Just visited the Fillmore Laundromat a couple of days ago for the first time... VERY happy with the number of very new washing machines and dryers; it is clean, very well maintained and fairly spacious. I think there are ample folding tables, at least compared to where I was taking my laundry before! I actually had to fold my laundy on the tops of washers! The oversized washers here require that you use your debit/credit card, which is fine with me. It's a tiny bit pricey for the big machine, but when you consider the amount of laundry/loads you can get in the machine, it all works out fine! Another great thing is there is PARKING! I live apprx. 2 miles away, but even if I lived 2 blocks away, I would still be driving over in my car :) I love the convenience of parking. So I think they really deserve 3.5 stars, but here's my experience. I called them 5/6 times over 4 days about pricing, services, and if my laundry was done. They never picked up. I went there anyway for my second ever wash and fold service. I talked to the woman who worked there, said it would be ready in 3 days. I asked if it could be done any sooner, she said 2 days. I go in after two days and there were no employees there. I figure maybe someone stepped out for a few minutes. I go shopping nearby and come back after about an hour. Still no one. I knocked on the office door both times and called them. I'm frustrated but I go back the next day and someone is there but didn't seem incredibly knowledgeable about the wash and fold service. But I have to say the price wasn't bad. I normally pay like $20 in my building's machines to do that laundry and spend like 45 minutes folding with two people. This was $46 and was folded and packed well and smelled clean. To be honest though, this review would probably be a star or two lower if I didn't live so close - stopping by wasn't a tremendous waste of time for me. read more

The good. There is always machines available for you. There are a good varieties of sizes for your need. The machines are relatively new. Aceept credit card, apple pay, android pay. Fancy! There is a parking lot. It's shared with other stores, and you might need to park further away since it's always crowed. Employees are nice even though they might not know too much english. The bad. Their android pay/apply pay will charge you $5 for your payments, then update it to the correct amount later. Don't be scared. It doesn't really look like a safe neighboorhood. It's like day and night compared to fillmore street. read more

This place is fine. I went in on a Sunday hoping for wash and fold and was told that the earliest I could have my laundry back was Wednesday. There was no option for faster service, which was disappointing. But lucky for me, there were tons of washers available. The people who work here are friendly, but some of the washers had standing water in them, and one smelled overwhelmingly of bleach and mold. I'm definitely not confident that my clothes are the cleanest they've ever been, and in the end between having to wash one load twice (it just didn't smell right) and the extra charge for anything over "light soil" I ended up spending about $12 to do my own laundry. They also don't have dryer sheets in the vending machine. I will say that the dryers at Fillmore Laundromat are some of the best that I've ever used -- they dried a large load in 30 minutes, half the time of my (currently broken) home dryer. read more

I used to like come to this laundry for big stuff like my be stuff I have laundry in my complex but they're small machines.. but from a mon ago I hate it .. I try to be ther at 5:45 to get the big machine but no because the workers don't like to share them they say that they need to use all of them I only need one ore two big ones but I hate they said no we need to use all of them .. this laundry became a hat place to me to come because this lady's don't have any sympathy or customer service? read more

Came here on a Saturday around 6pm to wash 8 comforters, 10 pillows and 10 sheets. I spend around 75$. I saw a new Spanish lady working here and a client asked to use the bathroom. She said someone is using the bathroom and to come back in 5 minutes. I needed to use the bathroom too. I decided to go to Safeway to use the bathroom and come back. I went to Safeway and unfortunately there bathroom was out of order. I went back to the laundromat and asked the Spanish lady if I may use the bathroom and she said it was closed. I said you told a client before me to come back in 5 minutes to use the bathroom and now the bathroom is closed? She said the key is locked in the office and she only had access to one side of the office. I was heated because she was lying to me and I still had to go to the bathroom!! I told her I've been coming to this laundromat for 10 years and your lying about not having access to the front of the office for the bathroom key. The only way to get in is from the side!! She had an attitude! Then said I don't speak English so I repeated everything to her in Spanish. She had the nerve to trash talk in Spanish to one of her friends there and said I am working here and being disturbed! Nothing to do with common courtesy for her customers. I felt discriminated! And did not want to engage anymore. I decided to put all my comforters, pillows and sheets in the both mega dryers and I rushed home to use the bathroom and came all the way back to the laundromat. By then a client said your comforters fell out of the dryer and I pushed them back in for you, I said thank you. By then the new Spanish lady was no longer there. I also noticed one of my pillows erupted and all the cotton fell out of it! By that time Maria the lady who does the closing shift was helpful and nice helped me with a broom to pick up all the pillow droopings and then I noticed a client asked Maria if they could use the bathroom, she said yes and went off to search for the key. it took Maria15 minutes to find the key! Maria mentioned the key was well hidden but she let the client use the bathroom. If that new Spanish lady allowed me to use the bathroom my comforters would have not fallen out of the dryer and I could have avoided an erupted pillow. I had a terrible experience. I've been calling the laundromat number to reach the owner but the magic Jack is always busy and can't leave a message. I even wrote an email on their website asking the owner to please get back to me, I left my phone number and email and nobody has emailed or called me back. I am now faced to go to another laundromat all because of bad customer service!! read more

The crew working at this laundry are seriously awesome. The place is always clean and the high capacity machines are always available. It is great just to have so many. It saves me time, money and stress to get my schtuff clean. I came here when my laundry at Fillmore and California Street closed down... which was sad. But one of those employees was working at the new place. It's handy it is next to the Safeway, so I can do all kinds of things whiule I am doing laundry. I can go get coffee and a donut.... I can get groceries.... Thank goodness they also have free WiaFi too! I am on it right now... yes, I am typing this review while waiting for my laundry to finish up. We moved to the apartment next door and the washer and dryer at our complex it's either no machine available. So tried this place oh my, what a wonderful experience. Machines are really big and new. It's save us time and money if we use this compare to our complex machines. One star less since my mother and in law had to maneuver over a homeless man next to building. read more

I just got ripped off here.the machine ate my money and then the attendant reset the machine and called the owner to get permission to refund my lousy 2.25. He told her I was probably lying (?!) and that if I wanted my money back I could come in the next morning at 630 am to get my refund. The attendant then suggested my wife broke the machine, which is nonsense. Getting screwed by a machine is a bummer, but hey, it happens. Being insulted and ripped off in such a petty manner doesn't have to happen. If you prefer not to get ripped off and insulted, I'd strongly suggest going to a better laundramat. read more

If only there was a tanning salon in this shopping plazza, then I could fully execute my Gym (club one), tan, laundry. So yea the only plus is it is across the street from my gym and I can work out while the laundry is going or pick up some stuff at safeway. But this place is weak and crusty, the macheines are old and give u less time for each quarter. Some fo the machienes jack your quarters. and there are just some real unsavory characters lurking, near the real savory popeyes that is doing a hell of a buisness on Tuesdays, yardbird bones everywhere! read more

What a fantastic laundromat! The first thing you'll notice is the cleanliness of the place. The staff and owner, Parikshit, are very attentive to their customers and have done a great job with the renovation. They are very friendly and helpful. Let me start by saying that I do like this place but my experience few days ago was bad. 1. They say last wash is at 8:30 and they close at 10. I was there before 8:30 and started the washer right away. As soon as it was done (the same minute it stopped) I took my clothes out and put them into several dryers to make sure that they would dry fast. When the dryer stopped I touched the clothes and some of them were still wet so I had to add more money (and I had to do this more than once). I am not sure what time my clothes were dry enough to take out but I did not have enough time to fold my things. The lady working there was unhappy trying to make me leave. I understand that they close at 10 and she needs to clean up and just wants to go home but then they have to: - either make a last wash at 8 or even 7:30 (so people have enough time to dry their clothes and fold them) OR - have better dryers so that you would not have to wait for 40 min for your stuff to dry (my dryers were almost empty) 2. Around 9 - 9:15 the lady that works there starts washing the floor. The chemicals that she uses have very strong and bad smell. They burn my nose and throat when I breath. Sometimes she would just leave the bucket out and go clean something else. Wouldn't it make sense to just wait for people to get out or leave the bucket in the restroom or somewhere else so that we would not have to suffer? Other than that this is a very clean place and they have wifi which helps kill time. Would most likely still go back there but probably at earlier time so i don't get kicked out with unfolded clothes again. read more

We are in San Francisco on holiday and came across this laundromat through a google search of the area and are so glad we did. It had heaps of washers and driers in various sizes, wifi and a great location next to Safeway/Starbucks. The owner was also super helpful and had some great recommendations about places to eat/see in San Fran. Next time we're in San Fran will definitely go there and will recommend to others travelling there. read more

One of the cleaner laundromats in san francisco, but my problem with this laundromat is the customer service. I went in for the wash and fold service. Dropped it off the day before and they told me that it would be ready by noon the next day. I went in around 1:40pm to pick up my laundry and waited until 2:30pm for an attendant to arrive, even though their in house service hours are from 9am-5pm. I finally left and called back numerous times until someone finally answered the phone so i could confirm that someone was there so i could pick up my clothes. When i got there, the person on duty told me that they had to change the price on my quote because they didnt know i had a blanket in my laundry, even though he was the same person that helped me the day before with my quote and told me that it was my fault and that i should have read the prices. They also told me there was an atm at the smoke shop next door. 1. If you post that you are open during certain hours, you should be available to help customers. I understand that people need lunch, but a sign that says out for lunch or "be back at . ." Should be posted so your customers know whats going on. 2. If you are going to change a price on a customer, you should call them and let them know what is going on. That is one of the reasons we leave our contact information with you guys. 3. You guys should probably inspect what you are washing when giving quotes. Don't blame it on the customer when you are the one doing all the talking when you are giving the quotes. You should have pointed out the prices to me instead of trying to rush for the "2 mins to drop off, 2 mins to pick up" slogan you guys have, even though it is not that fast. In fact i probably spent enough time there to do my own laundry and probably would have if i knew what was going on. 4. Do not recommend using an atm from a smoke shop next door after you change the price on us. Its already bad enough you changed the price on me . . you're really gonna suggest for me to use an atm machine that probably charges a crazy amount just to use for a $12 price change? I dont think i will ever go back to this laundromat for the wash and fold service. read more

Free Wifi, much cleaner and brighter place with fresh paint, newer machines and of course, friendlier staff makes my experience not so chore like. I've never had such horrible customer service in my life. It was my first time and I go there to get my laundry serviced and he quotes me a price. I agreed and left my clothes with them. I come back the next day at lunch and apparently they take a 2 hour lunch because no one is there until 2. When I finally get helped they said they had to charge me more because there was a blanket that he didn't see. They either had a choice of not washing the blanket, giving me a chance to say no or yes, or eat their mistake. (they had my number) But he decides to blame me for not reading the prices and attempts to hold my clothes hostage. (As I only brought enough cash for the initial quote). read more

I come here for my laundry. They recenlty raised the price. Pakring is a challege if you want to park in front of the store. However, if you don't mind carrying your super heavy laundry, you can park futher away at the parking lot. Some of thier machines do accept credit card and apple/android pay, but those machines are very limited. If come here with your phone only, you might be screwed. read more

Pari and his team at Fillmore Laundromat are wonderful! Everything is clean and all the machines work exceptionally well. The staff is super helpful, honest and simply very kind. I've done my own laundry there and been very pleased with the value for the price, the location (parking!) and the efficiency I can take advantage of. Never miss a NFL game while you do laundry with a wide screen tv, vending machines, and attentive, friendly staff. The facility is always clean and centrally located for running other errands. The wash and fold option is fantastic - neatly folded and without wrinkles. The self option is a synch with the washers of all sizes and dryers that actually dry (60 min is best).
