The new place is an awesome poker spot! The chairs are comfortable, tables are nice, game is juicy, and the workers are all nice. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a game in Portland

For those with wine taste, on a beer budget, come check out the new menu! Great food, great prices and great service!

Cafe food, gone wild. Amazing taste & filling. For those with wine taste, on a beer budget, Final Table Cafe is the place to be.

PLO shootouts going, tons of action !

My favorite place in town to play poker. Competent dealers and a friendly staff. Its now 21 and over and they will sell beer and wine. Big Omaha spread twice a week. Parking is the best among the poker clubs. I wish they had a full grill for the food and they could use new chairs and felt on their tables. They have the best mix of daily hold em tourneys and plenty of shootout style cash games

First annual $100K guarantee. Total pot at $140,900.

I do not live in Portland and was visiting this club for the first time. Needless to say, I will never return. First, I want to say that all of the employees I interacted with were polite, professional and efficient. The bartender was terrific; she kept my drinks full and easily served a round of drinks for the table for me. So why the one-star review? Simply put, this club does not have any luck keeping out of control patrons in check. I was seated at a table with a guy who repeatedly made rude comments, including comments that bordered on predatory and rape culture. So much so, he was actually called out by the dealer and his seatmate. But to no avail. He continued to make comments and was continuing to be served alcohol despite his obvious intoxication. When I busted out, he spun around and around in his chair laughing like a drunken toddler. As a woman, I was offended, demoralized and felt somewhat threatened. It was not a welcoming environment in any way. What a shame.

While there are many locations to…read morechoose from, what I look for in a place I plan to $pend and win, even lose, are few not so common amenities. Lets face it, wether you go to Sharis in the back for the machines, or to the strip club machines, the vibe, cleanliness, comfort, desire to return and parkine are most important. I need to feel comfortable, not distracted, safe, and there of course needs to be parking. The Game Poker Club is CLEAN! Well organized! And the owner always puts on the personal touch for everyone. NOT just the house regulars. What a breath of fresh air! Literally! Nobody wants to walk out feeling like they don't want to go back. Also, walking to your car in a sketch area is a bit unnerving, None of that here. Great neighborhood, parking and plenty of winning to be had. I look forward to my return visits! Thank you Harry!

To be honest, they're an even better place to play than the casinos in the area. Their tournaments have better structures, generally more players, and lower rakes than the under $150 buy-in tournaments at any of the casinos I've visited in Oregon and Washington. As a tournament fan I've visited almost all of them over the years, so I was pretty surprised to find the best overall deal right here in Portland. They compare easily with Reno or smaller Vegas casinos. Their ambitious schedule and variety of buy-ins (From $30 up) means that you should be able to find something to your liking pretty easily, so long as you're looking to play Hold-em. They have yet to offer any PLO tournaments, although they do offer some PLO8. The staff keeps the place running smooth and generally conflict-free. While there are the occasional blow-ups and arguments, it's nothing out of the ordinary and the floor employees will quickly calm things down when needed. The snack and beverage prices are very reasonable, with a waitress who walks around the room so you don't have to get up and miss a hand. While you're not going to get a Venetian-style experience (My biggest complaint is their lack of antes) I've found the best overall poker in town at the Player's Palace.

We chose the Duniway for its convenient location and 4 star rating. Upon arrival, we temporarily parked in front of the hotel to check in.  The parking garage is next door and is $35 per night (as of July 2026).  Your room key will also be your ticket for self-parking and allows you to enter and exit throughout the day as well. Just remember to keep one key when you check out, so you can get out of the garage. After parking, you will take an elevator to the hotel lobby. The lobby area was quite nice, it was well decorated and full of comfy seating. The open space makes the froont desk, bar and the restaurant all easily visible from the front desk. Then we made it to our room. We got upgraded to a corner king bed room and it was quite spacious. It has everything you'll need, like a coffee machine, hair dryer, a good sized TV, an ironing board and soft bath robes. The bed was large and comfortable, and the black out curtains kept the room dark for sleeping. Since we were close to the heart of the Portland's downtown, there was some noise at night. Overall, it wasn't bad. Another perk of the Duniway is its location. It is about 5 blocks away from the waterfront, and we had no problem watching the fireworks and getting away from the crowds once they finished. It was nice to walk everywhere without worrying about parking and traffic.    We had one breakfast and one dinner in Mayfield and enjoyed our food. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. Though there were many food choices within walking distance, it's great to have options right at the hotel, especially with the food and beverage credits offered via AMEX. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. There were a few things we wish could be better, such as sound insulation between the rooms, the empty conditioner bottle in the shower and lack of hot tub in the pool area. However, the room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly., and the location is very convenient. We felt very taken care of and would like to return for another staycation.

Upon arrival, found the lobby and common area as nice as they appeared in the pictures. The hotel staff were friendly and assisted us with a quick check-in. They had an adjacent parking garage that made it very convenient to go in and out of the hotel with our rental car. Our room was in one of the high floors with big windows that got really nice sunlight. The room had modern interiors, furnishing and functional amenities. The beds were comfortable. They had a big indoor pool with warm water. The gym was also nice. The lobby area had the Mayore restaurant where hotel guests went for breakfast and other meals. The bar in the lobby was a popular spot for the guests. The courthouse park, Pioneer Place, public transportation, many other shops and restaurants, all were within few minutes of walk. We had a wonderful time staying at the hotel, with zero issues during the stay. When I went to the lobby few times for questions, the staff members were quick to help.

So that we would just be around the corner and popping in here would be easy during our stay. Luckily I was able to come in on two different days, and at different times! We got both the night life experience and the day time experience. I think I preferred the day time because it wasn't as busy. Night means cover charge ($4) and bag check. And no kids. You might see some kids during the day. What a cool place, with yummy drinks (no food), and all my favorite arcade games, and then some! They operate on a card system, so no coins needed when you visit. My pinball wizard friend had been traveling arcade ready with coins in her bag, but it turns out they weren't needed. Ground Kontrol supplies free lockers to store your stuff; just follow the instructions and don't forget your code. I learned a lot about pinball during my visits here, and played more pinball than I usually do because of that. I mean, why not? I played one of the newest pinball games, released within weeks of my visit, which was Pokemon themed, and I played one of the more vintage pinball machines, Xenon. And everything in between! It was awesome. $20 loaded onto a card will get you 15ish games, but there is a different cost depending on which game you're playing. I was satisfied with the value and would, and did! come back again. Highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area! Make sure to check out the whole place, as it's bigger than you think and there are more games (mostly pinball) upstairs.

You can valet right in front of the hotel or there are some public parking garages nearby. The actual lobby is on the eighth floor, and depending on how busy it is the elevators can be a little slow. No issues with the service. Everyone was friendly. They even spent the time trying to figure out what email I had linked to my Marriott account. The room itself was beautiful. I did enjoy having the nice couch, though there were some stains on it. The view wasn't anything too special, it overlooked the next-door building. The bathroom was clean, well lit, and I enjoy not having the little bottles of shampoo and conditioner, and instead the larger containers for less waste. It was generally quiet in the room, though you could hear the light rail go by. Wasn't a huge fan of the fact that the mini fridge was full of things that if I touched it would charged my room. So when you come in, pass the valet riveters to the left, and take the elevator up. The check-in process was fast, but the elevators took longer than they did. To access the elevators to the room floors, you need a key unless you're going down to the 1st floor or lobby. There's a restaurant on the 15th floor that had a line at the elevator because they wanted to access it without a key, and I think that's what kept the elevator area busy. The rooms are pretty big and spacious, with your usual amenities and mini-bar items. The couch was a good size. However, the TV does not move, so if you are on the couch and watching TV, the angle is sideways. The in-room dining menu is limited, with little selection, and even the restaurant/bar behind the lobby has a limited food menu.
