Appreciate the tasting to decide which beer I wanted to try out (Bomb Pop). Ordered a burger and fries as well. Burger looks like a huge burger but is more of a slider burger. Very tasty and crinkle fries will win me over each time. Lots of families hanging out and enjoying the evening. Nice play area to keep the kids busy. No one playing volleyball but all the TVs has the Reds game on. Service at the bar was friendly, fast, and accommodating. If in Mason, stop by this location - you won't be disappointed! read more

I really loved visiting this new location of 50 West. I came on a Friday around 4pm to meet up with some friends. The weather was very nice so it was already quite busy but we were able to find a table as there is so much seating available on the property. You order your drinks and food from the counter and they will text you when ready. The staff was all very nice and helpful. My food was excellent, especially the Maple Bacon milkshake which was to die for. The beer is always good and there is a big selection. This place has lots to offer for all ages and is even dog friendly! Parking was a little bit crazy at a time when it was busy but hopefully that will die down soon! read more

I live nearby, and have been to this location 20-30 times. The last time I was there, I ordered the same thing I ways do: barbecue wings. This time, the wings came out and were unlike anything I'd eaten there (including the last time I was there, six days prior). It was 40% mustard, maybe more. Confused I asked the pickup window to remake it with barbecue sauce. Except no, the staff and manager maintain that this mustardly travesty was made using the same barbecue sauce recipe since time immemorial. Perfect. Evidently I was having a stroke every other time I ate those wings, and only today did I have the mental acuity to experience its true flavor. I like mustard as much as the next guy, but barbecue wings the color of the inside of a mango is where I draw the line. Get it together. read more

It was very crowded with lots of people coming & going. I struggled to find a table at first but a couple was kind enough to let me join them at the fire pit. I enjoyed a delicious strawberry margarita slushie from the bar which was quick with no wait and very yummy. I enjoyed my drink before ordering the buffalo wings, which were my favorite, as an appetizer and then later enjoyed the West Virginia Burger & Fries. The wait to order was very quick & friendly and the food took roughly 10-15 mins to come out so very great on timing! The West Virginia Burger included Apple Butter, American Cheese, Bacon & Caramelized Onion. In my opinion the Apple butter was way too much and very overpowering. I had a hard time finishing it and the fries were just fine, nothing incredible from them. Wings were definitely the star of the evening and would go back for them for sure. Overall I would say it's a great place for large groups, as each person can get what they want and lots of cool activities like pickle ball & sand volleyball courts that add great entertainment with drinks & food! The burger was one of the best I have had in months! And the fries were some of the best I have had. The service was quick since we picked up our food 5 minutes after ordering. The outside is perfect for everyone with the pickleball courts, the volleyball nets, and best of all the tables in the sand. Came here because in-laws suggested the place to eat. I'd categorize this place as "trendy". But, just for a certain clentele. I suppose that if you like volleyball and pickleball it's your jam. Will be interesting to see how this place will survive in an Ohio winter. We got burgers and I will just say they are ok. But, I would not necessarily drive out of my way or make a special trip to eat here. I'd categorize the food as average. If beer is you jam then this might work. Perhaps you'll be too drunk at some point to overlook the cold average burger. It's probably going to bebinteresting to see how those who will buy a million dollar loft will enjoy having a noisy venue smack dab in the middle of their life. My suggestion? Give it a try. I will NOT be back! I keep giving this place another try, and they keep failing. I'm done! The facility is fantastic! Pickle ball, many TV's, plenty of seating, good location. That's why I gave it a second star. But that's the extent of my praise. The food is always between marginal and bad, which is a sin for a goldmine venue like this! The beverage options and quality are just mediocre. My most recent beverage was their blackberry vodka seltzer, which has to be the most boring, most over-priced canned beverage I've had in a long time. But my biggest issue is service. One of my recent visits was on the first Friday afternoon of the NCAA basketball tournament. The place was shockingly empty, but you'd never know it by the hideous service. There were 15 patrons, probably a dizen staff members, and STILL the service sucked. I essentially had to keep serving myself, each time receiving a hollow apology from my server. sone items have to be retrieved from the outside ice cream area, some can only be served at the bar by the bartender, just frustrating service practices. But as a food destination, no. PS Asking customers to stand in line to order AND fetch their food, while pre-programming the default tip from 20% to 25%, is ridiculous. Kind of surprised at all the other reviews as we really enjoyed this place! Came here on a Monday around 6:30p and the place was crowded. It's a huge space with several different seating areas and things to do! There were people playing pickle ball and volleyball while others were just enjoying their meal in the open air! It has a very trendy feel! You order at the counter and then they text you when your food is ready. We ordered the Kansas City Burger, BYO Chicken Sandwich, and Cheeseburger Kids Meals! The Kansas City Burger was great and the barbecue sauce had great flavor. It came with coleslaw on the burger but I asked to have mine on the side. So glad I did as the coleslaw was not my favorite...had too much of a vinegary taste...more like Italian dressing or something. The Chicken Sandwich was crispy and the kids meal portion is huge. This is such a great and fun place for kids and families! The place is huge with both tons of indoor and outdoor space. The kids have a blast playing with the sand and the food is great! We've been to 50 West in Cincinnati before, and were intrigued to hear they were opening one in the Deerfield/Mason area. Well, it went up quickly, and we thought it had ample parking, but even for a Thursday night, it was packed. Beach volleyball players filled all the courts, and just past them we saw the pickleballers doing their thing, too. It's a scene from the 50's with the whole diner motif - if they had a bigger parking lot, I'd suggest a classic car event. Got inside and we loved the menu - pick a protein, pick a style. I went with a "Utah burger" - their classic burger, but with pastrami & Swiss cheese. My wife ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and we shared an order of pita chips (guacamole, veggies & hummus). After we placed the food order, I stepped to the bar and ordered their Oktoberfest beer. Text message lets me know the food's ready for pickup. I opened my burger and the bun was truly suffering from the steam. My fault, I ordered the lettuce, but it was a full leaf of lettuce - they didn't cut it or even try to make it fit. Had a tough time managing to keep the burger and bun together, it was a mess. Too bad, because on a pretzel bun or even a heartier bun it may have held up better. Heck, just toast the generic hamburger bun you're using and maybe it'll do better. Looked over at my wife and she was having the same problem with hers. Love the creative menu, but their execution is a bit off. Service is certainly on point, everyone seems very happy to be working there, and the Oktoberfest beer was tasty, refreshing, and definitely the highlight of the visit. This place must have some amazing beer. They have to. That's the only way I can explain anyone coming here to eat. Excited to try the new spot near home, we loaded up and went out to get some food. Great design for the place - for good weather anyway. I have no idea how much fun it will be when it's cold, hot, rainy, windy, etc. It seems 80% of the place is outdoors, and this is Ohio. The staff member taking our orders was great. The process was fine - order then they call you up to get your food. I was a bit annoyed that they insisted on my phone number and my first & last name. Do they really need all that? They said it was just to let us know when the order was ready. Then we got our food - several burgers, wings, fries and shakes. The good news was we could taste the shakes. I checked the receipt and was surprised that my single burger (ordered as a double, but on my plate and the receipt as a single) was $13! It was smaller than my phone! The burgers, buns, cheese and bacon were completely tasteless. And completely unseasoned. The wings had some taste - but only where they were burned and that taste was charcoal. And they were very burned. The fries were like eating air. I had a completely new experience in my life - putting a half eaten fry down and leaving it. There was no point to them. The barbecue sauce seemed to be 60% salt, 40% vinegar, and completely lacking in any barbecue sauce flavorings. After eating I looked at the receipt again. I realized that I misread it - it said "add patty" at the bottom. I was supposed to get a double and not a single! I quickly hid the receipt and smiled. I did not want the double because I would then be in danger of eating it. I was happy to pay the extra to avoid that fate. The shakes, however, were remarkably good. EDIT: Good news! The food may be bad, but it doesn't stay with you long! Only bad part is my wife and I have had to keep running to the bathroom the entire next morning. read more

They don't have the largest proportions but they do make a decent burger. They have really good shakes and a great variety of food. There is plenty to do here like sand volleyball and at other locations tennis/pickleball and the atmosphere is great. The food typically doesn't take too long but the place is always packed so good on them. read more
