I moved into town last week for work and decided to try this place for lunch after my neighbor recommended it to me. I'm really happy I went! The inside was really nicely decorated and had a lot of wide open space. As soon as I sat down, someone came right over with water along with bread and this yellow sauce I'd heard so much about (I think they said it was called ahi?). I wasn't really sure what to get, and ended up going the waitress' recommendation of the ceviche. I've never seen so much seafood come on a plate for one serving at such a great price! When I went with my daughter to eat pollo a la brasa/rotisserie chicken, while we were waiting for about 10 minutes for our food, the people sitting next to us, who came 15 minutes after us, had placed their order and THIER FOOD ARRIVED BEFORE OUR FOOD!! I can not even describe how good this place is!! The food is amazing, I had never had any issue, but today they forgot the rice with my order, I called and they said they would give me $3 back and they couldn't send me the rice because there was no grubhub driver to deliver it and if there were I would be charged $1,99 again for deliver in case they had to send me the driver with the rice THEY forgot to pack. Been coming here for 5+ years and the service and cleanliness have severely declined. Long delivery and order waits. The restaurant often has dirty seats and stains on the floor. The food and the price are what give them 3 stars. The pollo saltado, chaufa, and medio pollo are delicious. The aji sauce is to die for: we get it by the pint. If they clean the place up a bit and order some more staff, they will be on point again. read more

Three starts is a fair review. This is a great place for lunch take out. The lunch special is $7-$10 depending on what you order and you can usually split it amongst two people. I am beyond thrilled that they have opened. We frequented Fiesta when it was Fiesta Cove in Shippan and were saddened it closed even though replaced shortly thereafter by another Peruvian place with an almost identical menu. My husband couldn't understand why I wasn't as happy until we came here today. Now he understands - the food and price CAN'T be beat. Steak Milanese rocks, the green pasta (taliverde) melts in your mouth. They have the most amazing spicy green sauce and the bread is as it should be (crunchy outside and pillow-like inside). Love them and the staff are super courteous and friendly, I bought the groupon which is a really good option but I'm very mortified to say this, just because I really liked them but me and my girlfriend couldn't stay and eat here because I found little cockroaches in the bathroom! The waitresses all seem very biased dare I say prejudice as my friend and I weren't received with great hospitality . I ordered limo saltado which I had before and was great , today it was meh and season less . My friend ordered the limo saltado which was better than mine but not as good as it used to be. After the meal I tried using a groupon and was informed that because it was Memorial Day it can't be redeemed, I asked for the manager and explained to her that the groupon only says invalid Mother's Day and Valentine's Day only ! Location and food here are awesome, but unfortunately it seems it is unorganized and the wait for a waitress and attendance is horrible! Unlike another person who reviewed the restaurant, it has nothing to do with the complexion of your skin or if you are latino. I am a latina and we had to wait at least 15 minutes to get a waitress to give us menus and another 20 to get our order! As a person who works as a server clearly this place lacks organization skills. There were aloooot of servers just scattering around. I have been to Fiesta Atlantic twice, and both time have had a very good meal for the price, considering the centric location and how much food they give for each serving. I truly enjoy their Lomo Saltado, the Causa is very good as well. The sauce they serve to dip the bread in is HEAVENLY!! And they sell jars of it to go, a great gift for friends. The service is very good, quick and friendly. I will visit again to keep working through their menu:) read more

Came here for lunch as I work in the area. All my coworkers go every day so I wanted to try it. Ordered the steak chaufa to go. Rice was cooked well, steak was medium rare, had some peppers and onions. Absolutely amazing. Got some extra sauce (whatever the yellow sauce is) and poured it all over it (my coworker Charlie called this "getting your true fat kid on"). Tough to beat this place for many reasons. First, the food is amazing. Huge fan of the Lomo Saltado and if you don't like steak (lomo) , try the Pollo (chicken) Saltado. You know you found a good Peruvian restaurant when many of the customers are of Peruvian decent. Second, the service is extremely friendly and attentive. Fiesta Atlantic aims to please and the service and the food definitely do so. Third is the price. It is very tough to find similar quality and large portions for the Fiesta Atlantic price. Now, the ambiance is nothing special and the tables are close together. However I would trade good food with friendly service for white table cloths any day. Admittedly, I cannot judge the authenticity of the food however I can confirm Fiesta Atlantic is extremely tasty and worth the trip. read more

I think this place is ok. Had the lomo saltado today and the other time I've been there I had some sort of seafood rice thingee. I can't blame this restaurant for Peruvian food not being that great because for all I know they may be the best at it. I've only been to one other Peruvian place and I thought the same thing (volume, no taste). All of this said, if I wanted something that resembled a fried rice, I'd go to a Chinese place. To me, almost all of their dishes are like a South American version of a Chinese menu. I don't necessarily get it. Indian food is also better if you want rice with some kind of meat. Fiesta was my first restaurant experience in Stamford. I don't know much about Peruvian food, but I do know this: Pollo alla Brasa is delicious. It is the best deal on the menu. For less than $10 you get half of a perfectly roasted chicken, rice, and salad. I always add on some beans, which should really come with the dish in the first place. What really keeps me coming back is the mysterious yellow sauce they give you with every meal. I have absolutely NO idea what is is made of, or even what it is called! Please, someone enlighten me! The last time I went in to pick up my order, the girl at the counter asked me if I wanted ketchup and mayo with my chicken. My jaw dropped to the floor! Why would anyone want to ruin this with ketchup and mayo!? She replied, "lots of people ask for it, i don't know why. Look at the bins of ketchup and mayo packets we have..." Sure enough, there they were. I was gobsmacked. Yes, gobsmacked. Avoid the ketchup and mayo, and GO for the yellow mystery sauce! read more
