Only because they are really no longer a retail place. In case Yelp doesn't change their listed hours, they are "open" from 10:30-ish to 4:00-ish Monday through Friday and noon-ish to 4:00-ish on Saturdays. I say "-ish" because I spoke with the owner after going there at 9:00 and they were closed. Those are the new business hours he gave me. He said they are mainly a manufacturing business rather than a retailer because of covid. He *might* be there at 10:30 or one of his employees *might* have opened it at 10:30, so it is best to text him first to see if he is there. Same for Saturdays. His menu is really pared down now, too, so you may want to text him and see if your favorite drink or treat is still offered. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Best place in Tucson for Kombucha! Don't pass this place up next time you're in town!

It's nice to have a kombucha place local to Tucson. You can frequently find them at farmer's markets in addition to their South Tucson brick and mortar. Overall, I like the selection of flavored kombucha. They even have other cafe drinks (like fancy coffees) if fermented tea isn't your jam. This is just my personal preference, but I do think the flavor is a little weak. A side by side comparison with GTs, which is very punchy, makes FTC taste watered down. But, again, may just be my taste. Give this place a try! read more

Great kambucha, great service , sampled lots of their stuff and got lots of recommendations

I found out about this company when my boss came back from lunch with a set of kombucha bottles. I was so intrigued that I ventured out the next day at lunch to check them out and the people behind the counter were outstanding! They inform you of everything and answer any questions you have. The kombucha is great and so many different flavors just ready to go in the fridge upfront. I saw a recent sign saying they have boba kombucha and it looks and sounds amazing, I will definitely be around soon to try this out. I'm new to kombucha so this was an exciting treat. They had 8 different flavors on tap and I sampled 3. Chatted with the owner for about minutes about fermentation and had a good look around. It's something that is natural and good for your body a must try for everyine. The take away is that my drink (prickely pear) was light and refreshing, not sour and tart like I was expecting. I absolutely, love, love, love their Kombucha. And I actually love, love, love all their flavors too. FTC not only makes a high quality product, locally, but their story is pretty darn remarkable too. If you're not familiar with Kombucha, here is a great explanation/description from the FTM website: " ​Kombucha is fermented tea. It is a drink made by transferring sugar and caffeine to a probiotic rich drink by lowering the PH, ending with incredibly low sugar and caffeine amounts. What a Local Gem! This was my first adventure with Kombucha. I couldn't be happier. I tried the savory Mochabucha. My friend enjoyed her tasty Kombuchai. Scott was extremely helpful while educating us about the healthy benefits of Kombucha and allowing us to try several samples until we settled upon our favorite for the day. I love this place. Has the best fermented tea. Love that it's local. Great selection of flavors. The owners are some of the sweetest people I've ever met as well. If you've never had fermented tea or bad fermented tea, I suggest you go try them out. Their tea is not like the big labels you see in the regular grocery store. I love me some kombucha! So, when I saw a kombucha place on my side of town I could not wait to stop. In fact, I never seen a place with kombucha on tap. I was giddy. I mentioned the place on a daily basis to my husband. I'm famous for that, especially when we drive past it. Today, I had to take matters into my own hand and make it happen. It's in a strip mall along with Chopstix Asian Diner and some crossfit place. Outside they had a bicycle with plants planted in the basket- very cute. Inside they had kombucha on tap and bottled. I asked the worker what his favorite was and he said prickly pear and offered me a sample. The other flavor was cherry cream. Why did I not sample that one too?! They had two sizes a 12 oz and a 20 oz. Go big or go home. I went with the 20 oz. Ran me about 4.75. It was not served over ice but was nice, cold, and refreshing in a plastic cup with a straw. It had a nice fizz, dare I say effervescent? I did not see any particles floating in this kombucha, which he said was made from white tea. The particles are commonly referred to as scoby or the mother which is the bacteria and yeast. They also served tea and coffee but I paid little attention. I was there for the nectar of the gods. Is it an immortal health elixir, not sure but I sure like to pretend it is. Regardless, it's tasty. There were a few tables set up, but I got my drink to go. They also had cookies like lavender and mesquite as well as kale chips and sweet potato black bean empanadas. Man, I hope they sick around. read more

FTC! Fermented Tea Company or Fantastic Tasting Concoction? I've been drinking kombucha for several years and FTC is by far the BEST! It has a cleaner, smoother, refreshing taste. It may be the fact that it is so fresh. Being the only kombucvha manufacturing company in Arizona supply is certainly in demand. Check out the health benefits as well. They also server coffee and an array of goodies. I cannot expound upon the taste and quality that others have testified to in their reviews. It simply IS the best! When my husband and I travel we thoroughly enjoy seeking out cafes, shops, markets, etc that are indigenous to an area. So much more fun and memorable. Tracy the owner was incredibly friendly and took her time to explain the history behind each flavor. There is plenty for everyone! Orangenilla, Prickly Pear, Ginger zest and my favorite of all was Purple rain a floral blend of Earl Grey Tea infused with I lavender and bergamot and finishing with a touch of Jasmine. I loved it !
