They have a parking lot with free parking on the side of the building. It's a huge bonus that it's quick and easy to park. The shop has several cases that are always packed with a variety of treats. They have whole cakes, cake slices, decorated cookies, sweet scones, savory scones, rice krispy bars, seven layer bars, lemon bars, muffins, several types of cookies, and more. Even when I have arrived in the middle of the day the cases have been full and still have a great variety. I have loved everything I have tried here. My favorites are the rice krispy treats (especially the fruity one), the dolly bar, the almond cookie, and scones. The cake slices are delicious, but very rich. We split this into two or three pieces. They also have a shop next door that has a lot of cute party and gift items. If you have a sweet tooth then you need to check out Baked on 8th.

The fondant version is what we got complete with mis-spelling and child like painted on details. After notifying Kelly that we were not happy with the presentation she proceeded to text a bunch of photos of cakes she's done that turned out great, incessantly defending her sub-par work. She blamed the extreme heat for inability to complete as ordered, they tried putting it in the freezer to keep it cold but just too hot out. She said she would have directed us differently as far as type of cake decor if she had known the weather would be so hot- we ordered this cake far in advance and the the heat wave was anticipated days before we arrived. It really just seems like the type of detail we wanted was not something this bakery is capable of doing. We had the cake delivered to the house before we got there which was super convenient. Only got concerned with this after Kelly told us to make sure to lock our doors at night since we were in a "bad" neighborhood. Since the bakery had the code to our doors and she was texting this late at night, this comment was received as threatening and we became concerned for our safety. The customer service and service recovery is something this bakery really needs to work on, we will NEVER be working with them again. Only positives... She did acknowledge that the order looked very rushed and gave us 10% refund. The cake tasted great, but just not worth the money in my opinion.

They are literally works of art made by a creative decorator who demands perfection and uses the finest ingredients. You can't eat too much at one time, which is probably a good thing. We had hoped for some sort of confirmation email to let us know the cake was finished. The cake is a simple 6" round cake for my elopement. Everything was set and an invoice was sent over which unfortunately went to spam. When I did a search of my emails to figure out what was going on with the cake portion of my wedding since I hadn't heard anything in awhile, I noticed her order cancellation email (she sent this over on August 28th- screenshots provided). It had been sent two days before hand so I sent over an immediate email explaining it had been sent to spam but that I can pay immediately (sent to her on August 30th). I just received an email response back today (September 4th- 5 whole days from my email stating I could pay immediately) saying they are now booked and cannot do my cake. Mind you this is again a 6" round cake that is needed on a Friday in October which is almost 6 weeks away. Ironic too that in her reviews there are multiple reviews about being able to get last minute cakes from her, including one posted just 2 weeks ago for a pretty elaborate 2 tiered cake. Wild to think in the height of summer wedding season someone is able to get a two tiered cake last minute. The owner also had the nerve to state she tried to call my phone but it wasn't in service which is not true and felt like a rude jab. I'm including the emails to prove the validity of my review as this owner likes to claim she has no memory of having interactions with people leaving low reviews. All in all, this place is very expensive for rude and petty behavior from this business owner. I'm also attaching my invoice for the price of a basic 6" round cake.
