Mary and I stopped in for lunch today, our first visit. We were greeted by friendly staff and seated. Chips and tasty salsa came right out. They had a salsa bar where freshly made corn tortillas were on the grill, there were salsas of different kinds, guacamole, honey and butter to choose from; delicious! Mary had a chicken chimichanga, delicious. I had a steak fajitas burrito; delicious. The included rice and beans were delicious. You should get in here and give them a try!

Great Mexican food in the Tri Cities! We were warmly greeted and had chips and salsa on the table in seconds. Our drinks came quickly thereafter, Very friendly service and furthermore, really good food. I got the Arroz Con Pollo and it was tasty, and gigantic. And don't forget the salsa bar. It's a big deal.

We came to the area for a band competition and our friend recommended this place as a great Mexican option. Man, were they spot on. They have a salsa bar where you can serve yourself, and the menu is authentic. We were greeted and served promptly, which is nice these days! Highly recommend

Clean & organized. Booths & tables available. Friendly welcoming service. Services was speedy. Son said food is "amazing" Daughter said food was "top tier" Only criticism is pricing, a little high for the amount of food. Torta lacked meat, drinks were strong.

The squash with it is fresh! I loved the creamy texture of the risotto. I haven't had halibut in many years! I loved the 3 dips with the house-made potato crisps. My favorite dip was the smoked steelhead. The crisps are very crunchy! Baked Feta Cheese w/ Honey Drizzle: The scone like pastries are really good! Super fluffy texture. Add the feta on top then an olive on the cheese, and take a bite! The warm pastry with the creamy sweet honey feta cheese and savory olive blends so well together. It's an amazing sharable appetizer and I highly recommend it. Apple Pie with Vanilla Ice Cream: The rich flavors of the pie are delicious! The apples are cooked perfectly and not too crunchy or mushy. The cinnamon isn't over powering the whole pie, but enough to know that it's there. My friend loves apple pie and rated it a 10 out of 10! The vanilla ice cream tasted good, but if you have ice cream outside on the patio be sure to eat it before it melts. It was 98 degrees. It feels like there's something for everyone, and I liked that most entrées let you customize your sides. Tons of choices, from various potato preparations to different pastas. I ordered the smaller portion of the salmon (seasoned and cooked to perfection) with pasta and a cup of tomato soup. The pasta tasted like it had a heavy dose of "jarlic" & overall was a bit too salty for my taste. My husband had the hibachi chicken entrée with fries and clam chowder. He thought the chicken was a little dry, but otherwise okay. We came on a Monday, so we took advantage of the half-off appetizers and shared the nachos which is definitely a nice bonus. I'd give this place a 3.5. The food wasn't quite a hit for us this time, but the restaurant is clean, has a great atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We also loved the view from the back patio. We're planning to come back and try some different items, there's a lot left on the menu to explore.

Out of towner here.‍ We came to the tri-cities for our…read morewedding anniversary weekend. We wanted an upscale, nice restaurant to celebrate our anniversary and landed on this Italian restaurant from a local friend's recommendation. I called ahead and made reservations. If you do this, beware it's AI taking down your request. So, I called the phone # listed online. It took me to the Lodge (hotel) where this restaurant is located and I was then transferred to the restaurant. I let the worker know it's my anniversary we are celebrating so I wanted it to be extra special and if I could have the best window seat for our dinner. She said she made note of it. Perfect! (So I thought). We arrived a few minutes early on a glorious beautiful day. As we checked in, the manager (I assume) was helping the nightly music act with her equipment, so she was preoccupied. (Nothing wrong with that!). The concierge was going to put us in a booth. I piped up and told her about my reservation. She then took us to the window "area" mind you, there was a window seat open, but she sat the menus at the table with our backs to the river view. ‍ The manager overheard me grumbling to my husband, offered us the window seat, but at that point I was already seated and reading the menu. We stayed where we were originally seated. The music was just outside the door, kind of loud to have an intimate conversation, but that was ok b/c the musician was good. Our server, Lacey was really nice, attentive & informative. The food was delicious! Look at my pictures, they do reek of deliciousness. Because it was our anniversary we splurged and had an appetizer and dessert. Appetizer: Frito Misto, basically like tempura. Fried calamari, zucchini, red peppers, onions with a delicious dipping sauce. Was not disappointed. Dinner: I had the spaghetti carbonara, which I've never had, the egg yolk was fun to mix into the dish and create this rich, delicious flavor with the bacon. Just spectacular. Hubs had the Ricotta gnocchi and loved it. He said it would have been even better if they had a little bit more sauce from what seemed to be braised pork. He dipped some of his gnocchi in my carbonara sauce and that seemed to satisfy him even more. Dessert: the manager offered us some bubbly at the start of our dinner, but Hubs had already ordered an Old Fashion, which also did not disappoint. I opted for no booze and she offered dessert instead, which we took her up on. We shared the cannoli. I love chocolate, hubs loves fruit, so it was a match made in heaven-- just like us. It was the perfect ending to the evening. I would typical dock a star for the mishap at the beginning of our meal, but the girl was "new" and I'm sure her manager had a teaching moment with her. The service and food all but made up for the mishap.

Then food was ordered. The server went around the table, but again had to be reminded that she did not take orders from everyone. About 30 minutes after the order was placed some salads came out, but not all of them. Then entrées started to arrive again for some people, but not all. The last three individuals to get their food were served around an hour and 15 minutes after the order was placed. I ordered the chop salad and the bruschetta appetizer. The chop salad had very little salami or cheese as described on the menu. The bruschetta was actually bread slices, not toasted, with a soft cheese spread and raw mushrooms. It was not very appetizing. My husband ordered the pasta carbonara and both of us, after one bite, described it as incredibly salty. We are huge carbonara fans and have ordered it at restaurants and made it at home many times. He picked out the guanciale and left about a third of the pasta because the salt level was off the chart! If we had not waited so long for our food already and been just the two of us, we would definitely have sent the pasta back. Much better restaurants in the area. Hopefully they get their act together because the location is awesome.

I was in Walla Walla for business yesterday…read more I sell water stuff. There was already water in Walla Walla when I got there but thats not really how the business works. Had a very big day. Met with several people. Shook a lot of hands. Looked at some things. One guy had a map. By about 6pm I had done basically everything a businessman can legally do in one day so I decided to get dinner. Went to TMACS. Sat at the bar because I was by myself and sitting at a table by yourself makes it look like someone is coming. Nobody was coming. The lady gave me the menu. I told her I wasnt very hungry. She recommended the octopus. I said lets do it. I have always respected the octopus because it has 8 arms and still doesnt have a job. Octopus came out. Very good. Charred on the outside. Tender inside. Had some sauce and other things around it. I ate all of those too. At this point I was no longer hungry which had been the original goal. Then she asked what I wanted for dinner. This caught me off guard because I thought the octopus had counted. She recommended the bolognese. I said lets do that too. This is one thing I like about restaurants. You can just keep ordering. Bolognese came out and immediately became a serious situation. Big wide pasta. Rich meat sauce. Parmesan. Everything stuck to everything correctly. I dont know who invented bolognese but they understood that sometimes spaghetti needs more stuff on it. Very good. Halfway through dinner a glass broke. Everybody heard it. For about 2 seconds the entire restaurant became about the glass. Then it wasnt anymore. Incredible recovery. I talked to the staff quite a bit because I was at the bar and thats where they keep the staff. Very friendly people. One of the waitresses told me she had never been outside Walla Walla. I had just driven there from Bend Oregon. Between the two of us we had been to at least 2 places. I told her Bend is nice. She said Walla Walla is nice. We made a lot of progress. Then they started talking about the goat milk cheesecake. I reminded them I wasnt hungry. This information had not helped me earlier and did not help me now. Ordered the goat milk cheesecake. Very good cheesecake. I dont normally know what animal the milk came from when I eat cheesecake so it was nice having that information upfront. Goat did a great job. At this point I had eaten octopus, cow and goat in about 90 minutes. Basically toured the farm. Then I learned the restaurant was originally T. Maccarone's because the founder's actual last name is Maccarone. This guy was born with the last name Maccarone and opened a restaurant with pasta. Sometimes life tells you what to do. If his last name had been Hamburger this could have been a completely different place. Eventually they changed the name to TMACS which is much faster to say. Smart. I paid the bill. Everyone said goodbye. I walked back to my hotel extremely full even though I had entered the restaurant not hungry. That is a 100% increase in hunger elimination. I dont give investment advice but these are strong numbers. Excellent octopus. Excellent bolognese. Excellent goat cheesecake. Excellent staff. Glass situation resolved. Would recommend TMACS to anyone who is in Walla Walla and needs food. If you are not in Walla Walla you will need to get here first. 5 stars.
