Incredibly disrespectful... can't say I'm surprised considering the Ferrari stereotype. I'll stick with my McLaren.

Overdue review…read more.. Excellent MB dealership. Hans, Ryan, and Trent were a pleasure to meet and work with. I went in looking to buy a new 2020 S560 sedan, and test drove that, along with the S450, CLS450 and the E43. S560 sedan was the real winner, for me and my desires... We have a Mercedes Benz dealership in LP (Fletcher Jones), and frankly, the prices were comparable. However, the Knauz team was far more knowledgeable, personable, and informative. I really appreciated the customer service here (esp Hans). When you're spending 6 figures on a new car, you expect nothing but stellar service, and the Knauz team delivered. Knauz has plenty of options if you're looking for an S class Benz. More options of the 2020 S560 here than in the city. The S560's trunk space is large- it fits a stroller, luggage, and other bulky belongings. The back seats are ultra comfortable, and the NUNA Pipa Lite LX car seat + base fits nicely back there (it was a struggle with another car we own). The ride is so incredibly smooth that it feels like you're floating on clouds. We bought an additional 3 years of the extended warranty for the sedan, giving us 7 years in warranty; the extended warranty at Fletcher Jones was extremely limited. The S560 is a beauty. We love it as our family car; it's the best ride we've driven yet (the Maybach was nice, with even more space, but too loud for us)! Thank you Hans, Ryan, and Trent! **If buying a car upfront, they may ask for a deposit; you can, then, do a wire transfer or cashier's check to pay for the vehicle in full.

UPDATE: I took three weeks to update this experience, since that is how long it took them to get…read moreback to us. The team (Tim-Salesman & Jason-GM) did reach out to us and apologize; however, Dan Raba, Sales Manager) Who Jason said would get back to me never really did. He played text games like a 12-year-old schoolgirl. Even when I called and left him a message, he never actually called me back. Not what I would expect out of an adult Sales Manager. Dan should be lucky he does not work for me, as he would be gone for his lack of maturity and ability to follow up with customers. Anyways, the Honda of Libertyville Team did pull through in the end by not being able to locate the floormats and purchased a really nice high-end matching Ford Bronco floormat. Better than expected. In all fairness, they initially tried to play the game of we will get you the carpet mats, or if you remove the review, you can get the high-end mats. I explained to them that I'm kind of about principle, in case you haven't noticed. Strong-arming does not work for me. That's not going to happen, in case you can't tell. I said, put yourself in my shoes during this experience, how would you feel? They said point well taken. So in the end, Team Honda of Libertyville pulled through, but they just got off to a really, and I mean really, slow start. In all fairness, without this post, I'm not certain how things would have ended. But they ended well. The End - Semi-Upset Customer ********************************************************************************************************************** I had a terrible experience with Honda of Libertyville and want to warn anyone considering buying a vehicle there. On March 28, 2026, I purchased a used 2024 Ford Bronco from them. When I first saw the car, it had carpeted floor mats and sunroof covers in the trunk. During the financing process, the dealership took the car to "detail" it. When I got home later that day, the floor mats were gone. My son reached out to our salesman, **Timothy Koszczuk**, about the missing mats, and his response was dismissive -- suggesting we "check the we-owe." There was no "we-owe"; the mats were in the vehicle when we bought it, and the dealership misplaced them. I then spoke to the sales manager, **Zeeshan**, who said he'd look into it but never followed up. After that, I emailed the new general manager, **Jason Bulthuis**, on April 1st, 2026. He didn't reply until I called him on April 3rd, 2026. To his credit, he apologized and agreed the situation wasn't handled properly. Jason said he'd have his used-car sales manager, **Daniel Raba**, take care of it, and even offered to buy a replacement set near my home rather than making me drive back. That sounded great -- until they both stopped responding entirely. GHOSTED AGAIN It's now been well over two weeks, and I've received zero communication despite further calls and emails. Every person I dealt with there has failed to follow up or take responsibility (over a lousy set of $150-$200 car mats on a $45,000 car). Once they make the sale, it seems customer service stops completely. I'll never buy from this group again. Do yourself a favor -- take your business somewhere that values integrity and follow-through. Honda of Libertyville has shown me they do not. I hope the owner of Honda of Libertyville (Murgado Automotive Group, led by CEO Mario Murgado) sees this and knows who he has working for him. Absolutely pathetic !!! Tarnishing his trusted name over a few hundred bucks. Just wait until I pay to have a Blow Up Rat placed outside on the sidewalk protesting on a Saturday, how crappy the service is. I wonder how many deals will turn away. Well over $200 worth, I'm sure. The End - One Angry Customer

After thoroughly inspection the technician named Adrian stated that he will need to replaced the strut due to leakage. That being said, they provided a courtesy vehicle, allowing us to carry on with our day at no extra charge, which made things much easier for us. Whoever completed all the work on the vehicle, did an amazing job. The service at Karl Knauz is truly impeccable. From the moment you arrive, you're treated with professionalism, transparency, and genuine care. Kristy from service department is knowledgeable, attentive, and takes the time to explain everything clearly, making the entire experience seamless and stress-free. It's rare to find this level of service and attention to detail...exactly what you expect from the BMW brand. Highly recommend.

When you're selling a classic "restored" car, it should not look like a 50 year old vehicle. Gauges not working, turn signals not working, no information on the engine, suspension from the 70s, and there's was more wrong. This place may be ok for newer vehicles. However, if you're looking for a classic vehicle, look somewhere else. UPDATE: Since the reply to my original post wants to try to discredit my concerns, I guess now I'll justify a little more. First, the add no longer says "No expense was spared". Also, now states "older restoration". Looking at the pictures, from the same add mind you, is it 1 of 134 or 1 of 324? A list, or explanation of what was "restored" may help. As far as driving the car. The reply was 100% correct. No restore is perfect. Therefore, even if the body needs some work, you still drive the car. You don't know if gauges work, how the suspension feels, or if there are any wobbles or noises without driving. If it runs excellent, and everything works as it should, you then decide if the investment is worth the money needed to get it to where it needs to be. I'm not going to continue justifying my review. Please, go see the car. I can send you the original add for the car to compare. A more professional response would have been something like. "I'm sorry the vehicle didn't meet your expectations. We pride ourselves in depicting our vehicles in a true, straightforward manner. We will review the add and make any needed changes. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We look forward to doing business with you in the future."
