    Hotdog with quail eggs.
    Sam H.

For some reason, I came in this cafe without realizing that previous restaurant was closed, I was oh no, I was not in mood for this but I'm already here so ordered a hot dog with quail eggs which is unheard. Once I bit it, I was blown out, eating a hotdog is not my thing but this one is a wow! If you like hotdogs, go to this place!

I drove there to try it and looked all around the parking lot...It's permanently closed!

The best falafel in the tampa bay area hands down, every meal is fresh and made to order!

The wait was about 45 minutes, but it was completely worth it!! The Olive Tree Sampler is a must, so you can try a bit of everything. We also ordered three chicken shawarma sandwiches and the mixed grill for the table. Everything was just as good as we remembered. FYI they serve Matrix, a Jordanian zero-sugar cola. It doesn't taste like Diet Coke, but it's a fun part of the authentic experience and worth trying. Looking forward to bringing more people here. If you haven't tried Chef Yousef's food yet, put Olive Tree on your list!

The food is tasty here! The falafel has to be some of the best I've had in Tampa. Our table enjoyed…read morethe grape leaves and hummus as well. Another star was the warm yogurt sauce that had me wanting to eat it like soup! We also tried the beef and chicken schwarma sandwiches, the mixed grill platter and Chef Yosef's famous dish Mansaf. I wish I could have enjoyed a crisp white wine with this meal, however they do not serve alcohol here. Maybe they could consider a BYOB option in the future. We got a cute booth by the window and enjoyed the natural light and beautiful plants along the front of the restaurant. I wish our service would have been better though. Our waitress seemed distracted and maybe a bit overwhelmed by the amount of tables she had. Overall I don't think I would go back to dine in again but would consider take out.

I have tried the gyro salad, FYI huge portion, zucchini fries, spinach pies, and more. Everything was delicious. You can pick up the food, they will run it out to you. You take a menu and they ask you if it's to go or if you want to sit out on the back patio, where they offer about seven tables all under umbrellas. The decor is very cute, full of flowers. Some live flowers and wall hangers welcoming you. The food was absolutely phenomenal! My gyro was extremely fat and full of meat. The sauce was excellent and they use authentic Greek yogurt instead of the cucumber sauce and it's very very good. The sandwich and the fries were so much that I couldn't eat them all. It's enough for a second meal. Everything is clean, great service, great food. If you have not yet tried Pitaluv I highly recommend you give it a try. This is by far the best combo greek/ American place that I have found. And like I said, they treat you like your family. It's not fake like some of the other Greek places. I'm very happy and if I could give them 10 stars, I would, this is a very highly recommended little restaurant and you have to try it. It is that phenomenal. They cook even came out and asked me if my PETA bread had been toasted to my happiness, and I was surprised with that as well. They care about their food and they care about the authenticity of their food. I can't wait to go back again, and I will be bringing other people with me as well. I hope you take the time to give this little restaurant a try. I know you won't regret it! Bravo, well done! There is a handicapped parking spot plenty of room for handicap wheelchairs or whatever on the back patio you can get into the store if you're handicapped as well. I didn't go into the restroom so I don't know if it had a handicap stall. I would say this place is great for all kinds of people whether it's kids or adults or small parties. But if you're gonna have a large party, consider them for food.

My boyfriend and I visited this food truck, and the person working there (Aman or Amar) addressed only him, completely ignoring me. While we were deciding what to order, he told my boyfriend not to listen to a woman, saying that a man doesn't need a woman to make a decision and that he would make him great shawarma man to man. This was on my birthday, and it completely ruined my day. When I confronted him for being openly sexist, he did not apologize to me. Instead, he apologized to my boyfriend. When I mentioned that I was Muslim, he finally said "Sorry, Muslim to Muslim," which made me realize that if I had not been Muslim, I might not have received any apology at all. He also told us he is the owner, which means this is not just a problem with an employee - it is the owner himself who is sexist. I have lived in the U.S. for years and have never experienced such blatant gender discrimination. I was shocked, hurt, and deeply disappointed. No customer should be treated this way. I am including a photo for reference.
