The chips were good, but could've been warmer with more salt and salsa. I have to say that the food at this restaurant, while 'stylized' as Mexican, isn't really what you'd expect as Mexican (only marginally adjacent, I'm afraid). I truly didn't expect it to be authentic this far away from Mexico, but it really missed the mark. I saw tortillas, I saw stylized proteins and even salsa. I just didn't FEEEELLLL Mexico when I ate the food. The carnitas tasted like boiled shredded pork, I'm sorry to say. No spice, no heart, nothing Mexico about it.

Didn't finish my platter but everything I had was very good. I was surprised by how good the corn pudding was, almost like a creamy corn bread. Hannah was our very pleasant server. When our bill came it was a nice surprise to see we got Happy Hour prices on the margaritas.... $3 off and since it was taco Tuesday it was another $3 off the tacos.
