I greatly appreciate off the grid authentic ethic restaurant gems and Sultans did not disappoint. We were seated immediately, peruse the menu, placed our order and were pleasantly surprised at how quickly our dishes began to arrive. From salad to dessert each dish arrived with appropriate time in between courses to savor each one without feeling rushed. The Chef owner is Russian from the Turkish area of Russia, his wife is Uzbekistani, hence; Russian, Turkish, Uzbek cuisine is prominently featured. If you wish to experience a trifecta of various cuisines; interesting tasty flavors; excellent efficient friendly service, Sultan's deserves a prominent place on your list. Stop by and see if you don't agree.

We walked in with no expectations and an empty stomach when most restaurants were shut down for Labor Day. What a fantastic find! We ordered a wide variety of dishes from dumplings to kebabs and weren't disappointed. Service was incredibly quick and the whole restaurant was very very clean. Wish we lived closer, because we would be back often for those dumplings!

Don't know how it was a year ago but we just had lunch here and we loved everything. The server was very kind and understanding. We got our appetizers quick and the entrees came later. Very nice people running the restaurant. As a Slavic person, we have the same traditional food but their food is on another level of delicious. The dumplings were delicious. Thin dough with juicy inside. The kebabs were delicious and juicy. Everything was just perfect! We always got take out and go here often. Will be coming here again and again. Thank you for a welcoming service.

We picked up the mixed platter and a kunafe from Sultan's. The kabab did not taste like Turkish kabab. They did not provide any salad, bread, or sauces. Just some bulgur and kabab with a roasted tomato, pepper and some onions for $25. The kunafe was very burnt, to the point where the back was black and it smelled/tasted burnt. Do not recommend this place

Very good!!! First time here and we will be back.. love the hummus and stuffed cabbage. Waiting for my kanas to get here. But it doesn't matter, the food so far has been perfect.

The light gradually changed to blue, pink and purple.

We recently found a gem of a restaurant for dinner. Sultan is located off a busy intersection, and it is easy to drive past without noticing it. We were very pleasantly surprised. It was a Saturday night but it was not busy. The service was friendly and attentive. The bread is hot and delicious!. It was perfect for dipping in our hummus appetizer and olive oil. We ordered lamb and chicken kabobs, and the meat was tender and flavorful. These came as complete meals with bulgar, rice, a large very hot green pepper, and a cooked tomato. The surrounding light above us changed colors while we ate. This, and the booths and chair styles, felt retro. The prices are reasonable, and there is ample parking. They do not have a liquor license, but you can bring your own wine or beer. Give it a try!

Been here several times, food is good and place is nice. Their portions and sizes are good too. Only thing I don't like it how the waitresses aren't very friendly. Would come again because their food is really good and service is fast. As for their bucklava, was disappointed.

"We invite you to have a taste of Germany, no passport required"-Munich Haus…read more A truly authentic German restaurant with loads of events at the restaurant, banquet hall, & outdoor biergarten featuring live music. Big place that takes up a entire corner in downtown Chicopee, MA. Three parking lots behind the restaurant. Offering lunch & dinner Sun-Thu 11:30am-9pm, Fri & Sat 11:30am-10pm. We visited here on Saturday evening April 18. 2026. This place was highly recommended by our friends from the German-american Club of Albany (NY). Half our party had been here many previous times & for the other half, it was our first time. This day they were hosting their annual wild game feast in the banquet hall. 50+ people attended this event. Munich Haus has 20 or so special events per year. Our party of six was here for dinner. Our server was the spunky Maria who made this a memorable dinner. We were here for their famous schnitzels. A hearty meal excellently prepared and served eight ways. Comes with soup or salad and choice of two sides (i.e. spaetzle, potato pancakes, sauerkraut, red cabbage, or chef's vegetable). Also you can get a schnitzel sampler of 3 varieties. WOW! Also offered are sauerbraten, rouladen, chicken Reisling, braised lamb shanks, a variety of wursts (sausages) and delicious dessets. It's simply WUNDERBAR! Many thanks again to Maria & the rest of the Munich Haus staff for a tasty & memorable dinner road trip "for a taste of Germany, no passport required." I come here every few years because I love German food, when I am in the mood. I've always liked it…read more... this time it was so-so. The food was a 3 star affair, at the most. Staff was 5 star. Atmosphere, 4 stars. The menu here is almost exactly same as the famous Student Prince restaurant in Springfield. Parking is much easier but I prefer the Student Prince's old school 1940's decor. The prices are similar ... high. 3 p.m. dinner only menu. Seriously?? The prices are double vs. lunch. Who eats dinner at 3 p.m. Those 10 minutes in between 2:50 pm and 3:00 pm cost me about $25 extra. The worst part of my meal ... Apple Strudel dessert. This isn't apple strudel. It's a weird thin-skinned apple pie with a lot of almost creamy chopped apple filling. The filling seems to contain cream of some sort and tasted a bit sour/spoiled. There is no satisfying crispiness or crunch ... it's a sloppy mess. Definitely recommend not getting this. Jager Schnitzel ... The brown gravy sauce with mushrooms was fantastic. However, there wasn't enough of it and the pork was dry and pounded way too thin, so it felt a little like eating a piece of cardboard with panko breading. Spaetzel ... Great. On the small side but perfectly buttered and tasted great. Red cabbage was also very good. Salad ... Came with the meal but I was charged $3 more for Roquefort cheese dressing. Wasn't told about the upcharge ... but the other options for dressing weren't very exciting. The Roquefort is a few crumbles of cheese mixed into sweet Russian dressing. Probably would just go with a regular dressing. The staff was great and the waitress was so perky and helpful. The host was extremely nice and accommodating. Nothing bad to say about the staff here ... they are probably the only reason I am giving 4 vs. 3 stars. The prices seem very high ... $19 for 2 sausages ... $26 for Schnitzel ... $14 - $19 for appetizers. $13 pretzel. It's all high quality stuff for sure. But, after tip, my bill was $60 for Schnitzel, a beer and a so-called Struedel. I guess that's kind of everywhere these days though. If you like German food, which is hard to find, they've been doing it for a long time. It's good ... but nothing amazing. The restaurant is clean ... staff is nice ... and menu is unique and authentic. Beer list is good and though $9 each, it comes in a tall glass ... 22 ounces?

View…read morestupendous, but sadly a pleasant view can't overcome subpar cuisine that's overpriced and fallaciously billed as authentically "Austrian". Entschuldigung! Anybody can end a dish with "...schnitzel", but that doesn't mean its meal derives from the "Osterreich" ("Austria"; excuse my excluded umlaut). However, to be fair the Inn's fudging on "authenticity" isn't my primary complaint. If the food is genuinely tasty, I can easily overlook such failures. But a central problem is that while the Inn indeed delivers a promised view, it entirely fails to do so regarding culinary quality. My filet minion was not as requested, medium rare, and while it bore some resemblance to that status, the cut was inappropriately tough. It demanded fork and knife construction work to cut it into bite sized pieces. Across the table, the chef gifted my wife scallops sliced in half swimming in an uninspired sauce with garlic.. Unfortunately, our accompanying vegetables were identically uninspired and bland. We both received cut carrots that had absolutely no seasoning, were dry, and looked startling like those one's mother pours from a plastic bag. Our green beans looked similarly mass produced and offered us equally uninspired season-less, dry fare. People offering 5/5 reviews have either never tasted truly original and inspired cuisine, or consider Hamburger Helper Haute Cuisine. I blame the chef. S/he constructs the menu, determines sides, and selects/cuts meat, at chops Scallops in half.
