Went here yesterday with my two daughters. We were seated on the left side of the restaurant and waited five minutes without acknowledgement from any server. Chips and salsa were brought to our table by someone who had their cellphone wedged between their ear and shoulder - mid conversation. Although the service and experience were terrible, this turned into a great opportunity to teach my daughters what to expect when going to a restaurant as we walked out without the chance to even order our drinks. read more

I went to this place for the first and LAST time. The service started great. Sat at the bar and got a drink right away. I got nachos and salsa. The waitress asked a couple of times what I wanted to eat. Very efficient I thought. After the order, service slowed to a snails pace. I ordered Texas Nachoes. Sounded good. HELL NO!! CAME OUT WATERY. There shouldn't be watery nachos. I couldn't eat anymore after half of it. Very big difference between house and Texas margaritas. You can really tell the Texas is better. For my first drink, I asked for house mango margarita. It was so so.. For my second drink, I asked for peach margarita Texas style. I got a mango about 10 minutes later but still Texas. Lety, bar tender, paid no attention to what I asked for and had to wait but the wait time was ok. The third time I asked for a small Texas peach but still got a mango. As with other Mexican restaurants, I judge my experience on the chips/cheese dip/salsa, cleanliness, and service. This is because I typically find it hard to distinguish any meaningful differences between the rest of the food at individual Mexican restaurants. Fiesta Azteca has mediocre service from typically friendly people, but their chips are general hard and thick, the salsa is watered down, and the cheese dip is decent at best. The food is usually hot and it's average in the cleanliness department, but overall I'd consider it a secondary choice for my Mexican fix. read more

I moved to this area back in January of this year and I have yet to find a truly good Mexican restaurant. Unfortunately this was another disappointment. I will start with the disclaimer that I placed a carry out order at the counter. I cannot speak to the dine-in experience here. The place was a little inconvenient to my house, but I gave it a try because the Mexican restaurants near me are less than good. I'll start by saying that the poor girl behind the counter couldn't understand which dish I was ordering because it was in Spanish. (I am not a fluent speaker, but I can pronounce and place the order from the menu.) The front area was typical of a smaller Mexican restaurant in a slightly rural area of Georgia. The prices were not. I placed an order for 2 full entrees and some extra chips and salsa. The total was almost $28. In much better places this far out, I usually pay around $20 for the same amount of food at better quality. I received my order within about 15 minutes or so which was nice for a Friday night. Unfortunately I didn't open each and every dish to check it before I left because I wanted it to be warm when I finally made it home. That was a big mistake. I got home and both orders were incomplete. The Texas fajita nachos had only meat, cheese and chips. It did not have any onions or peppers as was expected. The Camarones a la Diabla was a relatively small portion of shrimp buried in A LOT of sauce. While the sauce was good and the shrimp were ok, they missed giving me the rice and salad which were supposed to be included according to the menu. Let's face it, we all hate when we pick up food only to get it home and the order is wrong or incomplete. I didn't bother to call or go back because the place is too far from my house to bother. I won't be going back. I hate it because I REALLY NEED a good Mexican restaurant anywhere even almost near my house. read more

Great people! Try the hot and spicy burrito, it's not dangerously spicy, and has a great flavor! Queso with fresh jalepeno is amazing!!

It's clean and the staff is friendly...but the food is bland and simply put, NOT GOOD. If you're complacent with mediocrity when it comes to "stereotypical Mexican food" than this place is for you but if you're looking for FLAVOR and a bit more authenticity, there are places less then 10 mins away that will blow you away compared to this place! read more

This was, at one time, a wonderful place. They have lowered the food and service quality here considerably. I wouldn't refuse to eat here because surely they can't mess up beer, but you never know. Been living in the area since b4 they opened and had to drive to Dallas or Douglasville for Mexican. We got all excited when they started to open. We entered the restaurant, and had to wait about 15 minutes for the chips to arrive. When they got there they tasted like stale Cheetos without the cheese. The salsa tasted like tomato sauce with onions in it. After ordering our food it took about 15 minutes to arrive. Half the food look like it came from Taco Bell, The other half looked like it came from the Kroger next-door. We still drive to Dallas or Douglasville for Mexican to this day, despite living one half mile away. read more

24 hours after, I'm so sick and weak, I don't even have the strength to keep typing. Folks....check the Environmental Health Dept. website before you eat anywhere. Fiesta had some major infractions, a "B" health score and the score card was partially covered from View. Maybe it was just a single employee last night, or staff and MGMT that were not following protocol. It is tough to tell since most food poisoning cases go unreported and unverified. I have some left overs that I hope DEH comes and gets and sends for cultures. I haven't gotten food poisoning like this in 20 years. The experience was nice though. Staff was friendly and fast, decent size portions, but to get this sick (4 out of 5 members of my family within 12-24 hours of eating here) with the exact same symptoms is a red flag. read more

It's my birthday and we came to eat dinner here. What a mistake. We used to eat here all the time and it was great. I ordered a taco salad and by the time I took a couple of bites, it was so soggy and greasy, I don't think even a pig would have ate it. We ask for the manager and then had to ask again before she came out. She wanted to know if we wanted a box to take it home. Really, would she eat that. I finally got two chicken tacos and after all that. They put the salad on the ticket and then took it off. Oh and they didn't forget to charge us for the tacos. We will NEVER go back there. My husband and I really enjoy this place. The staff is friendly, service is great, and the food is awesome. Never had a dish that I didn't thoroughly enjoy. The drinks are on point, beer is cold and the margaritas are swinging. They'll put hair on your chest. There are a lot of locals that visit here and whether your a local or out of towner, you'll feel right at home. The environment is welcoming and the bar is one of our favorite hangouts. The manager is hilarious and makes you feel like you've been best friends since high school. Definitely one of our favorite places for lunch, dinner, or just drinks. You should ignore all the silly reviews of the picky and high maintenance people and listen to mine. Check it out. You won't be disappointed. read more

We took a chance Prices were reasonable, service was friendly fast and they refilled chips twice. Margaritas were good and food was freshly prepared. We will be back. First visit was on 4/19/10. They served chips and salsa immediately. The chips were quite good. The salsa, while not chunky tasted good. We ordered an appetizer of Chorizo con Queso. It was served with warm tortillas and was enjoyable. For an entree I ordered one of their combinations which included a burrito, an enchilada and a tamale. This was terrible. I couldn't visually see any difference between the burrito and the enchilada and I couldn't taste any difference among any of them except for the corn dough used on the tamale. All three were terribly bland like eating unseasoned ground beef wrapped in a tortilla. Even the sauce and cheese drizzled on top did little to add to the flavor. All three were soggy and mushy and I imagine they were just microwaved. On a slightly positive note, the service was good and the beer was cold. read more

This is one of my favorite spots. Me and my buddies come here about once a week and have a drink and always get tacos or nachos. Dom the bartender is cool to talk to and he's always making up some crazy drink. This is a definite local hangout spot where you can run and meet lots of the regular customers. I've given this place many attempts during my 4 years living right around the corner from this place. The people are nice, but the food absolutely sucks. I legit got enchiladas served with ketchup as ranchero sauce. Have been here at least 6 or more times, and everytime the food has been bad. The ground beef meat had a moist cat food like consistency amd tasted like not one bit of seasoning was used. If you're clueless about authentic food then this is your spot. This was always the best Mexican restaurant around but...I don't know what happened. You try to call in a order and the phone is either ringing off the hook or it says user busy. You go to pick up your order and you stand at the register waiting on someone to notice you are there even when the door chimes when you walk in. The food used to be outstanding but not anymore. The rice is all stuck together looks like small golf balls the shredded chicken looks like it's boiled with no seasoning at ALL!!! We used to go in at least twice a week then quit going at all. We started going again and I thought it was going to be good but...it didn't take long to go down hill. They have a young assistant manger and they want to stand around and chat instead of making sure that all the customers are good. They need to start managing instead of being a friend. read more

First time trying this restaurant in our new neighborhood. Meh is an understatement. We ordered the Carlos burrito with steak - soggy, flavorless mess!!! We also ordered the carnitas - same tasteless slop! The only good thing was the chips - they were freshly made and super crispy. We are gonna pass on a repeat visit.
