Amazing!!! Staff greeted me the second I walked in and helped me go over the options they had on the menu with a smile. I ordered the taco special with rice and beans and let me tell you, coming from a latino household everything was delicious!!! Rice was fluffy and tasted freshly made, the carne asada was perfectly seasoned, the tortillas are homemade too which is rare to find. The inside was clean & had a beautiful hispanic vibe. ots unfortunate that the building allows the smell of the food to be taken over by the nails being done next door. MANY times I've had to wait in my car for the food because the smell of the nail products being used next door is so profuse that it fills the entire restaurant with nail product. whatever it is I don't want it on my nails and I'd expect to smell food. Omg!!! I love the gorditas, the enchiladas, the taquitos, and the steak French fries. I've had the tacos but they weren't necessarily my favorite. The horchata drink is a hit or miss so I always ask to try it first. I love the green avocado looking salsa and the green salsa. There's plenty more I haven't tried. And they usually have a special listed on the board that's always changing. read more

We've been going here since WAAAY back in the day when it was Junior's Cheeseburgers. I've only stopped in for take-away a few times in recent years, but J stops by here 1 - 4 times a month. The food is pretty good. And they have those crinkle cut french fries that I love (lol)! Hence my previous review. But the young cashier I spoke with today actually snapped at me & told me to that she didn't care about my opinion & I should just "keep my opinion to myself" - all because after she put cheese on my 'hamburger - no cheese,' I made the mistake of TRYING to explain to her that I don't eat American cheese & I mistakenly said I don't "like" American cheese. I was very taken aback by her response. She behaved as though she personally made the cheese. Believe me - if I could have, I would have scraped the cheese off. I did ask to speak to the owner and the cashier said, "Ok. It's my MOM." As if to say, you can say whatever you like but what's my Mom going to do? When I spoke to the owner / her Mother ... to the cashier's credit - she did not deny what she'd said. The owner apologized & seemed sincere. Her daughter, however, stood there the entire time with a glib expression & did not seem to think she'd done anything wrong. I called in an order for a hamburger. And once I arrived I added an order of nachos with chicken. I confirmed everything they use (everybody seems to make them differently) and after she listed the ingredients, I asked for them to omit the queso and cilantro. But I stressed that even though I didn't want the queso, I wanted the topped with the shredded cheese. About the burger - I made a point of saying I wanted 'a hamburger, no cheese.' I've had the burgers here several times and I either get the shredded cheese or have them omit the cheese entirely and just add a slice of cheddar when I get home. I paid - added a tip and sat down to wait on my food. When I got my order, my nachos were missing the shredded cheese. Then when I gave the nachos back to her for the cheese, she put powdered cheese on the instead of the shredded cheese. She said the 'shredded cheese' is not called 'shredded' - that it's just called 'mozzarella cheese.' Um . . . Ok. Then, when I checked my HAMburger - it had a big yellow slice of American cheese. The cashier appears to be a very young girl. I'm over 40 years old. When I tell you - I have NEVER had a child speak to me the way this child did - I am NOT exaggerating. I know the pandemic has made people behave oddly - but I'm an introvert and my routine hasn't changed much. The last few weeks I've had to work on Mother's Day promotions and looking at all these Mother / child images and reading all these poignant things about Mothers - has made me weepy as heck. So while I did get 'emotional' - I never raised my voice at this young lady - and I even went so far as to apologize TO her for inconveniencing her when she was correcting my nachos. Even though she's the one who messed up my order. I wish them the best - but the cashier doesn't seem to understand that customers are the ones who keep your doors open. I asked to have a "to-go" salsa instead of getting salsa from the bar (because the bar was disgusting and I didn't trust it) and was told it would be extra. Conclusion: Maybe I would have enjoyed something else from the menu. I was trying to test the waters with just a taco and chips. It looked sketch to me and I should have kept it moving like I started to. Sometimes sketch places turn out to have some of the best food. Not this time. Smh. Not this time. The second you walk in you forget where you are, they did a great job decorating the location. They have a nice outside theme inside. The yellow really pops. plus the staff is very nice, made me feel like family. I truly enjoyed Los Sopes, and their salsa bar had a verity of choices. I definitely recommend this. read more

This spot is decent on the inside. Maybe about 10 tables to dine at. My order consisted of 2 sides of rice and 8 tacos to feed three people. The rice was okay but the chicken tacos (American style) had absolutely no flavor. My boyfriend thought they were terrible to say the least. The chicken wasn't seasoned at all. The whole taco was just bland. I got an order to go for Cinco De Mayo and waited about an hour. I placed the order around 7:40 PM in person, went to my house that's 14 minutes away to let my dog out, drove back, went inside to grab it and still waited for quite sometime. I didn't get my food until almost 8:45 PM. Also, they charge you for using a card instead of cash. About $1.20. There Apple Pay machine also wasn't working. I won't be back. So disappointed with my experience here. We arrived at 11am (when the sign on the door says they open) and when we got inside the employees told us that they had just arrived, still needed to get set up and that they had "a lot of catering orders to get to". They said they needed 5 minutes and then they would be ready to take our order...they didn't take our order until 20 minutes later. When our food came out, our order was incomplete, we had to ask the waitress several times for things that we had ordered. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is because the food wasn't too bad once we got it all. However, all the salsa and dips offered were very very spicy. NO ALCOHOL SOLD HERE! Two people in our group ordered the sangria after being told it was the only alcoholic beverage available. It was actually a non-alcoholic sangria flavored drink. read more

Gorditas are 5 stars. Tacos... I truly hate to say it but they are super dry, even tacos al pastor (which should be full of flavor but are not.) I feel like I ate a bowling ball. Sopes are tiny, which is fine, that's how they are where I'm from in Mexico, but same issue... dry meat. I so want to love this place. The gorditas are a no brainer, delicious. I unfortunately can't recommend anything else I've tried which is disappointing. The service is great, salsa verde is great, if they fixed the dry meat issue it would be off the chain. Absolutely delicious !!! This was my first time but definitely won't be my last. I had a chicken taco, 2 Gorditas , and costillas in salsa verde. It did take longer then expected but they were busy so I understand. Everything was home made. The gorditas were different from what I'm use too. They just have beans meat and melted cheese. The food is tasty. They indicate that they aren't "fast food", so I typically call in my order in advance. I usually get the tortas, gorditas (chicharrón), and the sopes. The most authentic Mexican food in the area, and the employees are always super nice. read more

I absolutely love this place. This place is amazing in its versatility. Here you can choose your meat and whether you want it repaired in a stew or regular and then you can tell them how you want to serve if you want it as a taco, burrito, torta or sandwich. And many other selections as well. I had the nachos covered covered with beef and potato stew which was delicious. They also have a salsa bar here where you can combine different sauces to make your own special blend. I will be coming back often read more
