Came all the way here from New York and we are always hesitant to try pizza in other places. We were looking for a quick bite to eat for dinner. We walked in towards the end of their night and closed the place which was unfortunate but necessary. Even though it was late, they were still happy to serve us and were very friendly. I got lasagna and they give you fresh baked bread. The chicken was SO generous and the lasagna was soooo good. The sauce was well-seasoned and rich with tomato. I loved the texture of the chicken parmesan. It had a good amount of cheese on top. I loved it. Staff were so nice! This little pizza shack makes good handmade pies in a multitude of ways. Along with pasta, sandwiches and salads there is something on the menu for most tastes and though I've only tried their pizza if it is any indicator then everything should be pretty tasty as well. A buddy stopped by recently for a visit and brought a Ferndale Pizza with him in the take it and bake it mode (saves you a few bucks versus them baking it for you). This is a large pie, with a lot of weight to it and at about $20 bucks is enough to feed 3-6 people and its loaded with ingredients. Really good crust that bakes up nicely and browns properly on the baking tray on which it was prepared. Baked at 450 degrees for about 15 minutes. The pizza itself was good, lots of with fresh ingredients not my first choices but since my friend brought I rolled with it, it was a little bit on the thick side to my preference but definitely better than the national chain options in the same price point. I plan to revisit on my own and will re-evaluate again on my preferred toppings and crust of choice, or maybe a pasta dish.
