Strip mall situation with some confusion around validation--worth paying attention to if you go. Probably not the best fit for small kids given the tight quarters, and I wouldn't book it for a date or business meal. But for a quick, healthy lunch on your own or with a friend? It works. It's like nobody in that kitchen had ever even heard of Mexico. Sadly for them they had a diner last evening that has not only heard of it, but has been there. I lived in El Paso Texas for a number of years and I've gotten used to disappointing Mexican food ever since leaving there. But this restaurant takes the cake by far. The sad part is that just down the street there is authentic Mexican food prepared correctly, a number of real Mexican restaurants. There is some nostalgia to this place because it's located in the old Peerless mill which dates back to before World War II, but the nostalgia doesn't make up for bad food. If you own this restaurant and are reading this review, shame on you for defrauding your customers! Good honest, hard-working people come into your restaurant expecting at least a decent attempt at Mexican food, this wasn't even close!
