I ask the bartender if there are any specials. He only gives me the happy hour menu. I am walking back from the restroom and see there is a taco bar. The guy there tells me it's free for these tacos. I ask the bartender to let me change my order. He tells me it's only a salsas bar no tacos. Then he argues with me after telling me taco Tuesday is $2.00 a taco and I said I still want to change my 3 taco plate I ordered to the bar because it's cheaper than $7.50. And when I ordered my 3 taco plate he said I had to pick only one meat. I wanted beef chicken and pork so the bar would still be better. He finally said he would give me the three meats. What's so hard about that and he needs to learn simple math. Tacos and carne fries were both good. Not a great experience this evening. Drink order was taken, then dinner order. Food came out 34 mins later. Food arrived on two large trays, turned out this was not all the entrees, he disappeared into the kitchen for several more minutes and finally someone else brought out the last plates. None of the table received tortillas and I had to flag someone down to ask for them. We were told they were being made to order and after some time they came as well. When our server was attending he seemed upbeat and friendly, but overall he seemed very detached. They had a drummer playing along to pop songs, waaaay too loud. The shrimp was overly fried in what tasted like old oil and the green Chile sauce tasted canned. My husband ordered chicken in cream sauce and he LITERALLY got only 3 tiny strips of chicken and the rest was all sauce and peppers. I usually never leave reviews but I am very frustrated with this Uber eats order I have just recieved. I ordered the chicken tortilla soup and it is more of like a sauce with such thick consistency. People who go here and never come back because of one bad experience are insane. The service is great and the music is nice. The place has a nice feel to it and the bathrooms are better than any fast food restaurant has to offer. If there is one flaw with the place it's the fact that some foods are more underwhelming than others. I found the hatch burrito amazing. But the California and the Mega burritos weren't what I was hoping for. Not to say they were bad, no food on this menu is bad, just underwhelming. We asked around for the best Mexican food in the area and city of Kennewick. This was the one most folks suggested and it didn't fail to please us. It isn't outstanding food but provides a pretty standard fare that is good. The margaritas were okay...nothing to write home about but satisfying. My carnitas were mostly well flavored and moist although some portions were a bit dry. It's plenty of food, that's for sure! Go with a big appetite or the desire to share an entree. The service was great. Our waitperson, Gio, had an infectious sense of joy, a great sense of humor and was very attentive as were other staff. Definitely a good restaurant. read more

My husband and I came here a couple of times a while back. The food that we had before was bland not a lot of flavor at all in the fajitas. We decided to try this place again since it's close to our house. We ordered the crazy fajitas and they were phenomenal! It was also a nice portion since my husband and I split them. There are a lot of Mexican restaurants in town but this is the one that I frequent. I love seafood and so I always order their clams and anything with shrimps in it. They don't skimp on ingredients. The shrimps are big and they're cooked just right. They have a salsa bar. They also have a lady that goes around making fresh guacamole. It's interesting to watch how many ingredients go into one and how tasty it is when done. Their portions are generous enough to be shared, making it a good value meal. read more

We went there a few days ago and it has been quite a while that we have been there. If Yelp would be a zero or a half star option that's what I would have to give a zero. My husband ordered the "Carne Asada", which was cut to thin. It was dry and chewy, the knife barely cut through. There was no seasoning to it and very disappointing. If you think that was bad, mine was worse. I ordered the "Hatch chili chicken, spicy". It looks nothing like the picture on the menu which look delicious and immersed in a nice sauce. Yet instead of that, the food was basically hidden under a huge blob of cheese that had already hardened and didn't melt or give. I had to cut through it to see what's underneath, and that was disappointing even more. I found just a few pieces of chicken, but most of it was a big bed of rice, which is cheap and a few bell peppers and onions. It being spicy was a complete lie and I don't think, other than salt and pepper a spice jar found that dish because it was flavorless and ridiculous. I think the cheese was literally on top to make it look like it's a big portion of yummy, but it was a big portion of disappointment. I picked around to try to find a few pieces that were edible and then literally did not eat hardly anything. I know this sounds extra mean, but I would not even feed that dish to my dog! Very disappointing, since my husband and I are just now retired and want to go out more. I can cook up a storm with my left hand and the right one tight behind my back, so I thought it's nice to go out more and not always have to deal with the kitchen clean up in my home. But I guess that's not going to change because I would've loved what I made 1,000% more than what I got and could've made four meals out of what we paid for this disappointment, lol We were so upset because we spent $72 us for something that was below the lowest level. The server was nice, but that doesn't really help. Also, we had ordered guacamole as an additional appetizer and the waiter forgot to put in that order. But when I think about how awful our two main dishes were, I'm glad he forgot because we would've possibly been even more upset, assuming it would be sub-par as our dinners were, already enough about time and money wasted Will NEVER go back there again read more

We met a friend here for dinner, who says this is now his favorite Mexican restaurant in town. It is a large place, but we were quickly seated and waited on. We had chips and salsa, and selected a couple more from the salsa bar that were quite good. My wife had Arroz con Pollo (chcken over rice), which does not come with beans in most restaurants, but does here. She was very happy with her choice. I ordered Camarones Con Crema (shrimp in a cream sauce) after the waiter said it was one of his favorites. I agree, the cream sauce was much more interesting than most places make this dish. The waiter also said that Camarones al Mojo de Ajo (garlic shrimp) is on their computer, but not on the menu, so i could order it next time. I will try to remember, since we agree with our friend that this is a favorite Mexican restaurant. read more

We have eaten at Fiesta for years. Their food used to be awesome, but since Covid hit & everything was takeout, their food from that point on has been barely mediocre. I called in and asked for 2 taco salads. I said 2-3 times to please put the meat, beans and anything else on the side that was hot, because the lettuce gets all withered & slimy when it is put on & the lid is closed. This is at least the 4th time this has happened, between the different stores. We generally order at the Pasco store, but tonight did the Gage store in Kennewick. Another time we went into the Pasco store & I ordered nachos. Not one chip was enjoyable. Every chip on the plate was completely soggy with cheese. It was totally swimming in greasy cheese. Not one nice crispy chip on the plate. I had to eat the nachos with a fork! All chips were completely collapsed & soggy. Nasty. Tonight's taco salads came to almost $30! Fiesta? You should be grateful that you have customers that even purchase from your store. The cost of food has skyrocketed. For someone to splurge & buy dinner out, deserves your very best quality foods, and cooked appropriately. $30 dollars on a meal we couldn't even eat! Since Covid, restaurants think it is okay to shove horrific food into the bag & then tie the bag up so you can't check it before leaving the restaurant, then won't refund your money when you couldn't even eat it! Shame on you! You don't deserve to be in business when you treat customers this way. So I am really done with Fiesta & any other restaurant that does this from now on.
