It could have been a bit more on the smash and less on the diablo. If I were to do it again, I would pick the classic smash or the ribeye sliders. Alexis was a good server. Tried this spot out and I will definitely be back! The food was pretty good. I tried the sliders and they definitely hit the spot! I was also craving wings but I love them hot, they had a diablo wing sauce that was not only a good heat hot but flavor was great! Found a new sports bar to watch football games on Sunday. I'm not sure if this restaurant/sports bar is new, but I'm glad we found it. Our server, Mel, was great. She was friendly and attentive. She checked on us multiple times, let us know when the kitchen was about to close in case we wanted to order additional food. I was craving a burger and I noticed they had daily specials and today was $11.99 smash burger day. You can choose from 5 different types of smash burgers. I chose the arizona smash (single patty) with regular fries. I was impressed with the flavor, the sauce on the burger and the fries weren't soggy or soaking in grease, which was a major plus. The Yelp address is a little off somehow and it led me to an empty parking lot, so I double checked on Google and here I am. They have sooo many TV's to meet any of your sports needs. Courtney is an excellent waiter. The food was sublime. The chef brought out my plate personally. I live in Maricopa so needless to say I don't get spoiled like this very often. I chose the Carne Asada tacos and they were spectacular. I saved one so I could bring it home to my son to try. I'm giving 3 stars for the benefit of the doubt the food is actually good. The experience wasn't the best. We came at 11am to watch the asu game. There was no hostess. It was seat yourself which is fine. We sat and waited 10 mins for someone to acknowledge us and bring waters. We waited another ten minutes for a waitress. We were informed they were "out of menus" so we needed to look up online. My husband ordered two drinks and wings for us which took another 20 minutes for the drinks and even longer for the 6 wings. We ended up leaving after the fact due to the wait. We ended up picking up smashburger on the way home to finish watching the game. I can't speak poorly of the waitress. It's obvious they were clearly understaffed which is a reflection of management not the staff. I can't say I would try this place again. read more

He fired me after springing a birthday party on us on an already outrageously busy night.. we were told not to take tabs at the bar for the large parties so the servers could make sure it was organized and successful. Finally, the two waters come and my beer but no marg. She needs time to make it. Ok, I then watch her input the other party's order and clean up aro the bar. All the while the other employee is literally sitting at a table scrolling through his phone. 10 mins go by and I have to walk to the bar to pleae ask the bartender to make my wife's drink. Service is beyond horrible. Wings were the saltiest I've ever had. I tipped almost 20% to be nice, but will NEVER come to this place again. It all starts with greeting your clients within the first 90 secs, even if it's just to say hello and I'll be right with you. DTC Sports Grille is a gem. Chef Keoni is a rock star. When another venue cancelled on our large group on the day of the event, Keoni welcomed us that night with open arms. He put together pupus (appetizers) for each table, which everybody loved. The cocktails were amazing (Pineapple Express is my fave). His staff was very courteous and attentive.
