Maybe our stylist was having an off day or end of shift tiredness. Unfortunately there was minimal to no effort from the stylist to be friendly with my 2 year old or any of us family members that were there for such a special moment. We weren't greeted with smiles or excitement. Low energy levels, brief discussion of haircut, no conversing. We did not feel welcome. I wish we didn't come here for my babies first haircut. $45 haircut was terrible, uneven, awkward choppy bangs, too short in some areas & too long in others. We weren't offered a balloon afterward, my daughter took it upon herself to go grab one. Photo on the certificate cut off the top of his head so you could barely see the cut anyway. We went straight to Great Clips to get his hair fixed, way cheaper, more friendly, and a skilled stylist who fixed my son's haircut.

I appreciate him taking the time to do that and providing that level of customer service. I will give them another shot. This was our first visit to this location, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. I don't think we'll be returning. We had a 1:40 p.m. appointment. When we arrived, two employees were standing at the front counter talking. I mentioned that the self-check-in keyboard wasn't working, and they said they would check us in. We then waited another minute or so for them to finish their conversation before they checked us in. Unfortunately, it appears they never informed the hairstylist that we had arrived. We ended up waiting about 20 minutes until another employee--who I believe was the manager--noticed us. He spoke rather harshly to the hairstylist, telling her that her 1:40 appointment had been waiting. From what I observed, she had no way of knowing we were there because no one had told her. I want to make it clear that the hairstylist, Lissa, was not the problem. She did a great job on my son's haircut. Even though my son wasn't a fan of the lightning bolt design, I thought it looked great. She even comped our haircut at the end, which I appreciated and certainly wasn't expecting or asking for. I hope she knows she did a wonderful job. My frustration is with the front desk's lack of communication and the way the situation was handled--not with the hairstylist, who was professional, kind, and did excellent work.

We checked in and Lissa would be his barber. They had different cars he could sit in, Lightning McQueen, a Police car, a Barbie car and a Fire rescue truck. He sat in the Fire Rescue truck. She asked him what he wanted to watch on TV, he selected Spidey and friends. She was amazing! His hair was pretty long. She cut his hair slowly with shears. No razor or buzzing. His cut was completely done in about 30 minutes. She did an excellent job!! I recommend her! Thank you Lissa for a great experience today. She gave my son his 2nd ever haircut at 14 months old after an upsetting experience at a larger franchise that specializes in cuts for babies. She took her time and let him get comfortable with the tools and surroundings and knew exactly what to play on tv to keep him distracted. The party was in this room. The girls all gor their hair done with a colored extention, and a make over. Lots of color and glitter, its a little girls dream spa. In the waiting areas they have some free gaming. The hair style lasted a Couple days, it was a very cute braid. The glitter comes off very easily during wash so dont worry about that.
