He responded to my yelp request and was so professional and easy to work with through text messaging. I could tell immediately he was a hard worker who cared about my business. I waited on going through with it because Life got busy - and when I reached back out, I found that he had left the business he was with when we first started texting and went to start his own business. Both his former establishment and he... Were so professional about the fact that he had left one business and started his own. The other business even referred Connor to me at his new location. I thought that was really respectable! You will not be disappointed... Connor was quick and very efficient and even took the time to show me the difference between the tint he took off my car that was bubbling and purple and the new tint that he put on. I was concerned about the color of the tint from inside the car and that it would be dark, but not too dark. He did the best job ever! And he used a special steam process to takeoff the old tint. The location is very nice and there was a nice waiting area for me while they did the work. I could see them working right in front of me and trust this place completely! Thanks to Hose Specialties tonight I was able to drive my car for the first time in 4 months!!! I…read morecan't tell you how happy I am that I found them. Long story short, I had to swap the original power steering pump on my 59 El Camino to a slightly newer pump. Because of that, the original hoses didn't fit the new pump. I tried every parts store with no luck, then ordered hoses from Jegs. They weren't even close. I tried everywhere on the internet, but no luck. I went through 3 sets of hoses, but none of them fit. Both sides of the hoses have very weird bends to fit in a tight space. I went to a hose maker in National City, but they no longer made hoses. I tried a big hydraulic hose company in Kearny Mesa who said they could make the hoses, but after a week they told me they couldn't. I tried 3 different hose manufacturers in East County. One, who specialized in hoses, was totally clueless about automotive hoses and tried to sell me an expensive adapter that wasn't even an automotive thread. This went on for months, and I ran into a dead end everywhere I looked. This was the most difficult part I'd ever had to find for my El Camino. Finally I went to Hose Specialties. They made me a beautiful braided hose with the perfect fittings. I couldn't believe it when I went home and the hose they made me was beyond perfect!!! It fit the power steering pump and control valve and in a super tight space. The price was much less than I paid from hoses that didn't work from Year One, and the quality is 100 times better.

I've driven past this place countless times, and when I finally decided to wrap my Rivian, I reached out for a quote. Timing probably wasn't ideal since the owners were on a short vacation, but they still made the effort to follow up about a week later. That already said a lot to me. We ended up having a pretty long phone conversation--funny enough, not just about the wrap, but about life in general. By the end of that call, I felt confident I had found the right shop. Throughout the entire process--from picking the material to final installation--they were transparent, detail-oriented, and just genuinely honest. That kind of communication goes a long way, and I appreciated it. As for the wrap itself, it came out incredible. The matte satin finish on the Rivian looks exactly how I pictured it--if not better. The edges, corners, everything is clean and precise. I've seen enough wraps to know that even the best material can look bad with poor installation, and vice versa. In this case, they clearly nailed the prep and install because the final result speaks for itself. I'd absolutely recommend them to anyone considering a wrap.
