The restaurant should have trained staff more before opening. Supervisors and Managers clearly don't communicate with eachother.

The mixed salad was just a generic greens salad you'd find at a buffet. The crab cakes had bits of hard shell bits I've never experienced in a crab cakes. The scallops are for some reason left in a sauce in a ramekin, meaning they kept cooking, meaning these were the most overcooked, rubbery, hard to choke down scallops I've had in my life. We didn't finish our meal. What a rough experience across the board. There's much better food in town for similar price points / fine dining ambiance, this is the one bad experience of our whole trip to the lake

As always, it is a great environment with dining room, patio or sunroom options. Wine or beer only, and wine prices are quite reasonable. We ordered a wonderful bottle of rose, served chilled and crisp and with just the right amount of sweetness. I ordered port wine mushroom bisque, perfectly made and creamy. For an entree I had shrimp scampi, garlicky and lemony and fabulous with a plethora of Large shrimp. We had to order dessert to share since they had coconut custard pie. Out of this world.

Bottom Line Up Front: Worth the money - YES…read moreFriends and Family Recommendation - YES Yelp Bookmark-able -YES One of my biggest pet peeves regarding dining out is spending good money on average to sub par or poor food. Rest assured, that is not the case when it comes to Stone Creek. From the moment we walked through the front door the staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The decor/ ambiance was a pleasant mix between relaxed/casual to upscale. Nothing fancy or pretentious, but welcoming and inviting. Although I'm a local I've not eaten here until tonight...a point I regret. I'm a steak snob that often finds numerous faults in a steak I get in a restaurant knowing I could do better at home. This was not the case tonight. My ribeye was cooked to perfection, was full of flavor, tender and juicy. That alone would bring me back for more, but the mushroom cream I had as a side was spectacular and took my experience to an all never level of enjoyment. My wife had the seared ahi tuna with a duck confetti fried rice. I sampled it...another success story there. I've read plenty of reviews about the price...but I'm here to tell you that the $ is in perfect alignment with the quality, flavor and portions received. I have ZERO negative comments and for the sake of brevity I can only say this.....I WILL BE BACK!!!

I left with an excruciating headache. It was not enjoyable for anyone in our party. I felt I was in a middle school cafeteria. I really don't know how you would improve the noise level. We will never go back again.

I read up on the menu and discovered they offered lamb chops which is one of my absolute favourites. A taste of home for me! Friendly and efficient staff welcomed us and showed us to our table. So far so good. Very nice young woman looked after us. My wife ordered the rigatoni and I had the chops. She loved her rigatoni so much she's finishing it off 2 days later and still loving it. Sadly my dish was a bit of a disappointment. My two large chops were extremely fatty. It's the kind you simply can't cut through on a slippery plate. Trying to separate what little meat there was from the fat was impossible so I had to give up and bring it home to a cutting board and an extremely sharp knife. I haven't tried to eat it yet but it looks as fatty as the first. Both had been totally covered by a condiment that I think should have been served in a separate container to allow the diner to regulate the amount desired. The base was a pilf which made trying to cut the chops even more difficult because every time the meat or the knife slipped, the table was showered with grains....all a bit slapstick....! As I previously said, my wife loved her meal and the previous visit was epic so I hate to criticise but I'm just trying to be honest and fair. I think $45 for a couple of very fatty chops with not much meat and smothered in a vinaigrette you might not like is a bit cheeky... In different circumstances I would have sent it back. Oh well, you live and learn...

We arrived to a busy atmosphere that quieted down throughout the night. We started with cocktails which were strong and delicious. The brussel sprout appetizer was to die for, who knew that brussel sprouts go well with blue cheese! I ordered the salmon dish which was incredible. My friend enjoyed the Greek chicken dish. We were disappointed we didn't have enough room for dessert so we'll just have to come back! Other notes: the service was friendly and there was extra parking across the street if necessary. I can't wait to be back to try their specials and seasonal menus

If you're stopping in for a drink and to hang out, it's probably a solid spot. The food, though, was a major letdown. My steak sandwich was disappointing, and the "side" of onion rings was literally four individual pieces. Four. That's not a side -- that's a garnish. The nachos were worse. Lukewarm Velveeta poured over completely unseasoned shredded chicken, brown guacamole that looked like it had been sitting out too long, and everything about it felt rushed -- like it was thrown together in two minutes without a second thought. The emphasis was clearly on quantity over quality. Her chicken sandwich wasn't any better -- bland, unseasoned, and somehow still had the pattern from the frozen packaging imprinted on the bottom. That's not a great sign. Bottom line: nice place to grab a drink. But unless you're already inebriated and not paying attention, I'd skip the food.

We originally sat outside but it was a little noisy with the cars going by at the stop light. We moved inside and had the best time. The service was great! Our waitress was so nice and attentive. I ordered Loni's red flight, one of my friends ordered the pomegranate hibiscus fizz with tequila instead of vodka, and my other friend ordered Trista's white flight. We got the crispy Brussel sprouts to start with and they were delicious. For our entrees we ordered the Mediterranean rice bowl, beer battered fish and chips, and the zesty chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. All three were really good and full of flavor. Once we finished eating the table was cleared and then I ordered a slice of carrot cake. When it was brought out they had added a candle and came over to sing happy birthday to me, including the owner, and it was the perfect finish to our dinner. The cake was amazing! Thank you so much to the staff and owner for making my birthday so special. Can't wait to come back again!
