Today we stopped by Fidalgo fudge and it was alot of fun. My kids enjoyed going over all the yummy looking gummies while us adults looked over the fudge and truffles. The lady behind the counter was super nice and happy to help us. While we didn't get our normal haul we usally get from a candy store we did grab a few goodies that we really enjoyed. I got my Rocky road fudge and that was nice and rich in flavor. My kids say there gummies were yummy as well. Sadly the selection seemed rather small compared to most candy stores I have visited in other locations around Washington and Oregon but what they do have seems fresh and tasty. Over all this candy store while small is sweet and friendly and we will be back when we are back in that direction. read more

Absolutely INCREDIBLE fudge! We bought a pound. The penuche is our favorite. The raspberry chocolate, island special, and chocolate coconut were also delicious. $18 for a pound is a great deal, too! The entire place just feels fun and indulgent. There's ice cream and various candies, t-shirts, and stickers too. The employee who helped us was a young woman with short hair and glasses. She was super outgoing, friendly, and helpful. I don't know how I didn't know about this place but we will be back! read more

I'm a fudgaholic. I adore fudge so much, I'm only allowed to eat it out of town. Thankfully, Anacortes qualifies and my sweet husband humors me. Listen up people. THIS IS THE BEST FUDGE I HAVE EVER TASTED. Get the $10 fudge bites and convince yourself you'll work it off hiking. You won't but it's worth it. Well my wife went in to order and pick up some fudge for us for our trip home and the young man totally messed up the order. We bought a half pound of milk chocolate fudge and two pieces of salted caramel fudge and two pieces of peanut butter fudge. We arrived in Seattle for our flight home and we had one piece of milk chocolate and one piece of peanut butter fudge and that's it. We paid for a pound and a half and only received a half of pound. EXCELLENT QUALITY, FRESH FUDGE! Went to Anacortes on a day trip out of Oak Harbor and was pleasantly surprised to find this lovely fudge shop. They have a great selection of classic flavors and also a number of exotics, plus some other non-fudge chocolate items. I purchased three flavors all of which where soft, smooth, and delicious, as fudge should be! The owner and another employee were also so nice! I had the opportunity to try out this vendor at the Skagit Valley Tulip festival. I purchased the sample box $13-14 and chose 3 flavors: raspberry, mint & orange. This is one of the best fudges I've had. The taste was so rich and yummy! I love Chukar cherries also and was able to purchase a bag for $10. Anacortes has some great vendors! read more

I've been going into Fidalgo Fudge since Trista (Owner) opened her store front in downtown Anacortes. Let me tell you! The inside is impeccable, it looks like a beautiful fudge shoppe like you'd see in Europe or in one of the mountain resourts. The fudge, is amazing- my favorite is the maple walnut, BUT! if you haven't tried the "Habenaro Chocolate" you are seriously missing out (if you like things with a little kick!" The summertime hibiscus lemonade is amazing and refreshing, but the fall/winter drinks are so so so good. I fell in love with her "Carmel Apple Cider" forget Starbucks- this is the real deal and oh so good. As for her coffees and lattes, they are amazing- definitely worth trying! As for the staff, Trista is awesome (owner) but the girls that work for her are sweet, and kind and always have a smile on their face. I'm not sure what the previous reviewer was talking about, because all my experiences with them have been lovely. Give it a try- you won't regret it! read more

Deciding to take my daughter for a stroll through the old town of Anacortes one day with my daughter we passed by a small hole in the wall. Seeing a line of candy and chocolates through the large picture window we took a closer look at the open door. "Hello, how are you two doing?" A lady asked inside. Inviting us to take an even closer look as my daughter tried pulling me into the chocolate, fudge like dream of a store. Looking around at the individual little delights my girl asked me how much "X style" fudge & chocolate was, so I asked the lady by the register. She took a look at me and my daughter and in a very stuck-up condescending tone she would say word for word, "Well, there $6.00 each, so." My 13-year-old daughter looked at me and whispered to me, "Why did she say it like that?" Keeping my composure to the best of my fatherly ability, we would continue looking up and down the aisle. It was a very clean, nice store until we were treated as we were, but after we came up with the things we wanted, again we were spoken to like two pieces of gutter trash for no other reason than the cashier did not think we dressed well enough to afford the candies in the store. "O, are you sure you would like one of these walnut fudges?" This was no sales tactic; this was more along the lines of if you're not wearing a suit and tie then get out of this store type mentality. So, we would buy a few items and thank the young lady leaving and teaching my daughter that you should never treat another person like that, and just because someone treats you like that does not mean you need to retaliate in kind, Sometimes if you treat the rude condescending person with more respect after they do what she did to us, that may just get an apology, or they'll be more enraged because they did not get any rise out of you. But the fudge and other candies were spectacular! Whomever is making them, really has something going, but the customer service leaves something to be desired. read more
