Fernando is a pleasure to work with! He and his crew, Jose and Melvin, painted our bedrooms. They did a great job! They showed up on time and worked hard! Fernando even did a paneled accent wall in one of the bedrooms (see pics). I drew it out and had my specific measurements and he brought it to life! He did a great job :-) we are very happy how it turned out. There were a few areas that needed touch up after the paint dried and he came back right away. He has done work for a couple of my neighbors/friends and all are happy with his work. We will be using him for future projects (kitchen cabinets, bathrooms, etc) and have already referred him to a few of my other neighbors/friends. I have to also mention that I love the fact that he does not smoke nor do his workers (at least not at the job site). I really appreciate that. I've had work done in the past where the service person smokes and it really bothers me because it comes into my house. it may not be a big deal to some people but it is to me. Had Fernando's team paint the interior of our house and although they were responsive and great with creative choices, the final details were not great! A lot of defects were identified for touch ups at the end which were not budgeted for in the project timeline. Unfortunately would not recommend this painter for a residential paint job! read more

We obtained four estimates for painting the exterior of our two story 7100+ square foot house. Fern's Painting provided the lowest estimate. Because of his many years of experience and positive Yelp reviews, we gave him the job. In addition to him and his crew doing an excellent job including replacing damaged wood around the windows, priming and painting, he also performed work outside the scope of the estimate, such as removing a bees nest, removing and hauling away a deteriorated fence, re-attaching an outdoor mercury vapor lamp to the building, plus other repairs, at no extra cost. We are so incredibly impressed with Fern's Painting & More. Fernando was extremely thorough and knowledgeable in his walk through for the initial estimate and gave us a very fair, affordable price. We knew immediately that we were in good hands and he did not disappoint. He and his team took their time to prep the outside of the house with painstaking attention to detail. Not one crack or crevice was left unsealed. Old wood was either replaced or sanded and power washed, and broken stucco was fixed. He even built custom window frames for us! Fernando and his crew were absolutely incredible. We just bought a home that desperately needed a new coat of paint throughout (including all the doors, baseboards, and trim!) but we only had a few days to get the job done. All other painters I contacted couldn't commit, but Fernando assured us he could get it done. Whereas other painters were flaky, Fernando was quick with his replies and dedicated to finishing on time. He was also very detail oriented and a perfectionist in his work. He finished the job fast, but that didn't effect the quality at all. Not to mention the price was extremely reasonable. No one else could have done it so quickly or so well. We had someone else do some drywall work and paint in our house. They destroyed the whole room! We then Interviewed and got quotes from 8 different people to repair the mess he had made. Both my husband and I immediately liked Fernando, he was low key and clearly genuine. He's been a painter for many, many years and is now going out on his own, so he didn't have a lot of reviews. Despite that, my husband and I both felt we should give him a try and it was the best decision we had made all year! Fernando and his crew were polite, respectful and unbelievably competent. They had to repair the previous idiot's mess before they could do anything and boy, did they do that! The room looks amazing! His attention to detail was amazing too. He didn't like how our baseboards looked so he painted them, even though that wasn't covered by his quote. He was not going to leave the room in anything but perfect condition! This is a man who takes extreme pride in his work.
