Went here for the first time for a Sunday AM breakfast. A cozy little spot w a handful of two tops, and friendly staff to help if you've never been there (like us). Wife and I shared an apple and caramel crepe (plenty for us as we're not big eaters) and is was sweet and tasty w fresh ingredients. So good we didn't even get a pic! If ya like crepes, this is a great spot!!

We decided to try this place after watching Charlie from local news eat here. Wow! The crepes were amazing and all made from scratch! If you enjoy healthy, nutritious organic and delicious food, this is the perfect place. I had the banana & strawberry crepe & my husband had the ham, Avocado & cheese, totally fulfilling. Highly recommend for breakfast or lunch.

The crepes were absolutely delicious! The best bite was the banana jam on the banana Dream. The crepes weren't too sweet and had a lot of different textures from the toppings.

Drove 45 minutes to try this place. Saw it on TikTok so me and my friends headed out. They don't…read moretake reservations unless you are a large party, which for those you can reserve the top floor. It's an old house that's been transformed into a restaurant and each room has a theme. Super tight and small private parking lot so recommend parking on the road. All parking is free. When we arrived it was around 11:40ish and the wait time was 1 hour! Yes we waited. I was starving. We got called around the 40 minute mark. Taken to our table and waited and waited and waited -- probably 20ish minutes later we got our order taken! Drinks came out and the ice was already lacking, you could tell it was melted. They were out of the butterfly tea. The regular iced tea I ordered unsweetened with a bit of sweet was bitter and very dark in color. Bleh. For food I ordered the Honey You Must Try This which is fried chicken, spinach, tomato, crispy onion straws, house made cream cheese and honey mustard on top. The crepe itself was good but there was nothing that set this place apart for me! It did need more dressing and I think they forgot my cream cheese because I didn't see or taste it. Took awhile for the food to come out. Overall we were there a little over 2 hours! Crazy! The place is crazy busy and I'm not sure if it's a staffing issue or what but some improvements are needed. They need more shade in the front areas where they have benches and such for guests to wait. It's FL and the heat is no joke! The AC inside doesn't feel cold because so many people are inside and it's an old house. Staff and service is lacking. Not once did we get checked on during our time here. Actually if we needed something we had to get up and find someone or wait until they came to another table and flag them down. Decor is great and cute.

The Wooden Rooster: Where My Morning Got Its Life Together Before I Did…read more Listen... I came here expecting "just a crepe." What I got was a full-on personality upgrade. First off--the vibe. Somehow it's better than Kraft (yeah I said it), but like... calmer, cooler, and not screaming at you before coffee. It's peaceful, shady, low-noise... the kind of place where you feel like you should start journaling or making better life decisions. Now let's talk food. I ordered The B.E.A.S.T. and I'm not exaggerating when I say this thing deserves its own documentary. Bacon. Pesto. Sun-dried tomatoes. Eggs. It was like every breakfast all-star showed up and said, "Let's absolutely dominate this guy's morning." Perfect balance. Crispy, creamy, savory... I took one bite and immediately forgave myself for everything I've ever done wrong. And honestly? This is a WAY better place to start your morning than the bagel place down the street. You know the one. We've all settled for it. We don't have to live like that anymore. Also--huge shoutout to the service. These people were so nice I almost asked if they wanted to come manage my personal life too. Fast, friendly, and somehow still chill. Bonus points for the menu because where else can you go from a Nutty Joe dessert crepe to a Cubano crepe to a PB&J throwback without anyone questioning your life choices? Final verdict: If you're in downtown St. Pete and not coming here, you're making your mornings unnecessarily harder than they need to be. Wooden Rooster didn't just feed me-- it emotionally supported me.
