I mostly see Brittney, and if you are ever looking for a basic haircut or a flat ironing/curling session, I highly recommend seeing Brittney. She is also not bad with coloring hair either. I've gotten lowlights in my hair before with her and it came out perfect. While at the gym I noticed really incredible spray tanning prices that seemed really too good to be true, posted around the facility I worked out at in Cameron Park. So being someone, not too interested in destroying my skin by lying in the sun or tanning in the tanning bed, I decided to check the place out. Located in Cameron Park, on the corner of Green Valley Rd and Bass Lake, is this really beautiful salon that I never even previously knew existed; Fine Arts Salon and Spa. I was a bit apprehensive at first being in a new environment and being spray tanned for the first time by someone I never met before. Ashley introduced herself to me and told me she would be tanning me. She walked me back into a special tanning room where the procedure would take place. She showed me the equipment she would be using and asked if I had any particular requests, how dark I wanted to be, etc. I was completely comfortable with her; she was so knowledgeable and professional and gave me an incredible tan that lasted for weeks. She missed absolutely nothing, no weird shading, running of the color or missed spots, she even got those hard to tan places like elbows, knees, hands and face, the places that can show lack of experience. Nope, Ashley nailed it!!! Not only that; her pricing is hands down INSANELY AFFORDABLE. $15 a session or $39 for one session a week or $49 for unlimited spray tans. FYI, most spray tanning costs $40 A SESSION!!! She charges, $39 for 4-5 sessions TOTAL; the package I personally purchased. What is great about her packages is they can run for small periods of time too so you are not locked into some yearlong contract; very accommodating!!! I have sent many, many people to her facility for tanning and all of them are hooked by her prices and incredible service. Fine Arts Salon also has a full service hair salon; they do makeup, specialty hair services for weddings, offer regular tanning beds, facials and massage; a little bit of everything. I really am very impressed with this facility and plan to continue frequenting it and sending business to them!!! From keratin treatments...to highlights...she's done it all for me. She goes above & beyond to ensure I'm always happy with my hair style and/or color. I'm her "human guinea pig" when it comes to experimenting with different hair colors...from an extreme pretty shade of red, to deep purple highlights, and then back to blonde highlights..she always gets it right. We have been attending this Salon since 2011. Brittany gives my daughters, ten and five, the cutest haircuts. My ten year old gets a pixie cut and 5 year old twins get "bobs". She has a great rapport with all three, and they consider a haircut to be a real treat! Her prices are reasonable. read more

Awesome! Called up randomly to see if we (my daughter & myself) could get appointments today and as luck would have it they had a stylist Shawn who could get us in in 20 minutes. Not a problem we were down in Rancho and could easily make it in 20 min. My daughter had been to this salon on a few occasions in the past. We walked in and were greeted by Shawn right away. I went first and just to give you an idea, I have pretty curly hair and I tend to wear it up quite a bit. I am also not a big fan of getting my hair cut because I find that not many stylist are accustomed to dealing with this type of hair. Boy did I ever luck out. Shawn was awesome, professional and fun to chat with. Turns out we know a lot of the same people. I am so happy with my hair. I will definitely be a regular now. Next up was my daughter and again she did a fantastic job. My daughter also had some feather's added to her hair which she was so thrilled about. Shawn gave her a fantastic cut and really listened to what my daughter wanted (which I will tell you is a challenge as she is not great at describing exactly what she wants). Really was a great time and the salon is very professional, clean and visually appealing and offers many other services as well from tanning and waxing to professional make up artistry. Hair cuts were ok, however, hair coloring was never correct. During my several visits to this salon (with Dorothy the owner) I requested blonde highlights along with a hair cut. The hair cuts were ok, however, the highlights were never blonde, rather a red tone. Often times I could not tell the actual color of the highlights until I left the salon and went into natural light. During the last visit I asked for the usual blonde highlights and no hair cut. What I received was a mish-mash of red-toned highlights. Not only was the color incorrect, but the number of highlighted strands were much, much more then I requested. In the past I had returned to the salon for color corrections. After the last visit., I texted the owner and explained my concerns; I also left her a few voicemail messasges, to no avail. It appears her cell phone only works when one is need of scheduling an appointment, however, it does not work if one is attempting to make an appointment to come back for corrections. I guess I should have stopped going to her after the first few coloring attempts (which were not very successful) but I like to stay with the same stylest and give them the benefit of the doubt. After all was said and done, I finally receive a messasge stating we are not a good match which is rather funny since I had already texted her requesting cancellation of my next scheduled appointment. I believe a stylest should let you know if they are not familiar with color treatments so time and money are not wasdted. read more
