The service was friendly. It was a little slow at times, but reasonable considering I was there at the peak of a lunch rush. The food was good, but a little bland for my taste. It was a solid "1 pepper" on the spiciness scale when I would have preferred "3-4 peppers". The menu has all the Mexican dishes you'd expect to see, including a full dinner menu even at lunchtime. chimichanga was not cooked. raw tortilla with very little stuffing. tamale was rae cornbread and hardly any stuffing. rice and beans were cold. way too expensive for what you don't get. service was inattentive. i was sick as could be the next morning. worst mexican experience in my 50 years of dining out. Place is very colorful. Food is acceptable. I usually just get a shredded beef taco salad. But be aware the bottom gets VERY soggy. They should either let the meat drain more or put a barrier of beans or something down. Service isn't great. Mostly because if you aren't Mexican they don't treat you well it seems. This was recommend by our hotel across the street. The food was AMAZING! Easy access off main hwy. Restaurant is a little outdated, but the food makes up for all that. It's always hard to find good, authentic tasting Mexican food. Everyone ordered something different, and it all was delicious. The wait staff was kind, and he continued to check in on us with a full house of customers. If in the area and love great tasting Mexican food, stop on in! Meh. It's by the airport and we were starving after a long day of flying so we stopped off here. The food was alright, nothing spectacular. Margaritas were a bit too sweet, like too much sugary mix. The server seemed preoccupied and/or uninterested in checking on tables. mexican after a week of yellowstone offerings was a welcome surprise. adorable decor inside. service was fair. happy to get complimentary chips and salsa shrimp fajitas - good beans, came with decent size lettuce/tomato salad and guacamole. rice was a bit dry. shrimp were good, plate was pretty greasy but decently tasty. taco salad with chicken- wish they specified this was with shredded tinga style chicken. the "salad" was virtually all meat, hardly any lettuce. and since it the meat was wet and shredded the lettuce that was there got pretty soggy. meanwhile the chicken was somehow kind of dry? and pretty clumped together despite my critiques I still think it's worth a stop read more

Food was average . Queso was very good . They were out of limes so couldn't do any fresh margaritas. Definitely not cool. Especially since there are 3 grocery stores , one a Mexican specialty store within less than a mile from the restaurant. Not sure why a manager wouldn't go grab some for the night !!! Fiesta Mexicana was a surprising find in Montana. I did not expect a decent Mexican restaurant to be around here but Fiesta was definitely it! The chips and salsa left a lot to be desired. The chimichanga I ordered for lunch was excellent though. I got the shredded beef and the beef was seasoned nicely. The ice was pretty weak and was a bit like cardboard. If you want Mexican food in the Bozeman area I would recommend Fiesta. The service was pretty mediocre but we got everything we needed. read more

After spending five days camping in the mountains of Montana we headed to this little place. The waitress we had was great, a little blonde with tattoos on her arms, I forgot to ask her name. I had the Nopalitos Con Huevos, a mix of eggs, cactus leaf, tomatoes and onions. Wow! The mix of those ingredients were outstanding! I had never had cactus leaf before, it has kind of a earthy, mushroomy flavor. I had a beef tamale on the side. The meat was tender and the masa was perfect. I really love the food at Fiesta Mexicana!! The food here is as good or better than any of the many Mexican restaurants that I've been to, in many states. It's authentic, fresh and full of flavor. The only thing that they can improve on (in my opinion), is their guacamole. The sauces are amazingly tasty! My favorite is Cheese enchiladas and Chili Rellenos. Another thing that I love is that the food comes to the table piping hot and stays hot throughout the meal. The cheese is wonderfully melted and oh, so good! There's a lot more delicious food to choose from, and it's a difficult choice to make. To top things off, I would recommend a blended Margarita! So refreshing! The atmosphere is okay and I like the booth decor. But...the staff lacks any hosting/ courtesy skills and the food is like taco bell you get A LOT of lettuce and no "meat". "Authentic" Mexican foods? My ass. Crispy tacos tasted like Taco Bell's tacos; you will save your money by going to Taco Bell or buying taco shells/beef from a food store to make it for yourself instead, but again, nothing beats California's Mexican foods. read more

I don't understand how the parking lot is constantly full. This place is awful! Their chips and salsa are good, thin tasty chips, good salsa. The good stopped there. My soda tasted moldy, I would guess the fountain nozzles aren't ever cleaned. The chicken chimi was ok, but the chili relleno was a crime against food. It was like an omelet with a piece of pepper inside and cheese melted on the top. Then it was covered in something I can only describe as thickened greasy water. I thought it was just liquid that had collected on the plate until I touched it and it was thick. Beans were meh, and the rice was gross. My husband's enchiladas were just cold corn tortillas with meat inside covered with the same greasy water mixture. Maybe there are good at something, but we won't be back to find out. Well here goes. Our waitress was very good the staff in front was awesome. My food however left much to be desired. I splurged and went from my normal dish that I get to get the combination fajitas, which has shrimp, steak, and chicken. When it arrived at the table it looked very good but my shrimp had gone bad. The waitress apologized and went to the kitchen she said she would take 25% off because the kitchen told her too. Turns out I paid for 75% of something I couldn't eat at all unless I wanted to end up in the hospital. The kitchen asked if I wanted to take the rest of the plate home with me which had been cooked together with the tainted shrimp, I declined. We have been going to this restaurant for the last few years and have spent plenty of money here to be treated like this. My family will never be going here again. read more

It looked like there was only one guy working, and he was nice enough, definitely didn't seem happy to be there though.
