Final Touch was so accommodating of our situation. We were going through a mold remediation for our home and that company kept delaying the end date. Bill from Final Touch worked with us to always have a spot available to come in when the mold remediation was over. He knew we had been out of our house for several months and was so great about moving his schedule around to accommodate us. They came in and fixed all of the drywall issues. I was worried about our built in closet that we had installed because there was drywall above it that had to be replaced. Bill told me he would try and save it. For a long time, I have been wanting to eliminate the old panel lighting in my kitchen. I saw several ideas with recessed lighting installed inside the light box where the fluorescent bulbs were housed. I just wanted recessed lighting in a plain ceiling, without the box. I am so glad I found Bill and his crew, because they not only did that, but they also addressed some other issues. I had a running crack in my high living room ceiling (two stories high), which required repair, painting and retexturing... and I had my old lights throughout the house, upgraded to recessed lighting, and dimmer switches were added to designated locations. Contacted Bill about closing up our kitchen ceiling (after fixing plumbing problems from an upstairs shower leak which flooded into our kitchen). Bill replied promptly and after I sent pictures and all the info he needed, he gave us an estimate which included adding framing where the old fashioned fluorescent boxed light used to sit, drywalling the ceiling, texturing and adding 5 canned lights, he sent us a great estimate. Oscar and his coworker Edward came out on 10/31/19 and finished the job in half a day. I called a couple of months ago to schedule an estimate to remove the popcorn on my ceiling and was told I would get a call back to schedule something because he was really busy that week. Two follow up calls over the next two weeks and I never got a call back. I think he was a bit put off because I was in the Moneno Valley area and he did not want to come out that far (he seemed hesitant when I initially told him where I was). I understand that some businesses only service certain areas, but I wish he would have told me that right off the bat so I didn't waste my time. I was hoping I could work with Final Touch because they had such great reviews on Yelp. I've since joined Angie's List and they give more details on which contractors service my area so I don't waste my time. Yelp is great for restaurants, but maybe not for contractors. read more

They did a good job on the popcorn removal. But broke a light fixture. Stated they would come by and fix it. Never did. I was willing to give them a second chance on a smaller job. But was told it was too small for them. As a returning customer you would figure they would respond as an appreciation of the prior job. Just because you try to get the last word. Doesnt make it true. The light fixture was fine before you did the work. What ever happen to the customer always being right? Also never assume I couldnt afford the work on the intial estimate. I simply decided not to do the work on the bedrooms of a possible future rental. Telling me my job was too small is disrespectful. Saying you didnt want to overcharge me isnt an excuse either. Bill for services done. Then there wont be any overcharging. You received two stars because your customer follow up service sucks. Dont act like you are doing me a favor. Its business. WOW, THESE GUYS ROCK. first off let me start by saying I don't do many reviews so when I do one its really saying something. Bill came out on a Tuesday we talked and went over the whole house. It took about an hour because they are very knowledgeable and were happy to help with ideas and suggestions. We were sent a quote on the spot, agreed to the work and the job was started 2 days later. We were promised a finish in 8 days and they actually finished in 7!!! This is no small feat as our house is 2400sq ft! 56 recessed lights installed and full popcorn removal with smooth finish and we couldn't be happier. We did notice a few little things after the fact and bill had a guy out next day taking care of it with ZERO HASSLE!!! Bill is a standup guy who so far had stood behind his words 100%. This is neutral review, as I didn't pick their service and had no idea on their quality. My plumbing job left bathroom drywall to be repaired. I searched on Yelp, made call and provided drywall pictures. Bill quoted $600 without painting. I asked whether it is negotiable, as it is not a big project. He told me that's their minimum. Frank, prompt but pricey. Another handyman repaired drywall the next day @ $350 with painting. Bill might be good for your BIG project, but not for everyone. read more

I called several times and left several messages over the course of a week. Two weeks later I still haven't received a phone call back. I can truly say Bill is one of the most honest and most ethical business person I have ever met. Due to some issues with the ceilings he explained that there could be some future potential problems if it was drywalled. Any other person would have just given me a quote for the work and left, but Bill suggested other possible options and even stated that he would research it further and get back to me.
