Good food. Had a long wait but that's because of how popular the place is. Once we got seated figured out why. Wonderful food.

We came here for lunch and overall really enjoyed it. Margaritas were HUGE and delicious but they were not very strong. I had the tacos de carne asada which were AMAZING. Only reason this is not 5 stars is because the waiter forgot about the cheese dip we ordered at the beginning. We were so full afterwards though that we didn't feel we needed it. read more

Good food for decent prices. They have specials for football games. Nice service. Food came out in less than 5 minutes. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they have specials on game nights and I ordered one of them which is 3 regular tacos for $5. When leaving I saw they had $1 regular tacos for the Clemson game that was on. Would of thought that the server would of made the tacos $3 instead of $5 but that was not the case. Kind of shady as when I am at work I always try to do what is in the customers best interest. I'm not worried about the measly $2 but it's just the point. Probably would come back but will just have to look at the check better before paying. read more

Came here with 2 other couples on a Friday night during a weekend in Myrtle and were super impressed! We were seated outside where there was a live band performing and entertaining all the diners. The food and drinks were all delicious and the nice breezy weather made it a great evening. We will be back next time we come to Myrtle! read more

Here on vacation, drove by & looked like a good place to have our first meal. We sat down outside, weather was beautiful. The staff was super friendly, and the food was amazing. Husband got the ACP & it was gone in a blink of an eye. I got a chicken & cheese quesadilla, ask if I could add mushrooms, it was no problem. They gave me a good pile of them. Good Mexican food. I had the chilis poblanos with rice and beans. These were real poblanos peppers stuffed with cheese. I'd rank these as some of the best East of Texas. The rice and beans were very good. The salsa was spicy with fresh cilantro. Service was fast and friendly. The wife and I stopped in after partying in downtown Myrtle looking for an open kitchen at 11:20 pm. We found this gem still serving hot, fresh food. We ordered the nachos which were fantastic and just what we were looking for. The waiter did not at all seem put out that only wanted to share a plate of nachos. These nachos were Mexican and not the typical messy American style with bright neon orange cheese and Old El Paso seasoned beef. No. These were a bed of white corn tortilla chips covered with chicken, ground beef, that crumbly white cheese (don't know the name), and vegetables and jalapeños. Served with a homemade salsa, this late night munch was the perfect balance of crispy, savory, spicy, and creamy. I want to go back for a proper dinner. read more

Great place to go at night and have some drinks and karaoke with friend and family, it's friendly and clean also very colorful.

Party of six had a good Mexican meal. I ordered fresh jalapeños with my chimichangas and didn't get them. The only reason I requested was because they showed them in their add. Otherwise, it was good service but nothing exceptional just average at a moderately higher price. The only other issue was the chimichangas were like appetizers size. Not a good choice for the price. We also tried the table side guacamole prep and everyone did like this but I felt this was more novelty and didn't really improve the food experience. I do have to add they were the most friendly servers and operators that we have experienced in Myrtle Beach. read more

Went to eat here for the first time and was very impressed. The server was a Russian woman who was very friendly and a great server. They have staff come around offering at table service such as taking pictures and fresh guacamole. I had shredded chicken and beefed soft tacos and my family had the mixed fajitas. All food was hot and good. Chips and salsa was good and I even asked for the hot(caliente) salsa and it was also good and spicy. I I've just 3 minutes away from this Gem and can tell you it's the best Mexican food in Myrtle Beach. I may go back again tomorrow! Ron read more

Holy Yelp madness - this joint was a mind blowing experience......My family and I have never had a bad Mexican meal to date, in fact even Taco Bell cannot screw up Mexican. Until tonight. This was beyond bad, bordering contempt. I find two things amazing --- 1. This place had decent reviews and 2. The parking lot was filled with cars, the joint was busy. I can see one plate being bad, but all five of our meals were terrible. 1. Chicken Chimichanga - No lettuce, no tomato, no cheese, no guacamole. The two that were on the plate were 3 inch by 3 inch squares covered in refried beans. They were not fried and the chicken was over cooked and dry. 2. Chicken Tenders (kids meal) - really dinosaur chicken tenders? frozen peaces of cardboard. The french fries were soggy and cold. What the hell, my kid asked for ranch dressing and was brought some nasty running white stuff that might have been ranch a month ago.... 3. Ordered a cheese quesadilla. They brought it a la carte, we asked for beans and rice, which as we found out were charged as sides. Let me understand this, put a slice of american cheese in between tortillas. What happened to the dinner that we thought we ordered? Language barrier I suppose? Try this amigo - sabor a mierda! 4. Enchilada dinner combo - nasty and no taste. Reminded me of one of those frozen dinners in a box, just microwave and presto, instant food, yum yum! 5. Chicken burrito, just plain bad. In fact, I could not tell the difference between the Chimichanga and the burrito. To add insult to injury, the chips were stale. On all plates, the beans were runny and tasteless, like out of a can. The bathrooms were nasty and when presented with the yelp check in offer of 10%, the manager had no clue that it was offered. Each dish had ZERO flavor. Hot sauce was non existent. We checked into our hotel and the kids are starving ready to die if they don't eat soon kinda hungry. So as we adevnture out, 2 blocks away and right there a gem of a place, and all the kids crave mexican, want to know why we don't eat mexican everyday? Fun place, clean, awesme food. As the meal started rhe regular chips and salse, we ordered hot salsa, kinda roasted red pepperish, mixed it with the mild about 70/30, very good, but we asked for a cheese dip and and it came out too witht the salsa. Well worth the 3.75. Mix it with the salsa, too. One kid finished it off so the kids in Africia couldn't get sick from sending cheese dip all that way. Obviously we say thet thing about starving kids in Africia. One gets fajitas, 2 get chicken Chimichangas, one a monster nachos, and I the adventurous one ordered the Pina Rellena Arina. Wasa. Little scared to spend the 17.00, but man 'o man was it worth every cent. I thought it was a choice of chicken, strak or shrimp, well nope, it wasa ll of it. Presented on an openfaced grilled pinapple, with a small fiesta salad and beans and rice. Super awesome. Atmosphere was good, had a few tv's playing soccer, we really enjoyed, even thought we are vacationing, they presented us with a value card and 5 meal punches free one at 7. I'm not normally from SC but I was here on vacation. I have tried a lot of Mexican food so I've had the good and the bad. I would definitely put the food in the great category! I had the vegetarian combo with the cheese and mushroom quesadillas( I also asked to add tomatoes and onions) with a side of beans and rice. It was amazing tasted great not greasy or anything like that. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because of the service. The service wasn't bad just the server we had didn't seem like she wanted to be there too much. If I ever comeback to SC I will definitely try it again. Terrific! Great Margaritas, the menu was fantastic and the decor was on point. A nice little family run place amongst a sea of chains, boil in a bag restaurants and typical American eateries. In a tourist soaked town, this was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommended! The prices were very reasonable compared to the other places on the strip. We were looking for somewhere that did table side gac. We order the Table Side Guacamole and a pitch of margaritas to start with, both were delicious. He ordered the Piña Rellena and I ordered the Apollo Poblano and had zucchini added. Both dishes were out of this world. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We heard that they have happy hour, so we were expecting like most other places to sit at the bar, get to chat with others, and see a happy hour menu food and drinks. They only have a few drinks for happy hour for $6 and no food. The bar is closed. It's smaller inside than I thought that it would be, looking at pictures. A lot of the decorations from the larger room are gone. Food was ok. My drink - bahama mama was just ok, i've had been at el cerro. Love this place!! Finally found a solid Mexican spot. Went with 3 other people, on a recommendation from someone who lives walking distance. Waiter was excellent, he brought out chips and salsa. Someone asked if the salsa was hot, he said no, and asked if we wanted hot. We said yes, and brought out some liquid fire. If you like hot, ask for the hot. The regular salsa is tasty and all, but not hot. I had the shrimp, beef and chicken fajitas and loved them. Only criticism I could give is I wish they had more onions and peppers on it. If I remember next time I go, i'll ask. In all fairness, they had a good amount of meat on the dish, and I left fat, and happy.
