIS OUT AND MAKE YOU AWARE. On top of that I was given many differing stories. One person in the client service team told me 15%. The next person in the client service team told me 25%. When I asked my salesperson about the fees she threw up her hands and claimed "I have nothing to do with that. There's a separate department that handles all of that. I don't make the rules". Then the Client Service Team tells me that they follow the salesperson's orders! That it's the salesperson who decides if there is a fee and how much! I was lied to by the salesperson. She decided to fine me and how much. Plus I was told the items I was cancelling came from OTHER FERGUSON warehouses around the country. So I argued that according to the contract then this means there shouldn't be a restocking fee. Then I was told the items came directly from Delta and Delta requires a restocking fee. Which was it?? That takes me to the next problem........ Ferguson operates like a government bureaucracy. All calls go through their call desk. You can't just call the warehouse to see if your items have arrived. You can't just call a person on their direct line. Call the number on the salesperson's card and it takes you to the call center somewhere out in never never land. You can't call the warehouse directly to see if your order is in. It's a bureaucracy with the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing. They'd do much with communicating with clients if they took out all the middlemen. Next problem...... on a previous order with Ferguson's the store told me my items were in and ready for pickup. I drive there and no, they weren't in. This has happened 2 times with Ferguson , Bellevue. As usual it was always someone else's responsibility. Spoke to the supervisor in the "Client service team" and she wouldn't budge on the huge restocking fee. Sent back to the regular client service team employee who told me that the return would be processed and it will take up to 7 business days for it to show on my visa. Two weeks later it's still not on my Visa so I called again and spoke to the supervisor. She told me that if I want the credit they need my credit card number! She also asked me if my salesperson requested my credit card number and implied she should have. I told her NO, no one has ever asked for it even the client service team person who told me it was being processed! Again, it's always someone else's responsibility. After this experience I remembered why , the last time I worked with Ferguson, I told myself to never buy from them again. This time I mean it. I told them that if I go into a showroom and someone there gives me suggestions and advice I WON'T go home and order it online. Maybe I'm old-fashioned but I have a sense of ethics and I won't do that. I could have ordered these items online from efaucets, Amazon, a number of others and saved money. But I decided the right thing to do was to buy from them! I ended up paying more than I needed to and then had a huge restocking fee on top of it. I could've sent them back myself for far less than they charged me. In the end my old-fashioned ideas didn't pay off. They apparently don't care. So in the future I'm going to do what most people do - check out the items in their store and then order somewhere else online. The store doesn't stock everything but have enough to get the idea. It seems as though the sales people here are given little salary and really survive by commissions because as soon as you pay them its a struggle to get them to talk with you. We spent in the $30k range and got left in the dust as soon as we paid them. We asked that delivery be delayed by a couple of weeks because of the remodel schedule and were flatly told they would not do this and delivered all appliances to a dusty/busy construction site! After 2 weeks of using the GE Washer (don't buy) it broke, so I called Ferguson for service and it took over 2 days for someone to call me and give me GE's service number (I should have figured this out myself). Here is how I recommend you deal with Ferguson, if you need to physically see an appliance, etc. then go, look and buy elsewhere! read more

Had my bathroom basin faucet mysteriously come apart. I first tried Lowe's and Home Depot and learned absolutely nothing. Then I went to the Ferguson parts department, located on 132nd street (separate location from the showroom). They were incredibly helpful. They even found and made copies of the faucet schematic and installation instructions. Following those I was able to reassemble my faucet (zero cost). They spent around ten minutes assisting me and are true "plumbing heroes" in my book. read more
