She also is so good about recommending styling product and heat tools to use if your hairstyle is high-maintenance. Mines is pretty high-maintenance but she always guides you on how to style yourself so that you look good every day not just after your hair appointment! Selina listened to what I wanted, selected a color and my roots now blend in with the rest of my hair perfectly. She did such a great job. The stylists are independent contractors but the person who answered the phone gave me a couple of stylist names & numbers to call. Kayana was able to get me in on the day that I requested. Although there was a little mix-up on the time, she apologized and went right to work. She was very friendly and professional throughout the appointment. I just wanted a color touch-up and her prices were more reasonable than some of the other stylists I had checked out. She did a very thorough job coloring my hair and I felt like it was more of a full color rather than just a touch up! She utilized a new type of Paul Mitchell coloring product that processes in 10 min as opposed to 30 min. Wow, I'm on board with that! Afterwards she dried my hair using a hair brush dryer (the double shot by Drybar) and my hair looked like I just had a blow out! I was so impressed with that dryer that I went on Amazon and bought one right after my appointment. The salon is located in the Koko Marina shopping plaza, close to Zippy's and across from the old theater. Plenty of parking is available in the shared lot. The salon itself is clean and spacious. I would highly recommend this salon and I'm so happy I found Kayana. She will definitely be my go-to stylist moving forward.

I desperately just needed to sneak away last minute and do something for myself. So on a whim, I called to make an appt. I rushed down to meet Marysa. Upon entering, she had such a great demeanor. We chatted about what I envisioned and she gave me her honest opinion and what her capabilities were in this one session. So I went with it. Told her I'm game to roll the dice and see where it goes. Omg she's amazing. I didn't think she'd be able to achieve the color she did in one session. She even saw a spot and insisted she redo a certain segment that didn't look the way she had hoped. Knowing i was just going home, i was ok walking out without being dried or styled but she wanted to do that as well. I walked out looking like a million bucks. Definitely date night material.
