I was referred to Bill Stacey and Fine Line Auto Body by a friend, and I now owe that friend a good bottle of wine, because it was a great referral, Fine Line did excellent work for me. The hood of my Mercedes SUV got dented and badly scraped by a piece of debris which fell off a truck ahead of me on the highway. The car was less than 6 months old, so I was hugely disappointed by the damage. I got prices from two other area body shops highly rated on Yelp, but both of those would have further dented me, this time my wallet. So I contacted a friend who seems to know a specialist for every need, and he sent me to Fine Line. I set an appointment with Fine Line to get a proposal (they are popular, so they work with scheduled appointments rather than walk-in requests). The ladies in the office were friendly and welcoming, and Bill met with me promptly at the time of my appointment. Within 10 minutes, I had a written estimate for the necessary repair which was much more attractive than the two other quotes I had received. I accepted the proposal and scheduled to drop off my car early the following week. The proposal had indicated the repair would take 2-3 days, so I was surprised when I got a call the afternoon I'd dropped my car at Fine Line. I was told the car should be done the following afternoon, but that they'd call me back in the morning to confirm. The next day, mid-morning I got another call confirming that the repair would definitely be done that day. When I stopped that afternoon, my car was waiting for me, looking clean, shiney, smooth and sleek without any visible sign of the dent or scratches. I don't know if the work was a challenge for the repair techs and painter or if it was easy, but I do know it looks great, there is no visible difference between the repair and the rest of the car's hood. It looks as good as it had the day I'd picked it up from the dealer. Fine Line Auto Body completely delivered! Their price was better than the competition, their service faster than promised, and the work looks great. If I ever have need for any car body repairs again, I will only consider Fine Line Auto Body, and I strongly recommend them to anyone else who needs car body repair. read more

This is the second time using FineLine Auto body shop to repair my two vehicles. The first was my daughters car a Hyundai after it was vandalized. There was plenty of communication and they replaced her slashed tire and scratches on the outside of her car. It took a little longer than expected but all in all we were satisfied. Carla at the front desk was a pleasure to work with. She is very pleasant and knowledgable. The second repair was NOT to my satisfaction at all and I now have to bring it back in or take it somewhere else to fix my Subaru that was in a front end collision recently. The only reason I chose this place was because they fixed my Hyundai so I figured they would take care of my Subaru as well as they did my Hyundai or I would have brought it into Subaru auto body. That was a huge mistake. Not only did it take over three weeks to fix my Subaru but the manager was rude when I asked her if she would detail the inside of my car because they stored my greasy dirty door panels inside my car on top of my clean seats and in my hatch. They called me every day at the very end telling me that my car was ready and then called back saying I had to wait another day. I had cancelled appts to make time to pick it up! When I finally got the call to pick it up it was 3 in the afternoon. So I had to cancel another Dr appt to rush over there in time to return my rental car and get to Fineline in time to pick up my car since they close at 5 pm! By the time I got there no one but Carla was there so I could not address any of my concerns or complaints to the manager. I took my car to Subaru auto body for their estimate and opinion on the repairs that were clearly visibly not repaired correctly!! The front hood is totally misaligned along with over $950 in repairs that need to be done to correct their poorly done repair! In addition my car was returned to me disgusting with grease marks all on the inside of my car. They did not clean it at ALL! I am now submitting my Subaru estimate to the insurance company as I do not want to bring it back to them. I will never use this place again. I brought my car back and they finally fixed my car but a customer should not have to go through this to get satisfaction. Won't ever use this shop again. read more

Been using them for the last 15 years and their work is unbelievable. Don't worry about when they get backed up because they are busy, any decent body shop is going to be busy when their work is this good. read more

Fine Line was recommended by our insurance company for an estimate due to an accident. We went and were not sure where we were going to repair the car. After meeting with Judy and getting a good feeling about their workmanship, we made an appointment to fix the car there. From the estimate, to the drop off, car rental arrangements and the constant updates, we were extremely pleased. Work is guaranteed and a couple of days later when my husband saw something a little loose we went back and they took care of it on the spot. Just recently brought in my 2017 BMW in for body repair. There was a larger ding on the hood and 2 dings on the top of the fender along with some scrapes on the front bumper cover and fender. Bumper cover was offset along with front fender. Many estimates I got they were going to repaint the hood and fender which I didn't want to do. Fineline was able to buff out the scrapes and take the dings out of the hood and fender and readjust the fender. I did want the bumper cover repainted from some minor damage from a previous owner. Brought it in on a Wednesday morning and it was all completed by late friday morning and also saved $1000 from previous estimates. Very friendly honest people and will highly recommend and will go back if ever needed. read more

Faster than expected. Quality work. I've used this shop once before, and recently my car was involved in an accident. Fineline was on my insurance company list of approved shops so I had my car towed over there. I went over to "visit" my car (as the estimated time for completion was another week) and was pleasantly surprised that it is ahead of schedule. ( almost done). It looks great and bill says he will even touch up the rest of the car "on the house" I will supply a photo as an update once I pick up the car. And please remember "Judy". I am a woman and took my car to be repaired to that shop after speaking to my insurance company who reccommeded this Body Shop. The owner stated that the repairs would be done just as if the car went to Jaguar dealership. Needless to say, when the car was done it had dents and scratches that were not there prior to the accident, parts didn't fit right, parts that were missing and the paint work was substandard. The parts appeared to be used, when in fact they had charged the insurance company for new parts. The parts were in fact used as discovered, the car had to be taken to the Jaguar dealership to correct the substandard repairs. The owner as nice as he can be, can't be trusted. He was asked, in more than occurance, if he had used new parts to which he answered yes, and reassured me that all of the parts in the Jaguar were new. There will be an investigation by the Attorney General in Florida as it appears they are commiting insurance fraud in more ways than one. I wonder how many other WOMEN have been taken advantage of by Fineline Autobody, I am not mechanicaly inclined when I started questioning the obvious. I had a male friend look at the car and that is when the substandard repair was discovered. read more
