Fantastic, Delicious... upscale Italian restaurant that is so old school you'll say I don't have to travel to Brooklyn or the Bronx to enjoy the true essence of Italian cuisine. Entree's are fresh, plentiful, and outstanding. Any breaded dish can be made gluten free, and they offer gluten free pasta as well. Sausage Broccoli Rabe egg rolls are spectacular. Full bar and nice wine list to order from. The star here is the service, top notch and very knowledgeable and everyone chips in to help each other out. Highly recommend and will be returning frequently.

Ordered delivery. The baked clams were amazing until I ate the last one and it was super fishy YUCK. The chicken francese was good but a little too sticky if you ask me. The chicken parm was good. The penne à la vodka was decent.

Came to celebrate our 7 year wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. The food was old school Italian and it was made right. The ONLY thing I didn't enjoy was my dide of broccoli raab, the garlic tasted a little burnt and gave it a weird taste. It was the only thing we didn't finish. Other than that, we absolutely loved the rest of our meal. We didn't get dessert because we had cake at home, but next time we go we'll definitely try some. The service was fantastic, our waiter was attentive and made sure we were enjoying everything and the bar tender made a fantastic martini. The restaurant ambiance is lovely and it seems to be a go to place for couples and families. I'm glad we decided to check Filomena's out, and I look forward to going back again!

Their antipasto course is phenomenal & their penne vodka is one of my favorites but unfortunately the shell steak had no real flavor & the chicken parm was a bit mediocre this time around. Service was awesome as per usual!

I have always wanted to try out this restaurant. I heard good things about this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The interior was bright and clean looking. The service was excellent. Waiters helping out each other was great to see. The food was excellent. I started with the grilled octopus and my galpal had the stuff calamari. Both appetizers were delicious. For my entree I the filet of sole in white wine sauce and my galpal had a shrimp dish with Marsala sauce mushroom and cheese. Both dishes were excellent. The restaurant was packed. Service was excellent. Food was excellent. Would I come back? Absolutely.

Went for dinner tonight without a reservation and they made room for us in the back room. There were many good specials to choose from. We got calamari and a house salad for starters. They take their time in between courses which is nice. We got penne vodka, chicken parm and sunday sauce for mains and all were enjoyed. Their red sauce is great and meatballs were so tender. My family enjoyed their tartufo for dessert as well as a toasted almond coconut cake which was amazing. The service was excellent- friendly and attentive.

So my wife stands 100 % correct !!! The food and service over here is on point !!! Eating here just last Saturday for my cousins engagement party was truly an amazing experience and brought back so many good memories of my Nana's real deal home authentic Italian cooking .... Their appetizers one after the other were delicious; Their antipasto; Their eggplant rotini; Their fried calamari; Their mini potato croquettes & we can't forget their roasted artichoke hearts even their pizza unbelievable every dish tastier then the next.... Pasta; I had their penny à la vodka and my wife had the penny Filetto de Pomodoro both dishes 100 % we had to share em ... Dinner; we both went with their shell steak & roasted potatoes & string beans sautéed with garlic and oil super delicious... I saw their other dinners and again one looked more appetizing than the other; Shrimp Scampi, Veal Marsala; Chicken franchise & their Brozzini all were delicious as per the rest of our family .. As I said my wife & her family eats here frequently and for sure I will be making this restaurant one of my twice a month eatery ... Highly recommend this restaurant and I can't wait to eat here again and take more pictures for our yelpers ... Thanks Filomena's Greg D &

Sunday night dinner at Filomena's, hungry and ready. The restaurant greets you with the bar and two seat booths on the left, and full table service beyond. It's a warm and intimate environment. The service came quickly and we were underway. The bread, served warm and with butter was a tasty way to get start. We ordered the mussels appetizer and a baked artichoke app which was one of the specials. They were both delicious. I ordered a special, the Fillet of Sole with a side of pasta marinara. The fish was divine; warm, flaky and lightly breaded. I will definitely be back to try some of the other menu items.

This is a "Passion fruit Martini " -a perfect blend of world- class vodka with nodes of passion fruit.

We ordered a slice of Grandma pizza, cold antipasto for two, calamari fritti, Caesar salad, pasta alla vodka, shrimp scampi, and chicken Francese. Needless to say, we left with plenty of leftovers. The standout item was the Grandma pizza, which was excellent. The crust, sauce, and overall flavor were exactly what we were hoping for. The other dishes were good, but generally average and not particularly memorable or exceptional. Nothing was bad, but aside from the pizza, nothing really distinguished itself from similar offerings at other local Italian restaurants. The service was personable and friendly. However, it fell short of exemplary. We had to ask several times to have our water glasses refilled. To be fair, it was a very busy evening and our waiter appeared to have his hands full, which likely contributed to the oversight. The décor felt somewhat dated and could benefit from an update. While ambiance isn't everything, it does contribute to the overall dining experience. For us, the biggest drawback is location. At about a 25-minute drive from home, we didn't find the experience compelling enough to justify a return visit. There are simply too many other restaurants on our list that we'd rather try or revisit. While we don't regret giving it a chance, it's probably a one-and-done visit for us.

I had to change plans quickly as I looked at the specials they had going on that day wow! We decided to go with the duck and the monkfish main course entrees instead. Life is about making the right choices and this was the best decision I made that day lol! The duck was cooked to perfection soft on the inside crispy on the outside wow! I really like how juicy and fatty the duck was very succulent and delicious yummy. I especially liked the wine sauce on top among taste sweet with a slight tart to it juts the right balance I was impressed. Definitely one of the best duck dishes I've ever had it's a special so I'm not sure if it will be available when you decide to go call ahead would be my suggestion and your best bet. Laslty the side with butter squash was also a delight to eat and treat! Second course was the monkfish which was great as well. It had a slightly Smokey flavor to my pallet and a slight crunch on the outside maybe it was torched or seared not sure. Whatever the case it was a great touch to the dish very tasty and juicy as well. I love the sauce and the sides were great mashed potatoes with broccoli yummy! I highly recommend this place for brunch, lunch, or dinner take your pick. They will not disappoint you at all that's for sure. I'm not sure how this place is in the evening as I've only gone during the day. I hope the chef gets to read this and know his work is appreciated and noticed! The staff and waiters are very accommodating and knowledgeable about the entrees and food in general. Great service and energy I will come again and repeat whenever possible. I liken the music they play in the background it's not too loud and always sets a great tone for the place. The windows bring in great light and the decor is tasteful and elegant gives a bistro vibe to me personally. You might think differently let us know anyway. The first time, I ordered the fried calamari with red pepper sauce for $24. There was far more breading than actual calamari, and the dish was severely lacking in seasoning. It honestly made me wonder if anyone in the kitchen had heard of salt and pepper. After I called to explain my experience, the staff acknowledged that they had received similar complaints about their takeout calamari and invited me back so they could make it right. Today, I stopped in and ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza with sausage and extra cheese. Unfortunately, the experience was no better. The pizza wasn't even heated enough to melt the cheese. The sausage appeared undercooked, wasn't sliced properly, and was served in large chunks. I work on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, one of the most expensive neighborhoods in the city, where a comparable slice costs about $6. Here, I paid $8 for a slice that was bland and lacked flavor. If you're considering dining here, I would recommend spending your hard-earned money elsewhere. Based on my experiences, the food was overpriced, poorly prepared, and simply not worth it.
