I just can't give a good review. Service was fine and the atmosphere is okay too, but the food and drinks...just not fine. Drinks were incredibly inconsistent - one margarita had so much tequila, but then a mixed drink tasted like there was nothing at all in it. I ordered a chimichanga and It was a soggy mess. The "veggies" inside were clearly a bag of green giant broccoli, carrots and cauliflower. In a tortilla? Did they run out of peppers and onions? I've never had that stuff show up in a burrito or anything before. Besides the main dish, the refried beans were cold and the rice was bland. Even the guac wasn't good and that was freshly made! Stopped in at the advice from a friend and boy am I glad I did! First off the atmosphere was outstanding including lovely decor and mood lighting. The service was fast and friendly even though they were completely mobbed! I had their shrimp Fajitas which were served on a sizzling skillet and was cooked to perfection. We have eaten and had take-out from this restaurant several times but it has started to go down hill. This time we ordered take-out and it will be the last time we will ever give our money to this establishment. The person that answered the phone took down the order and made some errors. When I arrived my food was ready and I was assured that the order was correct. I asked to look at it to verify and it was wrong. I had to wait an extra 30 minutes for tacos which should never take that long. When we arrived home we also found that the guacamole was totally brown and no jalepenos had been put in. Even though I have been here several times, I still can't give it more than 3 stars. My boyfriend and I usually end up coming here just when we want to go out and are craving chips and salsa. We lived in Southern Cali for a while so I will admit we have high standards for Mexican food, and this is probably one of the better places in the area. However the food is nothing I ever find myself craving. Weekend nights they do have a mariachi band that does make dinner more enjoyable! Food is good, service is lacking especially when Luis is not there. Yelp advertises that they close at 10:30, we drove all the way there to find out they closed the kitchen at 9. They regularly do this proving they are unreliable and not worth the risk of driving all the way there. They have slowly destroyed the midweek late evening dinner crowd, they close early due to being slow but they're slow because they are inconsistent with hours and people stop coming. We went to Kelly's after finding Fiesta closed at 9:15. There were 15 filled tables at Kelly's across the street. Kelly's kitchen never closes early, they are dependable and consistent with their advertised hours. The guacamole is good and so are the margaritas. They used to have a packed evening crowd, now they turn off the lights while you are still there eating (before their advertised closing hours), basically kicking you out. I've been to Fiesta Mexicana a few times but mostly just the bar and Ive had great mojitos and margaritas and the food was pretty good as well. Not sure what's going on now but our service was terrible and our waiter (Ramon) was probably the worst I've ever had. It's sad because the other staff seemed very attentive to their tables and we sat in envy of their service. We didn't get to put in our appetizers for like 30+ mins after being seated. Then another 20 mins for the guy to come take our entree order which is crazy because there were like 3 tables in the whole place. I will never return. Stick to Las Mananitas I think it's owned by the same people but better service and better atmosphere right up the road. Btw the host and bussers and even the bartender were professional it was just this one waiter that couldn't be bothered with us even though we spent like 80 bucks on lunch we weren't worth his attention. Easily one of my favorite restaurants in Brewster. The food is exquisite, fresh, and always cooked to perfection. Not only is the staff attentive but they treat you like family. I rushed in with my family last night and they happened to be very busy. We were in a rush on our way over to the movies but wanted some dinner before hand. We only had 40 minutes to eat so we sat down and ordered immediately. The waiter, picking up on our subtle rush asked if we had any plans and we told him we only had 40 minutes to eat because we were trying to catch a movie. He ran into the kitchen with our order and our food was served to us within minutes even on this extremely busy night. I was beyond impressed and very pleased. 10/10 recommend! read more
