This little pizza shack makes good handmade pies in a multitude of ways. Along with pasta, sandwiches and salads there is something on the menu for most tastes and though I've only tried their pizza if it is any indicator then everything should be pretty tasty as well. A buddy stopped by recently for a visit and brought a Ferndale Pizza with him in the take it and bake it mode (saves you a few bucks versus them baking it for you). This is a large pie, with a lot of weight to it and at about $20 bucks is enough to feed 3-6 people and its loaded with ingredients. Really good crust that bakes up nicely and browns properly on the baking tray on which it was prepared. Baked at 450 degrees for about 15 minutes. The pizza itself was good, lots of with fresh ingredients not my first choices but since my friend brought I rolled with it, it was a little bit on the thick side to my preference but definitely better than the national chain options in the same price point. I plan to revisit on my own and will re-evaluate again on my preferred toppings and crust of choice, or maybe a pasta dish. I made reservations for a party of 11. The restaurant kindly put us in our own table at the back of the restaurant where we had privacy. Some in our party had gluten intolerances and one was a vegan.
