Chicken Curry with bay leaves, green bell peppers, carrots, and potatoes. *Chef's kiss!!*

Ok, I was hesitant to leave a glowing review of Fiesta Pinoy because part of me wants to gate-keep this amazing turo-turo (point-point) spot. But they deserve to be known because they deliver such amazing home cooked filipino food! The food is always hot and not dried out like other turo-turo restaurants. Located in the heart of Filipino Town (National City on 8th street), you won't be disappointed by whatever you order. This place is kind of a hole-in-the-wall location so you KNOW that the food is gonna be fire. You usually see hungry patrons enjoying their dishes at the restaurant as there's a good amount of tables and you can be entertained while watching the Filipino channel they have playing on the overhead TV. Plus, the cost is budget-friendly especially with our economy right now. You get the full pinoy experience lol. I love it, it's low key and the lady usually working there is always so sweet. She always hooks me up with potatoes whenever I order my chicken curry. I LOVE their chicken curry! They take cash, cards, and Apple Pay! Don't forget to buy some steamed peanuts or turon (banana lumpia) on your way out! They have so many good entree options to choose from so don't be afraid to try new things if they happen to be out of your go-to dishes. You won't be disappointed!

I always feel at home here. Friendly service, casual and delicious food choices. Had to have the Pinakbet and mungo plate again. Naimas!

Fiesta Pinoy catered my baby shower -- The food was incredibleeeeee and our guests kept going back for seconds/thirds. The BBQ was a hit! I couldn't have asked for a better experience, the whole process was stress-free, just exactly how you'd wish every event could be.

National City. Lots of parking in front. Good eats. One of my go to spots for fast Filipino food. Awesome customer service. Plenty of tables to sit & enjoy the ambiance. My kids love this place.

Wow, husband and I are still trying to figure out how we missed this place when we came to the…read morebakery a couple of doors away! So I was craving a certain Filipino dish, diniguan. And most of the ones I have tried does not compare to moms cooking. Because of mom's health she no longer cooks.... Husband was so kind listening to my food cravings and doing research, he found this place. First, this place is located in strip mall mostly made of food stops. Secondly and importantly, the parking is no joke! Come early and watch where you park. The parking is not plenty and the area is narrow, making it a challenge to see when pulling in or out of a parking space. When you get out of your car your sensory will be on overload on the aromas that seem to hook you by the nostrils! You walk in the restaurant and you will see the tables most likely all taken. How it works is you walk up to food counter and select what items you want. They offer different platter options. It was a lot going on up the food menu on the wall above the staff. Behind the counter it is well staffed so even though the line may be long it moves pretty quickly. Husband and I decided to go with a two item platter. My platter I choose half and half (rice and noodles) . My two items were chicken adobo and diniguan. We got an order of lumpia too. I found the chicken adobo to be pretty good! The chicken portion was pretty good. With chicken adobo there seems never to be enough of the sauce to saturate the rice. The diniguan to my surprise passed the test! It was tasty and had the right balance of flavors! I saved half to share with mom and she liked just as well. A plus for us is they serve seltzer (soda water)! They do have a self serve water station off to the side. The lumpia was good, but I probably would try one of the skewers next time. I forgot to mention that we had to ask to share a space at a table with another couple as there were no more open tables. They gladly shared. There are not outdoor seating. I would definitely visit this spot again.

Despite the restaurant not being as clean or well-maintained as one might expect, many customers, including myself, keep coming back because the food has traditionally been worth it. However, my last two visits have been disappointing. Since I now live more than an hour away, I don't get to visit often, so it's frustrating to make the drive only to find that some of the dishes I specifically came for--such as kalderetang kambing and sisig--were unavailable both times. What made the experience even more disappointing was the wait. The line was long, the weather was hot and sunny, and yet it barely seemed to move. It felt like the staff were in no hurry despite the number of customers waiting outside. I understand that food service can be busy and challenging, but the pace of service was frustratingly slow. The food is still good, and the portions remain generous, but between the limited availability of popular dishes and the lengthy wait times, my recent visits left me wondering whether the trip was worth it. I hope they can improve their inventory planning and speed of service because the restaurant definitely has the potential to provide a much better customer experience.

Hubby and I were literally blown away by the richness, savory, thickness and flavorful stew. Kare Kare is my all time fav Filipino dish, and THIS has been the best I've ever eaten. We also got the Tortasilog, and man...the smokiness and flavors, just delicious. Another all time fav. The flavors just hit. The sisig fries were good, a San Diego spin on one of my fav ulam's. It seems that whenever I get called to Chula Vista, National City or Mira Mesa, there's always a lola waiting for me with a broken PC and a plate of pancit or a freshly-fried stack of turon. Years ago, knowing that those friendly, insistent ladies will offer to feed me, no matter the time of day, I started scheduling appointments to their houses at lunchtime, because, well, it's just bad manners to say "no, thanks, I already ate." On my own, I learned to love kare-kare and the popular Pinoy variants of pork. I still crave the Rellenong Alimango (stuffed crab) I had, years ago, at a Filipino food stall in Singapore. After the bars close, I'll often hunt down a plate of sisig. And I'll follow any such meal with something sweet, like hopia, halo-halo, or anything ube. But I'm also a big fan of Filipino breakfast, and that's where Zarlito's comes in. I've never eaten there after 10 am, and while I'm sure I'm missing a lot of good stuff, I've been happy with the breakfasts I've been served, not least because the ladies running the place are kind, always seeming tickled to see a large white man enthusiastically chomping through plates of their food. Any -silog will do the trick. Zarlito's always offers great food at a decent price. I'm glad the place is still around, and whenever I'm in the area, I try to stop in. You should, too.

Service was friendly from our server and also the man in charge of the Karaoke was very nice, offering us to sing and even saying thanks to us for dining when we were leaving.
