    The Kokomo

I ordered the Kokomo online. Online it is a bright yellow drink and described as having mango, raspberry and coconut. When I got it, it's a different color and all I taste was carbonated strawberry. When I asked the cashier if it was correct, they said that it was. Also ordered a cheese danish which to be honest was not that great, was expecting more cheese, but there was only a line of it on the pastry. Cute place with small town energy but I think they need to update how their products look and taste online versus for when you pick it up.

The salad I ordered came with some of the best homemade ranch I've ever had--seriously, wow.

A note on the door pointed out a $2 surcharge on all dishes that included eggs (fair!). I was greeted immediately after walking in and told to choose my seat (there's a sign that says wait to be seated, but it was a weekday and there was only one group in there). The server brought me a menu and took my drink order right away. She was willing to take my food order quickly, too, but I let her know I'd be camping out, so she gave me time to settle in and enjoy my coffee. There's music juuust loud enough to be recognizable if you're not talking to someone. That's perfect, I don't like loud music you have to shout over. The cowboy Benedict HIT THE SPOT. And the sunny side up eggs were perfectly runny. In a combined dish like this, some restaurants will load up on potatoes or biscuits for volume... but the steak was the star of the show portion wise, and there was a nice complement of the rest. The bathroom looked well scrubbed, BUT there was buildup around the faucet base... like they obviously keep the high touch areas clean, but it could use a scrape and a new layer of caulk. I didn't have any complaints. Good food. Good coffee. Great service, with perfectly timed refills. Not a bad price. Overall, a nice quiet place to have breakfast and read my book until my kid finished his class at JeffCo. I'll likely be back when I'm in town again.

Jamie did a wonderful job of coordinating my daughters rehearsal dinner and wedding this weekend,…read morealong with a full service team for food service, bar service and event set up. Food was fresh, delicious and portions were generous. With plans for an outdoor wedding, this venue is prepared for any weather and can quickly prepare for last minute changes. We opted for the outdoor tent. This area has a beautiful backdrop of the lake and vineyard with great lighting in the tent and nearby walking areas. Food and drink is served indoors with plenty of processional space. There is also a separate terrace below the tent for cocktail hour or special gatherings. I would definitely recommend this venue for your special event.

I've visited many times over the years and have even hosted a few celebrations here. The winery continues to evolve, and it impresses me every time I return. The food alone is worth the drive. I ordered the wood-fired sausage pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. I would put it up against pizza from any restaurant in St. Louis or on The Hill. The cheese blend was perfect, and the thin crust made it satisfying without feeling too heavy on a warm day. I highly recommend it. There was also a great live music duo playing, along with several special events that added to the festive atmosphere. I saw birthday celebrations, including a 70th birthday party at the Lakeside Pavilion, as well as a bridal shower and a wedding reception. Even with so much happening, the staff was friendly and attentive, and I didn't have a long wait for my food. There are plenty of unique spaces within the property. Some are for private events, but there was plenty of room open to the public so you could be right in the middle of the action or you could find a little peaceful corner by the grapevines. Villa Antonio is such a lovely place to spend an afternoon. It is well worth the short 35 minute drive from Webster Groves.
