We ordered the sample platter, which lets you choose five different dishes. We tried the shrimp gumbo, étouffée, and red beans and rice--and somehow, the chef surprised us by bringing out six dishes instead of five! Talk about going above and beyond! Several members of our family normally aren't fans of New Orleans-style food, so we honestly weren't sure what everyone would think. Well... every single person loved it! The food was so good that the bowls were literally licked clean. Everything was packed with flavor, perfectly prepared, and clearly made with a lot of love. Then came the surprise dessert: fried blueberry bread pudding bites with a bourbon caramel glaze. WOW! The plate didn't stand a chance--we cleaned that one too! And whatever you do, DO NOT leave without trying the beignets! They were absolutely amazing and the perfect way to finish the meal. What really made the experience special, though, was the hospitality. The chef and staff made our family feel so welcome, and the generosity and care they showed us made this more than just a great meal--it was an experience we won't forget. If you are visiting Chattanooga, Tennessee, put Blue Orleans at the top of your list. You will not regret it! If we lived in Chattanooga, our family would absolutely be here once a week! Amazing food. Amazing people. Amazing experience. 10/10!

The appetizers and entree flavors definitely screams N'awlens! The staff is always very friendly, very informative, and accommodating to request. The ambience has a mid-scale/upscale flavor when it comes to their ambiance inside and with the decorations. We got invited back to one of the owners birthday party so we decided to come through. It's been great!! If you come to Chattanooga then this is a must stop location for great food that won't hurt your wallet and the portions are just right.

Kind of a letdown not really that great. We got our salad and when the person that brought our salad over, we asked for silverware so we can eat our salad and she was kind of put off by the fact that we asked her. Our meals came out brought by the same person who brought us our salads and I must admit she was extremely rude. She just tossed the meals on the table and walked away. So the owner knows it's the one that was wearing the yellow Rolling Stones shirt. I had the crawfish étouffée, it was OK there was nothing really outstanding about it. My wife had the debris, poor boy, roast beef, and the roast beef really didn't have any flavor to it. It was spicy, but there was no flavor to the meat at all. The restaurant itself is clean, but kind of poorly lit. The waitresses are dressed in my opinion inappropriately, even though it is a dive place. Skippy shorts, skimpy shirts and it's based by the server who kept bringing our food over a bad attitude. Try your own risk. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day. If I did my rating completely on food, I would give it three but based on the one waitress , I just can't give it a three.

We drove to the parking lot. It was Thursday at around 7:30 pm, and there was no one sitting inside. We considered whether to pass based on the "fast food" appearance of the place, but, because my spouse wanted crab boil, we went inside. Great decision! Ordered at a counter. I had the fried tilapia platter, which came with fries, Cole slaw and a drink. My spouse had the 1/2 pound crab leg boil, with corn and potatoes. For the boil, my spouse got to select her spicing (garlic, old bay and a few other choices, including combination of all the spices), as well as level of spiciness (hot, medium, mild, etc). We got our drinks and sat for just a few minutes. Then the staff brought out a tray with three large and nicely breaded pieces of tilapia, a large portion of fries and a small, but very tasty portion of slaw. The tray included ketchup packets, packets of tarter sauce, hot sauce and mustard. The tilapia was delicious and I marveled at the size of the pieces, the moistness of the fish and the very nice seasoning of the breading. I was very pleased with my meal. My spouse's crab boil arrived about two minutes after mine, in a plastic bag. When she opened the bag, a beautiful and nicely seasoned portion of crab legs was revealed. My spouse thoroughly enjoyed the crab, as well as the corn and potato. It was an excellent meal. The server was friendly and s few other customers came in and we admired each other's food. We were just passing through Chattanooga, and I'm disappointed that I won't have an opportunity to go back. We definitely would have put this restaurant on our rotation for seafood. The appearance of the restaurant from the outside was a bit off-putting as being fast food, but the inside seating area was well lit, clean and comfortable. And the food was very very good. Prices also good for a decent seafood meal.

My only small complaint is I wish the crab legs weren't so skinny but I will definitely be eating here again and again. *EDIT* I came back a month later and to my surprise the food was even BETTER than it was last month! The crab legs were THICK and nowhere skinny and seasoned VERY well! I don't remember them allowing me to choose the seasoning last time so I think thats new. I really am making this my goto crab place hoping they keep this up.
