This was the first restaurant we visited during Covid and I have to say I thought they did a great job given all the circumstances. They turned their parking lot into a pretty big outdoor dining space and the tables are all pretty spaced out with giant umbrellas. It's also on the side of the building so you do get some privacy without being right in the front for drivers to stare and pass by. The service is always good all the waitresses have a smile although you can't really see it with their masks on you can tell from their eyes lol. The food is always fresh and hot and they do extensive cleaning after each guest. Whenever we're in the mood for Mexican and margaritas we will definitely be going back! read more

Took a chance last night, December 30, 2016, and gave this New Mexican restaurant a try. First impression: WOW! If this restaurant can keep up their current quality and environment, they are going to do very well! The wait staff was very courteous and accommodating; my wife has a life threatening allergy, and they took the matter with the seriousness that it warrants and made sure that what we ordered was going to be safe for her. The Drinks were very good. We had a couple of "Miami Vice's" which is a combination of a Strawberry Daiquiri and a Pina Colada. The drinks were very good and not too heavy handed, in short a very nice frozen drink that would slowly kick you in the butt! The food was very fresh and served very very fast! We had the lettuce wrap appetizer with the chicken. Fresh Cilantro, pinto beans, tomatillos sauce, and fresh onion make up this dish. Dinner was enchiladas mix, one cheese, one chicken, and one beef enchilada with different sauces on each. Served with rice and refried beans. Both of which were tasty, but on the plain side...which I don't mind as they are just a side. The enchiladas were excellent! My wife had the shredded beef burrito, which was excellent, and was roughly the size of a small house! Kidding, but the to go box felt like it weighed several pounds!! :-) Overall impression: I hope that this place stays in business as they really have some great food and drinks in a very nice, bright atmosphere with friendly staff. We've been here four times, including the grand opening day! While there were small things to fix at first, as is with all new restaurants, the food is fabulous! I'm very impressed with the level of pleasant, sometimes with humor, wait staff service! I love when one waiter asked if we'd like some avocado in our guacamole! He clearly saw that he could joke with us! Yer owner is always appreciative when we've brought new diners in with us. She's friendly and helpful. The chips and spicy salsa arrive immediately! The chips are not fried in a dedicated space, so they're not strictly gluten free. The corn tortillas are easily substituted in meals if necessary and are very good! Have the table side prepared guacamole! You'll be glad you did! Fresh and delicious! The staff is happy to adjust ingredients to your liking- more cilantro or jalapeño for example! And get the black bean soup! It's truly a menu highlight with such flavor! The lettuce wraps are one of my favorite items! A healthy and delicious twist on Mexican food! Quesadillas,burritos, enchiladas and mole have all been so tasty! They have adjusted for my meatless diet very easily and deliciously! I can vouch for the skinny margaritas as well! The interior is so warm and inviting! It had been a vast, bland space, but the owners have created a very authentic space with booths imported from Mexico! My boyfriend and I are always looking for new place to eat and drink! Being that we are both in the industry we go into every new place with an open mind. It was a Friday night and we didn't want to travel far so we decided to try Fiesta Mexicana. It was about 8:30-9 on a Friday and the place was empty. Skeptical being that it is a new place and no one was in there we sat at the bar. We were pleased to see that they run a late night Happy Hour that starts at 9. The cocktails were nothing to write home about. We were hoping to find some delicious margaritas; however after reading the menu they didn't seem like anything special. We were pleased to order draft beer at $3.50 so we each had a Sam Adams Cold Snap! We took advantage of the HH pricing (which was only .50 cheaper then normal price). We decided to start with an appetizer before our meal. We order the Traditional Chicken Quesadilla. It came out Luke warm and the tortillas were soggy. It was loaded with waaaay to much cheese ( and we love cheese). The chicken is clearly processed and possibly from a can. Needless to say I had 2 bites and that was it. We decided not to order dinner! There was no sense of urgency with the service except for when they brought chips and salsa over before we were even sitting down. Bartenders lack personality and were on their phones most of the time. Get Rid of the Mexican; would be a great place for a sports bar! If we go back it will be for the cheap drinks! read more

Pretty good local Mexican place with a generous menu selection. The seafood enchilada is fantastic, as are the veggie fajitas and the queso. Atmosphere is clean and staff is friendly. You guys have to work on your margarita game, however. They are usually kind of weak and a bit watery/bland. Other than that, it's a good little place if you are craving Mexican. A few coworkers decided to head out to lunch on a Wednesday to check out the new Mexican place. The restaurant wasn't too busy for a Wednesday at lunch time so the wait staff was very attentive. I wasn't really blow away by this Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere was like any other tex-mex that is in the area and the chips were OK. I will say their salsa had some good heat. The food was fresh, light, and flavorful, and the mole sauce and salsa verde were especially rich and vibrant. I wasn't going to write a review, because most of the yelps pretty much cover it, but many of the reviews are deceiving in stating this food is authentic Mexican. It is NOT. It is VERY TexMex! If you like TexMex, this is as good as it gets around here, blowing Azteca far out of the water. However, if you are expecting authentic Mexican you will be very disappointed with this bland, TexMex. For authentic Mexican (Oaxacan to be more specific), check out Los Sarapes in Manchester, Monte Alban in Hartford, or Sarapes in Enfield. If TexMex is what you want, then read on... The place is super clean. Service is awesome. The decor is fun and very New Mexico. The menu is large and varied with many options for different diet preferences. The queso is made with American cheese and is super bland despite having jalapenos in it. The veggie chimichanga is also super bland, but it has many large veggies in it and is not just bean and cheese like some places would have. My dining companion was happy with the green enchiladas. The inside of the enchilada was bland, but the green sauce was flavorful and helped make up for that. Their salsa is also quite tasty. We did not do tableside guacamole, but the table next to us did, and the portion was HUGE. It looked pretty great. As a side note, their churros come covered in bottled chocolate and caramel syrups with ice cream covered in red syrup and canned whipped cream. The nice part about the churros is they are served hot and are the perfect size for dessert (not huge like street churros). Ordering them without syrup or fake whipped cream or maraschino cherry would be just the right dessert. (Unless all that fake stuff floats your boat, then order it as it comes. I just thought I'd warn you, because the menu does not tell you how they garnish it, ruining it with fake.) read more

My boyfriend and I tried this restaurant for the first time this week and we were pleasantly surprised to find an awesome Mexican restaurant so close to home. Their meals were very big which is great for the reasonable prices. We both took some of our meals home. Everything was good quality and their drinks were decently heavy handed which made those worth the price too. The servers were very attentive and polite. Our meal came out very quickly as well. Second time we've been here and omg. The table guacamole is the freshest you will ever had. It's made right at the table for you. The margaritas are good the actual food is excellent. The service is top I've been on a quiet night and a busy night and the waiters/waitresses were very attentive and the food came out so quickly that I actually asked how many cooks were in the kitchen because I couldn't imagine that it was any less then 10(spoiler alert: there's 4) We will be back many a time. read more

Been meaning to check this place out for a while. Especially after all the rave reviews it had been receiving. My only thought walking in here was, will it live up to hype! Thursday night dinner, seated promptly. The service as attentive and helpful. The waiter was great with this suggestions. The meal started with the normal chips and salsa. Ended up getting 2 entrees. The Tacos de Carnitas and the Chipotle Burrito, both recommendations by the waiter. And dang were they good! The meat in the taco was moist and there was plenty of it for the 3 tacos to fill you up. The burrito, a monster, covered in cheese and sauce. The best part was all the ingredients on the inside were warm, the chorizo still tender and not over cooked. Fiesta Mexicana is Vernon's newest mexican restaurant. I went there for lunch with my brother and my dad 2 months ago. I have Burrito Vegetantino with an side of chips with salsa, Jacob have Clasino Burrito with an side of Chips with salsa and my dad have Mexican Tortilla Soup with an side of chips with salsa. Unlimited Chips with Salsa is an Perfect Deal for Everybody. Prices was really good, Menu was very good, Mexican Food was Excellent, Atmosphere was Cool, and the server was very nice. Also, the staff was very nice and very polite for the new mexican restaurant. That's why, Vernon needs an new mexican restaurant right here because i am very happy of this place. I have been here twice now with my friends, the first time we went pretty later in the night so I wasn't expecting the best food or service but we took the chance. I was pleasantly surprised our server was amazingly attentive, our food and drinks came out fast and were amazingly delicious. Our server also gave my extra tortilla to take with my leftovers. What I thought was queso turn out to be meat with pepper and melted cheese on top that you wrap in tortillas but only gave us 4 tortillas and when we asked if we could get more since there was more of us they said they would have to charge us for a side of them. We then ordered our burritos and we asked if we could substitute steak in for one of ours she said no and that instead she would put in this other burrito for you, when I asked to add peppers into mine she said no I can't do that I'll just also give you this burrito(which was the same burrito she is now ordering my friend) yet when our food came out we got very different items, however both tasted great i just can't tell you what it was. Really good food over all. I wouldn't say authentic though. I got veggie burrito with chipotle sauce. Honestly little to salty for my taste and I asked for refried beans and got black beans. But I still enjoyed my food. I always say if salsa is good then the food will be too. The salsa was a 6/10. I asked if they had a spicy salsa and she brought one out which consisted of finely chopped onions peppers mushrooms and tomatoes and it def hit the spot! But she also charged me for it without letting me know before hand. I also think they should offer both on the table most places offer a mild and spicy salsa.
