I parked my car overnight at the only available lot that was close to my home and in the morning when I woke up to go to work I noticed that there was a huge bumper rash on the right side of my vehicle. A few months back, my wife scratched the front passenger side of her bumper as she pulled into a parking spot (she scratched it against a stucco-textured wall). Since the scratches didn't bother us, we opted not to have it repaired. Fast forward to the end of June 2017, I come home to find my father-in-law in our driveway with some random guy who "repaired" his car (allegedly replaced some clips on body molding and de-hazed his headlights), and who had agreed to repair the scratches on my wife's car for an unbelievably low price. Our scam alarms were going off in our heads, but my father-in-law insisted this guy was honest, and he insisted on paying for the repair. Against our better judgment, we relented. As expected, it was a total scam - he sanded down the scratches and painted the bumper, finishing it off with polishing compound that we were to remove the following morning. Of course, the majority of the compound would not come off and we were left with a car that looked terrible. Forced to repair this eyesore, we called a few places for estimates, including Dan the Bumper Man and Dents No More. Dan the Bumper Man quoted us a price that we were satisfied with, but he could not see us for 3 weeks. Dents No More asked that we bring the car in for an estimate. We would have done so, except they're only open on weekdays, and only from 8am to 4pm, and my wife is at home w/ two young children (and I am at work from 7:00am to 5:00pm). I was referred to Finish Pro by another business and sent the owner an e-mail. Didn't hear from him so followed up. Somehow, my e-mail got lost in the mix and he was extremely apologetic for the mix-up. To my shock and surprise, Finish Pro quoted me a repair price that was even better than Dan the Bumper Man, and he could squeeze us in a few days (even before the first available date Dan the Bumper Man had given us). I conferred with my wife and we agreed to go with FInish Pro. Mr. McBee showed up at our house on time and finished the job in three hours or so. According to my wife, he was meticulous with his work, and we are pleased with the way my wife's car's bumper looks. She remarks the bumper practically looks brand new. Glad we were referred to Mr. McBee and Finish Pro. I read the great Yelp reviews and thought I'ld give them a try. I texted Dan pictures of my Infiniti G35 with discolored hood and fender. He quoted me a price and we set up at date for the painting. I also decided to add my Lexus fender and rear bumper. He arrived at my house at 8am. The weather was awful -- cold winter storm with rain, probably the coldest day in Orange County in 2014. He set up shop in my garage. He attached tube lights to the wooden cross beams and covered my items in the garage with plastic. He worked continuously until 8pm. We offered him food warmth and drink but he was too kind to accept. The end result was perfection. The Infiniti hood and fender colors were perfectly matched. The paint and finish better than another body shop I used in the past. I highly recommend Dan at FinishPro and will contact him for future paint needs. read more

I took my girlfriend's car to get a wash early in the morning. On my way parking in the garage, I scuffed the right bumper on the wall of her brand new Lexus. I guess no good deed goes unpunished, just kidding. I found Dan on Sunday and emailed a photo and he quoted me within 2 hours and provided a few times that he would be available. He kept me in the loop on when he would be at my house, unlike the cable guy who gave me a 12 hour window. He arrived promptly at 5pm and a little over an hour, the bumper was back in great condition. I wasn't charged extra for the "pearl white" paint either, which was a plus. The entire experience was first class and I would highly recommend his customer service, follow through and quality of work. BEWARE YOU GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR. Competitive pricing, but did a very shoddy job that needed to be redone by another body shop... Also the service left a lot to be desired... as he doesn't seem to care much about residential customers who only need minor repairs. My sister needed to reshape the front bumper of her Civic, and he quoted $150, (which I thought was cheap at first, but other mobile body shops charge the same amount since they have less operating costs) When the guy Dan "finished" the job, he was not even competent enough to reshape the dent... The irregular shape on the front bumper was still noticeable to the point IT LOOKED LIKE A NON-EXPERT DID A HALF-ASSED JOB my sis tried to tell him the bumper still didn't look fixed (and she's no expert on cars), but he said that is the best he could do and just took off..... and of course my sister was too passive to argue and just let it slide. And the guy Dan simply refused to return any follow up emails when I wanted to talked to him directly about it. Ended up having to pay another body shop to get it fixed, so pretty much wasted a lot of time and $150. read more

The only reason it's 4 out of 5 stars is because of Dan's limited schedule. They do a lot of work for dealerships and don't make house calls except on certain days. It might have not been the case a few months ago, but seems to be now. At any rate, in all other aspects Dan does a great job - great work, great value compared to what a dealership/body shop would charge you for minor dents and scratches. I had Dan work on two cars and both look like the scratch never happened. Very professional and easy to deal with. He wasn't quite satisfied after sanding and touching up the half that needed it, he did the whole thing and it looks brand new. He then turned his attention to my scratch/scuffed rear side panel, courtesy of the lowlife who hit my car when I left it at the airport.
