Food is amazing, I can't choose as everything is so good. My favorite salad is the sanoma salad and I love the seafood pasta and ask for them to make it spicy. The chips and salsa are great exactly how a traditional salsa should taste. My son gets a Carnita taco and side of sautéed veggies and fries. My daughter loves the nacho fries and all of the creamy pasta. A the service is good I just wish the waitresses would present the amazing specials they have that way I don't have to keep getting up to see or take pictures of the big board. The food is so good!! i love the cali fries, the chipotle sauce is perfectly spicy. i come here everytime i come back home to visit bc it's just so good. the lowering of stars though is for their inconsistent hours. I come today @ 5 and also previously a few times during times they should've been open but they were closed with no explanation note written on the door either. Wish they were active on any platform to let people know when/if they'll be closed bc it ends up being a huge inconvenience driving all the way there. food is amazing so i'm sure i'll keep coming back and getting food when i can but would jus appreciate some better communication about the hours! read more

Been here four, five times now and am so impressed. Has become the one lunch spot that doesn't disappoint. I've always got something from their specials menu and been impressed. We went for dinner on a Thursday night. The restaurant was not crowded and we were able to get a table immediately. Our server was friendly and gave us some suggestions. We ordered the Cali fries , siracha honey chicken and the chips and salsa. Everything was good. We got the fries with carnitas. The siracha chicken was crispy and the sauce was good. The homemade chips were good too. We tried the mango and peach margaritas too. Yum. We will definitely return to try some of the other food items. read more

Ambiance is great - vibrant Mexican vibes with good lighting and noise. The service is great because they always check up on you even though it's busy. And the FOOD was great! We got the quesa-birria plate special and I'd have to say that it is one of the best in town. Also, for appetizers we went with the Siracha chicken. The chicken itself was good with the seasonings but the ranch they served it with was a little too runny for me. Overall, I would def come back for more of what they have to offer. read more

This place has gone downhill exponentially! Used to be a go to place but after most recent visit will never return. Not busy on weekend when we decided to meet up with friends for dinner. Service was adequate and limited and I suspect it is due to what has been expressed by other diners and that is the language barrier, no big deal as this was expected. Ordered our food which consisted of appetizers, entrees, and dessert. Siracha strips and chips/salsa as appetizers was probably the highlight of the meal. I ordered the calamari stuffed with crab. It was mediocre at best as the calamari steak tasted previously frozen and crab was likely from can and not lump as advertised. The evening was capped by the desserts of flan and "home made" peach cobbler...it was criminal to serve these. The flan was more like a custardy cheesecake without any flambe. The cobbler was preserved peaches only with non-existent crust and drizzled with "caramel". Both were disappointing to say the least. We received our UNITEMIZED check and no paper receipt was available for review so opted for email receipt which when we reviewed it all prices were markedly inflated from what was printed on the menu! This transaction just felt so shady which capped off an already poor experience. Yuba City has so limited options for any type of dining which for us just got more limited. read more

Place a phone order at 7:34pm last night and ordered the shrimp scampi pasta and then another order without shrimp I asked the lady if it would be the same price she said it should be cheaper since one has no shrimp. I went inside at 7:41pm and asked to pay the check the ladies told me its not ready yet i said ok. I asked the total for the orders the lady checked and didnt give me answer. I asked when will my order will be ready and they ignored me and didnt respond.So I waited another 35 minutes and then was told the manager said they are super busy right now so I left. If waisted time. Thats very unprofessional why take my order then have me waiting for 45 minutes. Very bad customer service l will not recommend. read more

I posted the first review of this place, which was a great experience, and all I can say is that it has somehow gotten even better. This man is a legit chef. If this place was in Downtown Sacramento or the Bay Area, I'm confident he could charge 50% more for his food and people would still come and eat it. For some odd reason, they include a side of raw tomato and red onion. The green salsa on the side is scrumptious! The meat was good; a tad bit too dry for my liking. We stopped by on a friday evening, the place is small but nice. We sat at a table right in front of bar area, and were greeted by both the cook and the server right away, they were very nice. We went over the menu, it was limited, but that is usually a good sign! We picked the Calamari for an appetizer, my daughter had the Cali Burrito, while the wife and I both chose the Chipotle Shrimp pasta. The appetizer came out within minutes. The Calamari was lightly breaded, served with Chipotle mayo and chili sauce, and was very fresh and delicious. Our entrees also arrived very quickly. The Cali Burrito was good size and my daughter loved it. Our Pasta was amazing, creamy with a little spice. The staff was amazing, the were very interactive, funny, and we never waited for anything. Would give 5 stars if not for a burrito filled with slimy, wet French fries. C'mon! If I wanted French fries, I would go to a burger restaurant. The Cali burrito was a horrible disappointment. No beans, very little meat and about a tablespoon of cheese. Hubby won't return because of it. And the people at the next table were saying this restaurant has the best food in town. Oh no. I hope they never order the wet French fry burrito. I was going to have fish tacos but the fish is battered and fried. The crab stuffed salmon was amazing.
